Brazilian Market NYC

Brazilian Market is unique even amidst the retail diversity of NYC. No other brick-and-mortar store specializes in Brazilian food, both fresh and packaged. It’s a treat even just to look at all the items neatly arranged on the shelves.

I am not a Brazilian food expert, but I was surprised to find this place in the upper east side 77th street. Is full of think to snack on. I would give another star just for the enthusiastic owners. Support the local stores.

The BEST Pão de queijo!! Pricy but so worth it. The cashier was also really nice and super helpful.

A fully stocked Brazilian food shop! Thery have frozen salgadinhos, Brazilian sweets, mandioca flour even a freezer case with meat for feijoada. This saves me a trip to the Brazilian suppliers in Queens or Newark. It is truly a neighborhood asset!

This place is a gem, one of those reminders of why you live in NYC. A small selection of products & prepared foods cooked on the premises and it smelled amazing as they were making them. I tried their croquette & it was so delicious. What a lovely place

Brazilian Market NYC has been on my to go list. My health club friends are always talking about the cheese puffs. One family I'm friends with is from Brazil and she has been shopping here a lot. I wasn't aware that the items were refrigerated and the cheese puffs need to be heated. I was going to the farmers market so I didn't want to carry items that need to be refrigerated in the heat and humidity today. There's lots of tempting foods and the owner was so gracious telling me about the business and showing me the various items around the store. My maternal grandmother was born in Brazil so I must have an inborn desire to learn about the culture and try the food. No matter what your heritage, this store is beautiful and has a lot to offer at reasonable prices. I'm recommending to you and I'll be back carrying my cooler bag!

New Brazilian small grocery store on UES! I'm a big fan of the Brazilian pao de queijo. I got some frozen ones at this store. It's a small and cozy store up a few stairs. You can't miss the yellow awning and some t-shirts with the Brazilian flag on it. They sell frozen goods (including pao de queijo and empanadas), soft drinks, candy, chocolate and merch. Staff is friendly. Worth a look. Only takes 5 minutes to browse.

Love this place, it's my favorite! I'm always coming here to buy the guaraná soda and pão de queijo dough. It's a small shop but they've got so much to offer. From specialty flours, snacks, frozen meats, brazilian soccer jerseys, hair products, soaps, everything! The staff is so nice and welcoming, they make the place incredibly inviting. Would highly recommend coming in and checking this place out! A slice of brazil on the upper east side, so happy this place opened.

As a Brazilian living in the UES, this place has it all! Even picanha and pão de queijo. Truly a treat to have this place so close in an area like the UES. Also the people there are extremely friendly. Highly recommend!!!
