The service was not great. Had to flag waiters down to get any service. Some items we ordered were never brought out but they were still on the check. The Garlic Lover’s pizza had no actual garlic cloves, just dried garlic powder and literally less than one olive per slice. The steak dish was underwhelming for $40 price tag. Very overpriced for the quality of food and service. Not an issue but just FYI: They add 20% service charge automatically and 3% charge for credit cards.

Come here Wednesday night to try all of the pizzas. This place is so amazing! Brazilian pizza is in a class of its own with a very good crust (much better than American pizza). The savory and desert pizzas are brought to your table nonstop until you flip your card. The chicken with cheddar and bacon and the picanha (steak) were prob my favorite although I loved everything! Heart of palm too. For the desert pizza we loved the pina colada with pineapple and the white/milk chocolate as well as the coconut. And the Nutella strawberry. It's hard to pick a favorite! My daughter loved her fresh passion fruit drink. The restaurant is very stylish and perfectly lit for evening, they also have a back room for large parties. Our waiter Lucas was incredibly nice and is from the same hometown as my daughter's father. We definitely will be back for chicken stroganoff and coxinhas!

Went tonight. Far more impressed than I expected. Lots of unique Brazilian flavors. Dessert ones were really good. Know a guy who owns 6 places like this but think their concept is better. Price was good and service was excellent. Como um cara Que esta fingindo que ele e’ um Brasileiro pode que confiar enmigo - and my grammar still sucks after 26 years since I left. Not sure I’ll have reason to go back to Damascus but maybe. Also RIP Leo Campuon who knew him. He was Damascus to me as a kid.

Tasty Brazilian food, nice place. Service could definitely be better, (considering there were only two tables/3 clients on a Saturday, around 3pm, we were expecting more from the staff). Even with the low level of service, I would return and recommend it.

If you've never had Brazilian pizza, this is what you're missing. This pizzeria is the only Brazilian pizzeria in the US that I know it lives up to the Brazilian pizza reputation. Yes, it's gourmet so the price reflects that, but it's definitely worth it. If this place does not receive 5 stars every time it's only because there too much toppings on their pizza. The pizza was awesome, filled with toppings and taste. I'm also a person that never goes to a pizzeria to eat only 2 pieces of pizza and today was the first time this happened. I was seriously shocked when my brother said I wouldn't be able eat the whole pizza, but it happened, I was only able to eat 2 pieces of pizza, one of each type. Marcelle and Luciano have created a wonderful menu and wonderful pizza. Now I really must keep my promise to my wife and bring her here on the rodizio night on our next visit, that's an all you can eat Brazilian style night. Obs. It's not just pizza, they have a whole lot of other Brazilian delicacies and if course steak.

What a wonderful night! The pizza was absolutely delicious – one of the best we’ve had in a long time. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the service. Our server was incredibly attentive, cheerful, and thoughtful. Isabelle patiently walked us through the menu, suggested the perfect drinks to pair with our food, and made sure everything was just right. Her positive energy added so much to our evening. We left with full stomachs and big smiles. Highly recommend this place for a great night out!

“ what missed opportunity “. Look forward for weeks to try this place out. Waited to be seated, even though the only two tables they had, had already finished eating. We were asked twice if we had reservations, at 3 pm in an empty restaurant. Finally, the host walked us back to our seats. No greeting from the waiter, he just dropped of the QR menu sign. We made our choices but no one to give order to. Finally, waiter comes, seemed bothered. So we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 guarana’s. We decided it was not worth our time to go ahead and order entrees. We lost interest at this point. Our check included a 20% gratuity, which is fine since we will not be back. Better luck to the rest of your clients. Yes. Appetizers were good.

The food was decent, but that does not excuse an experience defined by forced charges and a complete lack of transparency. A mandatory 20% gratuity was added automatically — not only on the food, but on taxes as well, and even on a take-out pizza, which is hard to justify. On top of that, I was charged an additional fee simply for paying with a credit card. None of this was clearly disclosed before ordering. This wasn’t a choice — it was imposed. And to be clear, this is not about the money. It’s about how customers are treated. When fees are quietly pushed onto a bill without upfront notice, it doesn’t feel like service — it feels deceptive. You can serve good food and still lose trust. Walking out feeling taken advantage of completely overshadows the meal. Transparency should be the bare minimum. Unfortunately, it wasn’t here.

Such an amazing gem in Maryland! Came here with a group of friends and everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was great! This spot was suggested for us to check out by our friends who are Brazilian. Everything was delicious! For appetizers we tried the Bolinho de Arroz and Coxinha, and for entrees we had the Picanha na Chapa and the Frango & Catupiry pizza. Dessert as well, but forgot the name... The standout for us was the Picanha!!! That steak and all of its sides were all truly delicious! The yuca melts in your mouth. Portion size is enough for two people for sure. Plenty of parking in the lot next to the restaurant and they accommodated a group of 8 with no issues. Service was top notch! Our server was attentive, patient when we asked questions about the menu, and even split the bill per couple with no issues. Still thinking about that picanha steak...we'll be back!

I bought a Groupon to enjoy the unlimited rodizio on wednesdays from 6-8. The price for it is like 20 bucks for two people! Amazing deal for unlimited pizza. The taste of every pizza is delicious. Very worth it. One thing tho, they made me pay 20% of tip even tho they didn't check on us enough and gave slices to pizza to other tables but not to us... I wasn't happy when they included automatically the 20% not even without asking. The place is very small so be ready to be in a little crowed place...

When we walked in, it was exciting with the lively music and atmosphere. I love Brazilian food. It was unusual being half casual half formal it had pizzas and steaks on the menu. I started with a pineapple cocktail $16 it was refreshing and good and got my son a pineapple juice not knowing it was $10 they have a way of not explaining or managing expectations. The sizzling plate of steak and fries was more like a main course but it was an appetizer. We asked for some ketchup for the kiddo and it took a while but eventually it came. We also had the salted picanha and pepperoni pizzas they were decent and we were full at this point. Then came the check, the server told us the gratuity was automatically added without showing me the itemized check, just the computer in his hand, he was very slick in handling that and printed after I paid, the check showed all the extra costs of the ketchup $0.50 and hotsauce $0.50. First time in America I was charged $0.50 for ketchup. I wanted to give it 5 stars for the food but these calculated charges are not typical it reminded me of the rip off Brazilian restaurant in time square NYC. Gratuity is subjective and if I was given exception service I would probably give 20% but not up restaurant to dictate what I should pay! I wonder if they treat all customers these or only non-Brazilians because a good majority are Brazilians. I think the restaurant should be more transparent to better manage expectations. I enjoyed eating there but hesitate to go back.

We decided to try this place for Valentine's Day dinner, which, in hindsight, might have been a mistake. The restaurant was packed, as expected, but the service definitely suffered. It was a bit frustrating, to be honest. We had to ask for water at least three or four times, and each time we were told it was 'coming right up.' It took quite a while, which was a very disappointing start to the meal On the bright side, the food itself was quite good. The chef's combo steak was a highlight - perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a really delicious flavor. The sides that came with it were also very tasty and well-prepared. The calabresa pizza, while flavorful, was a bit on the heavy side. It was a bit too much for me, but someone with a preference for heavier pizzas might enjoy it more. The atmosphere was okay. The interior is dimly lit, which creates a cozy ambiance, but it also made it a bit difficult to see the menu. They have a mix of seating, with tables for both large and small groups. However, when the restaurant is busy, it gets quite noisy and crowded, making it hard to have a conversation. Overall, I'd say it's not a bad place to eat, especially if you're looking for a good steak. I'd definitely recommend avoiding it on holidays or other busy nights. The lackluster service really put a damper on our Valentine's Day experience. If you go on a less busy night, you'll probably have a much better time. Free parking lot.

Had Pizza so far. Close to our house and next to probably our favorite in Damascus, Hornets Nest. We'll run and popular.

A real gem in Damascus much closer that we thought! We heard about their pizza but of course we had to try the meat which was exactly as good as we expected. Loved that they have a whole room full of pub height tables for our party of 10 and the service was knowledgeable and friendly. So 50 pizza choices....hmmm luckily we were there with people who knew what they were doing but after trying a couple different ones I can tell you they are all good. Fried pork belly and fried yucca were amazing. I was also introduced to a diet soda that tasted as good as any full sugar I can't pronounce band but I'll post pick. Lastly safe a little room for sweet pizza we had the fererro rocher Nutella and strawberry r u kidding me? We going back to try more pizza asap and please forgive the pics with food already eaten we couldn't help ourselves before I could snap a pic!

I used to live in Brazil and I love that I can get authentic Brazilian pizza here in Maryland! Ambiance is cozy and service has always been good to us. The only downside is it's so hard to get in on a Wednesday night for the pizza Rodízio. They should consider expanding or opening another location (hint hint- Frederick) ha.

Food is okay but not great. Prices are above average but atmosphere is nice. I d not mind coming back and try a different dish.

What a surprise in Damascus, MD -wow The steak was perfect - salmon ? Middle of runway - what did you expect ? Definitely recommend this place - expect o wait a bit - just like S America, but drink your Malbec and enjoy the food once it arrive Over

Came at 1:30 pm on a Saturday,took 5 mins to get seated when there is no one there. Waiter took 10 mins to get my order. Placed a pizza and steak. 25 mins later the pizza came, waited another 10 mins thinking the steak will come. Looked at the waiter and he came and confronted me saying what do i need because all your food came. I told him i am still waiting for my steak and he was like what steak. I immediately asked for the check and guess what he charged me 20% tip. Never coming back to this place again.

We didn't know if we'd like Brazilian pizza, in fact the wife hadn't heard of them as a concept until I mentioned it to her a few days before. But with one in the next town over? What's is there to lose? Very friendly staff! It seems to be a family run business. We couldn't have asked for better service. If we needed anything explained our server was happy to do so. We had the cheese croquettes (wonderful) The yucca fries (like potato fries but slightly sweeter, but again wonderful) And two Brazilian style pizzas. The Brazilian style cheese added a great umami flavour. I guess I love Brazilian style pizza! Oh gotta say we had a huge table to ourselves. No being cramped into a corner here! The music could have done with less bass, but it wasn't that intrusive. We'll be back!

All you can eat pizza on Wednesdays is the bomb! Worth the drive from Baltimore for sure. I love how they slice the pizza small so you can try more flavors. I also tried the passion fruit drink- super yummy!! Service was on point there was always another pizza coming. The restaurant is decorated nicely and I had no qualms. Definitely would come again! Parking in the back.

I'd be down for giving their pizza a other go. We were starving when we ordered so the first slice was fantastic. But after the hunger was curbed i thought the flavor was just so-so. What we got: Baiana pizza - 3.5 pretty good but flavor got old fast. Strawberry Lemonade - 5* but waaaaay too expensive. Churros com Nutella - 5* very delicious. The churros are on the smaller side so the 6 pieces you get are more like 3 normal sized pieces just cut in half lengthwise.

Unique pizza option in Damascus! Both pizzas we tried were delicious. The baiana was a little too spicy for me but the Margherita Pesto was just what I needed! Call ahead for takeout orders!

Ordered online and picked up in store. Staff was nice and pleasant and there was a good vibe there perfect for any gathering or a trip solo. The food was to left anyone speechless, so so so good will recommend it to all my friends. That was authentic brazilian pizza.

This was our first visit and we loved it. We loved everything about it, perhaps aside from the open door to the outdoors on a cool evening. The extensive, imaginative menu was most impressive. Three of us each ordered a personal, new-to-us gourmet pizza. Service was prompt and supremely professional (Natalya could give lessons to anyone in the restaurant industry), and the food was outstanding. We definitely plan to come back.

The service really went down hill here. I really enjoyed their pizza, but for as expensive as they are I would expect them to be a little nicer. It started with the host, the guy talked down to us. I said we had reservations, before I could say anything else, he said you think you have reservations? Then when our pizza came, which took about an hour, we noticed our pizza was cold. When I brought it up to the waitress, the second time she said that happens sometimes. It was a $46 pizza. Then they brought the bill I asked for another drink and I was told that another party is waiting for this table.

BEST brazilian food I've had here in America. it reminds me of how good our Brazilian culinary really is. The whole experience is something to always remember and hope for. After exploiting some other places, we come here filled with expectations that were never disappointed. Very welcoming and it pleases me to know that we come to receive a combination of great service, great food and great atmosphere. We for sure enter the place one way and leave just as we had receive that big old warm hug we were expecting from our Brazilian fellas. Oh, and surely the menu serves EVERYONE well which is a big plus, since they have such a rich variety in appetizers, entres AND awesome deserts. Love you guys! thank you for your radiant work, it makes a difference.

Excellent service and unique flavors with all the dishes. Tried the margarita, four cheese pizza and steak dish. And don't forget the polenta! We ate so quick, no pics...will share next time . Wonderful date night location or for the family visit. Cannot wait to come in the summer to sit outside.

Wow we just tried Brazil Gourmet Pizzeria & Grill and the food is amazing. The restaurant is clean, the decor is trendy and inviting, and the service was excellent. We went on Wednesday night and it was not even crowded, which was a surprise to us. But we decided to try the food. First we ordered the croquettes or otherwise known as Bolinho de Mandioca com Carne Seca as an appetizer. This dish was very delicious--made fresh and the cream sauce topped off the croquettes. Then my husband ordered the all-you-can-eat pizza for $25. He enjoyed the different types of pizzas he tried that he couldn't pick just one. I ordered Camarão à Moda da Casa which is shrimp in a white wine sauce with mashed potatoes, white rice and pico de gallo, and it was delicious! I highly recommend this dish if you're a shrimp lover and the mashed potatoes were very creamy. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries. It wasn't the traditional kids chicken tender and fries. It was topped with a little bit of parsley and Parmesan cheese. My 7 year old said "it's the best chicken nuggets he's ever had." That's saying a lot for a 7 year old! Then for dessert, we ended up ordering the churros with dulce de leche because we wanted the "full dining experience." This is what topped off our entire dining experience and made it enjoyable. The churros were fresh baked and warm, soft on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. Then the dulce de leche caramel sauce was made fresh too. One of the best made churros I've had in awhile. I can't say enough good things about this place and hope it stays around for many more years. Lots of outdoor seating for people watching on the Main Street of Damascus too. Definitely a must try.

It was my first experience and I was truly excited about the Brazilian Gourmet pizza especially after spending time in Brazil. My colleague who is Brazilian spoke very highly and my experience was extremely disappointing. We arrive and no one was in the restaurant and they took us to the table closet to the bathroom with two high tops in front of us. I asked the server did they have a variety as I did not eat beef or pork for the all you can eat pizza. He told me yes plenty variety. If I received 4 tiny slices which equated to 1-1/2 piece of pizza and I'm being kind for the $30 was ridiculous. The servers constantly walked past us and probably could not hear us due to the music. It was very disappointing I got a one veggie and 2 chicken and one slice which they thought was chicken but it was beef. We told our server and nothing was resolved. Our total bill was over $100 for pizza 1 drink each and a shared salad. The taste of the pizza was mediocre I have had a lot better so I must say this place is not on my return list and I would never recommend the Brazil Gourmet Pizzeria to any friends or family.

Before moving here, someone suggested that this place had some of the best pizza. I was interested, especially since I've never had Brazilian food. After looking over the menu, there were several things that were similar to Portuguese dishes. Hubs and I went on a Saturday night. They're located right on Main St. But there's a parking lot right next to it. We walked in and were able to be seated right away. When walking in, it appears to be a pretty small spot with about 6 tables. However, there's a whole other room with tables on the other side as well. During the warmer months, I believe they had outdoor seating, but this time around, only indoor seating is available. Service was great. We were greeted and our drink orders were taken quickly. They had QRs to scan at the table. We asked several questions about menu items and were offered a few suggestions. Hubs ordered beer and I had a passionfruit drink CaipiVinho de Maracujá, which was pretty delicious. I'm also biased because I love anything passionfruit! I was really eager to try the bolinho de bacalhau, because this is something my dad makes; unfortunately they were out. So our server suggested a popular item- coxinha, which is chicken croquettes. I wasn't really a fan. Tbh, the sauce is what made them. So next time, I'll just try different appetizers. They were also a little pricey, but there was a good amount. We decided to split a pizza. We wanted to do half and half, but of course the one we choose only comes as a whole pizza. So we opted for that and got the Baina, which had Brazilian sausage, onions, and sweet peppers. It was delicious. I love the combination of the sausage and onions, and the crust was just perfect. I really wanted to try the Nutella pizza for dessert, but I was pretty full. So we opted for the churros with Nutella, and I ordered the brigadeiro. The churros were AMAZING! The brigadeiro had a very delicious taste, but I'm used to them being served in the shape of balls. I ended up taking it home and enjoying it with the family. I will definitely stop by again and try some other items on the menu. They seem to have great entrees outside of pizza as well. Also, 18% gratuity is already included on your bill.

Overall really great experience. The steak was just a tad bit salty for me but when mixed with everything it tasted fine. Service was very good. We were offered the Bolinho de Arroz and we loved it! We will definitely return and this time try some of their pizza.

Stumbled upon this spot next door to Hornets Nest Grill on the All You Can Eat Pizza Night (Wed). Of course we are going to accept any foodie challenge so we caved... and prayed we would stay awake long enough to make it home with the carb and cheese and meat overload. You get both savory and sweet options and there are oh so many on the menu. The restaurant is rather new, and I'm a sucker for an American Dream backstory. How can you not love this place. They import the cheese from Brazil, take pride on the authenticity of each guests experience, and the flavors are amazing. You can taste the pride baked into each slice. I wanted to eat more and drink more, but I'll just have to make another trip out. The caipivinho de limao is like the more mellow cousin of a margarita. Good selection of local craft beers and nice wine selection. Very glad we stopped in.

Food, service and ambiance are all 5 star worthy. We love the rice croquettes, picanha and of course the pizzas. The churros are some of the best I've had! I do wish they had smaller tables in the back room - my friends and I love the ambiance back there but its typically saved for large parties given the table sizes. They've been accommodating and let us sit back there but we always have to ask and end up getting squeezed in. Overall I love having this place close to home!

We had so much good expectations for this place and was a bit disappointed. The pizza oven is small and can't handle the orders in a tamely manner. Waited about 45 minutes for a pizza. Taste for the chicken and shrimp pizza as border line insipid and lacked balanced seasoning. The oven may have been too hot because the pizza had nice color but the toppings were still cold from the refrigerated toppings area. Couldn't finish the couple slices in the plate and taking home to see if if can be saved. Hopefully in the future they address these small issues so to make their business more successful and give it longevity.

This place is really Good! Very family oriented and great spot to hang out. The food is flavorful and the employees here are very welcoming. Overall really great experience. Try their Brazilian Lemonade. Its the best one in town (Sorry did not get a picture of it).

Prettiest nice place to dine in and probably most modern restaurant in Damascus. The pizza is also pretty good (that's all I had) and the customer service is great!

Had the Lisboa flatbread pizza this time. Very tasty. The food didn't disappoint. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly. A lovely place. Will go again.

Would have been a 5 if it weren't for their terrible seating policy. This is a mixed review. Let me start by saying we loveeeee this place. Food is amazing. Great ambiance, everything. I tell everyone about it. Love the pizza nights for the kids on the Wednesdays as well. This is what leads me to the negative. My small family of 4 got there at 6:20 on a Wednesday night. Kids were super excited. They wouldn't seat us. Place was virtually EMPTY. They said that all their tables were booked starting at 7. Worst part, we walked next door to Hornets Nest, had dinner, paid and walked back past and they still had empty tables. What place on earth leaves empty tables for 40 mins...horrible management.

Finally had the opportunity to check out a gem that opened in Damascus! Living in a small town family owned business town it's hard to find any place open to eat after 7:00pm. Thankfully the hours at grill are sensible and I was able to order. The restaurant is so charming, staff is beyond kind. When I was handed the boxes of pizza I was in heaven as I could smell the fresh ingredients. My husband and I loved the crust, the sauce was full of flavor. The pizzas were loaded! Only complaint I have is against myself for not trying this place sooner! Very thankful to have a great restaurant opened in our sleepy town. We will be back soon!

Loved the ambiance and they had live music on the Thursday night we went, which I always enjoy. Food was good and had options for my children that they all ate. Would come back again. Giving 4 stars only because I am fairly stingy on giving out 5 stars unless everything blew me away and while food was good it didn't blow me away.

This place is a hidden gem especially with its Groupon! The service is very friendly and the food is so good! We grabbed some takeout for a big road trip and there was no better way to start. We had the best frango a passarinho aka Brazilian style chicken wings that I've had! The dipping sauce paired perfectly. We also had some very good coxinha (fried soft dough stuffed with seasoned shredded chicken, you can never go wrong) and mozzarella balls which we made a variation of Romeo e Julietta asking for their strawberry sauce. And then the star of the show was the moqueca (A Brazilian fish stew made with coconut milk) it was different from any we have ever had with no olives or any real dende flavor, I do love those classic aspects of the dish but I did not miss it because the biquinho (sweet cherry peppers) added such a unique touch to the creaminess and on top of that they made it with salmon! This was a unique dish that I'm very excited to come back for. However, on my next trip I think we will dive in on the Tuesday/Wednesday all you can eat pizza. There must be at least 30 different flavors to try wow! I've been fantasizing about it way too much lol

Wednesday is all you can eat pizza where they bring different kinds of pizza around to your table and you choose what you want. Kids 8-?? Are half off. You can even sit outside for this service. We tried a bunch of kinds which are not your typical American pizza. They also have amazing dessert pizza like one with banana and cinnamon, Nutella and strawberry, and a pina colada. It's super filling, a good deal, and super nice service. Ask for the drink menu and try the cashew mocktail. All servers seemed to speak Portuguese and English.

Hands down the only place worth getting Pizza in Damascus. I was hesitant at first because they are new, and the rest of the pizza in the area is nothing short of abysmal. But I was extremely impressed. The Broclini pizza was outstanding, I got it because I thought my Wife would enjoy, but I loved it as well. I wish we got two. We ordered take out, and will do again for sure, I'm looking forward to going in to eat in the near future as well.

Some amazing food in our small town. Always looks busy. Def a meat and potatoes type of menu with some fun pizzas. A little in the pricey side but delicious.

Nice place, the Brazilian style pizza is amazing . I really liked I recommend definitely!

Súper slow service. Burnt pizza and too big for one person. Waiter should have indicated size when we ordered two pizzas for two people. With soft drinks and an appetizer it was _$90+. The Quipe appetizer was very good, other than that not worth the trip.

The food was amazing. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I recommended to a friend who also had rave reviews.

Not only is the food fantastic the service is amazing. They have live music and all you can eat nights as well. Get the catupiry and thank me later
