Bravissimo Cool Apartments

I've had great experiences in the past with Bravissimo, but apparently their services have taken a turn for the worse. Here were the issues with our apartment: 1 - mold smell throughout the apartment and black mold apparent in the bathroom 2 - no kitchen towels so we had to use bathroom towels 3 - no kitchen oven hot pads so we had to use bathroom towels to remove hot items from the oven 4 - no basic kitchen supplies like salt, pepper, olive oil 5 - no coffee pods at all for Nespresso coffee maker 6 - no soap in bathroom 7 - the only clock in the apartment did not work and was stopped 8 - oven and thermostat only had a myriad of images and buttons with no instructions and no way of determining how they worked; an instruction manual is required for both but were not available 9 - elevator in hallway makes an ear-piercing shried every time it opens outside the apartment door, all hours of the night

I recently stayed in the apartment near the Cathedral and it truly is superb accommodation in Girona, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Check-in was an absolute breeze, and communication with the host was clear, friendly, and efficient from start to finish. The location is fantastic, perfect for exploring the city, and despite being so central, it still felt peaceful and comfortable. The price was very reasonable, and the overall value for money was excellent. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Girona!

We had a fantastic stay at the Bravissimo Eiximenis apartment in Girona. The location is spot on – right in the heart of the city but still wonderfully quiet. Everything is within easy walking distance, from the historic sights to the amazing restaurants (we definitely ate very well!). The apartment is just the right size, but what really sets it apart is the outside space. It opens everything up and gives you wonderful views over the rooftops – the perfect spot for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. As a cyclist and with my wife being a runner, it was ideal for us, with plenty of space to unwind after being out and about. We’ve stayed with Bravissimo a few times now, but this is without doubt our favourite. The attention to detail is excellent, the keyless entry system works brilliantly, and communication is always superb. A special thanks to Marco for his help – we can’t wait to come back!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay in the apartment. The location is excellent—right in the old town, with everything reachable within a few minutes’ walk. However, we were disappointed by the condition of the apartment. The furniture was quite worn/shabby with a lot of stains (especially couch and armchairs), the kitchen poorly equipped, no wardrobes at all and there was a persistent unpleasant smell in one of the bathrooms throughout our stay. On a positive note, the Bravissimo staff were always very supportive and responded promptly and professionally to all our questions and requests. All in all, while the stay was generally good, we would definitely not recommend this particular apartment and would rather choose a different Bravissimo accommodation next time.

We stayed in an apartment above the SPAR in the old town. The location is fantastic, but the apartment itself is okay ish. Its very noisy because there's no double glazing, it still has the original wooden windows. You can hear every single item going through the scanner at the SPAR below Beep beep beep.... Very irritating. Other noises also, but less annoying than the contant beeping. The galley style kitchen is way too small for 6 or 7 people. Its way too narrow and if the dishwasher or fridge door is open no one can move. The floor is old, dirty tiles which are broken / cracked in places and some are loose. There are other loose tiles in the apartment also. The description of the bathrooms are misleading. The bathroom is one space with 2 basins to the left and 2 showers with a toilet each to the right. The space between is very narrow so I would not describe it as having 2 bathrooms as it doesnt give you the same as what 2 seperate bathrooms would. Its more like in a hostal. No privacy either. The apartment has a lot of potential, but as it stands not value for money compared to other availability at the time. Also very poor handling of an issue we had with broken equipment. When we checked in the dishwasher was broken. The next morning a technician spent 3 hours trying to fix it, while busy blocking off the entire kitchen. He told us it needed it was broken beyond repair and to be replaced. This wasnt surprising as the dishwasher was old and clearly well used. The host refused the advice and sent a second technician the following day, who also spent hours trying to fix it, again blocking the whole kitchen, just to come to the same conclusion. Finally the dishwasher was replaced on the 4th day of our stay after washing dishes for 6 people for 8 meals. They should have just replaced the dishwasher immediately and tried to fix the old one on their own time not on our time which we paid for. Bravisimo used to be excelent but they seem to be getting too big or managing too many properties and quality suffers. Unfortunate.

I have stayed at different apartments the past few years. Each apartment has been modern, minimalist and comfortable. The staff is really awesome - professional, caring and attentive. Thank you, Bravissimo! I’ll return :)

Top position, clean and practical. Appartment has everithing you need if you’re a biker. Washing mashine and dryer are in appartment. Parking is practical and 1 min walking.

I left a review at the start of the year about our stay in Girona and how the apartment wasn't clean. I must say that since, Bravissimo have reached out and completely refunded us for the stay and also booked us another stay free of charge for us to go back again. We are now really happy with how Bravissimo have rectified the situation. As I said in my other review, we have stayed with Bravissimo a lot of times and this was the only time we encountered a problem. We hope it won't happen again and if it doesn't then we will continue to use them. Thanks Bravissimo for reaching out to put it right.
