Beautiful hotel that was situated in a great place. The staff literally couldn’t do enough. Big shout out to the 3 ladies on reception. All I remember was Jades name (hope you had a good holiday). Also the bar staff partially Marie and Elias, who are just brilliant and very entertaining. You’re all a great asset.||The only issue we had is we were booked for Cosy double and Upon arrival we noticed how hot the room was as located at the back of the building. The room was a cosy size hence the name. ||We soon realised we needed a fan as there isn’t air conditioning in the room. Unfortunately we didn’t get a good night sleep due to heat. The next day we paid to get upgrade to the other side of the hotel with a bigger room and sea view. A lot better!||That was the only negative thing I would have said. Would definitely stay here again. They have a cinema room which I thought was pretty cool. We had a tour round it but as the weather was good we were outside mainly.

We reserved a table outside with a nice view of the bay. We ordered mushroom soap, crostini with prawns and sea bass. Meal was tasty and staff was very friendly and accommodating. All good so far. As a desert we ordered a cheese selection for 14 GBP excl. 12.5% service tax. Very disappointing. Cheese selection just included a slice of what looked and tasted like plain brie and a piece of blue cheese and some dry toast. No further explanations from the waiter. Not a selection what somebody from France or Netherlands expects. For drinks we asked for the beverage chart and the waiter told us that they don't have one but we can go to the bar and see what is available (?). Although we were suspicious on what they were not transparent about beverage pricing we did not want walk over to the bar and ordered some sparking water and two glasses of house wine. When we asked for the bill we noticed that there was a charge of 32 GPB + 12.5% = 36 GBP for two glasses of house wine (?!). When we complained about the exorbitant price the waiter said this was the normal price for house wine. When we complained to the manager on duty that night he said that in fact it was the cheapest wine you could get. When I told the manager that apparently it was my mistake not to ask for the price of house wine before he said 'yes sir'. The combination of not providing a beverage menu and then being charged this amount feels very unfair and is against everything we consider good hospitality and fair business.

This is a beautiful little hotel in a perfect location above the white sand of Braye Beach and close to the harbour at St Annes. We were warmly greeted at the airport by Michelle (one of the island's two taxi companies) - arranged by the hotel - and from there onward we met such friendly, welcoming people everywhere we went. Our room (with a beach view) was cosy and pretty, spotlessly clean bathroom and very comfortable bed. Little touches like chilled water and fresh milk made us feel at home. You can breakfast inside or on the gorgeous sun deck. The bar and terrace look over the sea and again are just wonderful. Huge shout out to the team at the hotel with special thanks to Marie and Elias and to Helen for her morning welcome at the fabulous breakfast....

Such a beautiful location and great hotel. Eating al fresco on the terrace was beautiful, taking take away coffees to the beach were perfect, and the staff couldn’t do more for us. The rooms were cosy but spacious, with stunning views and you get both sunset and sunrise. Can’t recommend enough.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting right on the beach. Every single member of staff was fantastic, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection. The full breakfast is brilliant, all well cooked and piping hot. Not too far to walk to the main town and the hotel has a lovely well stocked bar and there is pub next door and another about 20 yards away! The rooms are just right, well kept and clean! Can’t wait to return! Thank you

My wife and I visited for a couple of nights however we were unable to get a good nights sleep on the first night due to a very noisy group of medics who took over the restaurant followed by grouping around a fire pit on the beach until the early hours. Just when peace was returning they decided to go for a noisy swim at 01.00am!|It was a hot evening so we had to have the room windows open so couldn't shut the noise out.|On the plus side we can't rate Lisa highly enough. We had a potential problem obtaining our Alderney Coast Path Challenge Certificate having completed the very enjoyable 10 mile walk and Lisa went above and beyond arranging to have one sent to us as we were unable to collect one from the Tourist Information Center having left Alderney on Sunday. Many thanks again Lisa!|The hotel is in a great location and we'd definitely return if we ever visit Alderney again.

The drinks prices are ridiculous. £56 for a bottle of rose and it came straight from the cellar and warm. We left as every table around us was complaining about the prices and it was just a negative vibe with stressed, over run staff. White wine was £21 per glass. I wouldn’t even pay that at a London rooftop bar. Madness after the take over and not shocking it was half empty on bank holiday weekend. Go elsewhere.

Can’t fault this hotel: the location is superb and really very special. The staff were without exception polite, friendly and professional. Rooms are on the small side but adequate for what you need and very clean. The breakfast was very good indeed with some lovely local foods included. There are beautiful coastal walks close by and Alderney is a very special corner of the British Isles. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to return one day. Thanks to the entire team for all their work.
