Brazilian Spices Steakhouse - Bar - Pizzeria

We came looking for Brazilian pizza and were very satisfied! The place was empty when we first came in, we thought it was odd because they were working hard - making pizzas, grilling and roasting meat, etc. A couple of people trickled in and then a few more groups came after and it got super busy. Our pizza was delicious, with the flavors from our home country, and everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food. Good portions, homemade quality. Oh and Polly is great at making caipirinhas, and you just could not beat the happy hour prices!! Over all we left very pleased and hope to come back!

I rarely give poor reviews but I just couldn’t eat the penne with vodka sauce. It was way overcooked to the point where the penne doesn’t hold its shape. The sauce was very watery and bland. So basically just had a wet sloppy takeout

We celebrated my friend’s birthday today here, and it was an amazing experience. The food was just perfect seasoning and the meat was cooked exact as we asked. The service surprise us, as they worked above and beyond to please our guests. Matheus was our server and he was amazing. I am so happy and I will be back. Thank you so much.

Honestly a bit shocked at all the bad reviews. This food was amazing! Great portion and great taste hands down one of the best fettuccini Alfredo pastas I have ever had and a good portion of shrimp. We ordered 5 different items and everyone was happy with their dinner very tasty food!

I ordered food through Uber Eats the plate cost 20 dollars each the presentation was poor. The meat was like mini mini steak and the food was like 10 dollar food, also orders 2 large pizza and wasn’t delivered either. Very disappointing

Ordered from here via Uber eats. Buy 1 get one free and only got 1 meal. Called to let them know and they blamed uber eats. To be honest, im glad they robbed me, food was terrible, sausage burnt, meats were all fat and with spices a part of their name you'd think the food would have flavor at least. Terrible.

Yesterday, my friends and I from our church’s men’s group had the pleasure of dining at my good buddy Gui’s Brazilian Rodízio and Pizza restaurant in North Arlington. The experience was absolutely phenomenal. The food was incredible and the appetizers were a perfect start to the meal. The service truly stood out. Despite our large party of nearly 20 hungry men, the staff handled everything with ease. They were consistent with drinks, accommodating to our needs, and made sure everyone left satisfied. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We came back today and both Renata and Claudia were absolutely amazing once again. They were extremely attentive and we feel at home as always. We celebrated my father's birthday here and we were warmly welcomed. He had the short ribs which are amazing and the portions here are so so good. They have amazing prices, very affordable for good picanha. However, our favorite is the service we receive here every time we visit.

We found this spot while driving through North Arlington on a Saturday night, and SO glad we did! This review is overdue from a few weeks ago, so I apologize for forgetting the names of the outstanding servers who took care of us. It's a fairly large space with a beautiful skylight above the center of the dining area. Seated in the middle, we could see the rodizio post and the pizza oven. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza, breaded steak, fetttucine Alfredo with chicken, and the rodizio. Everything was DELICIOUS (including the sides) and we will DEFINITELY be going back!!! KUDOS!!!

(At this specific slab of real estate in the corner of a little shopping center - many moons ago - was the almighty Michael (Mama) Angelo's Restaurant. And their 'Old Fashioned Square' pizza still ranks in my "Top 10 Pizza of All Time" list.) Cut to the present... and now the menu consists of pizzas with condensed milk (?!) or hearts of palm (?!) or catupiry (?!) - making it clear that there's a new sheriff in town. Our first visit was a few years back and while the (standard/plain) pizza got dinged as "above-average frozen pizza" their 'Salata de Frango' was a big hit with the Mrs. It's been a minute (well, three years) so we decided to give them another whirl. The official verdict: Pizza (both visits) - 2-stars Unfortunately every cardinal sin was committed - undercooked, disappointing crust, barely any flavor, you name it. (The only 'good' thing to report: the absurdly large box they used to house my average-sized pizza... they definitely fooled me!) Salad (first visit)... 5-stars Garlic shrimp app (second visit)... 4-stars Restaurant looks nice. Friendly staff. Full bar. I don't see myself coming back anytime soon but if/when - I'd skip the pizza, that's for sure. (Rubbing elbows with Brazilian Spices here include neighbors Sam's Bagels and Mykonos Restaurant - two places definitely worth a visit, for sure.)

Absolutely disappointing. We waited over an hour, and still no food. Meanwhile, multiple tables that were seated after us got their meals and were even served bread--we didn't get so much as a crumb. We brought it up to the staff and got no real response, no apology, no explanation. Just ignored. At a steakhouse, you expect good food and good service. We got neither. We ended up walking out hungry and frustrated. Definitely won't be back--and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I understand inflation etc but this is lame. portions are toddler size for the price!!!! last time I'll order from here

Food was great,service was bad and the guy had the audacity to give himself a20% tip for great service I still gave it to him but let him know service was anything but great he moved on like I wasn't even there.Probably will still go again but that tipping themselves on 2 people dining ain't happening again.

Stopped by with the family for some rodízio today and this place was on point. From the food to the service it was extraordinary. The rodízio meats came just the way I asked my son doesn't eat rodízio he had chicken with pasta and that was also great as well as my wife's shrimp. The place stays authentic to Brazilian cuisine. And a special thanks to Leo for making the experience great. Will definetly be returning and recommending to family and friends.

Cooked 16 pies for my staff and they want this all the time now!!! The pizzas reheat beautifully - thin crust, excellent flavor. Highly recommend!

1st time trying this new, local Rodizio restaurant. I was hesitant being it was a "Pizza and BBQ" place, but wow... It was top notch. First of all, it's BYOB. So feel free to bring that sangria with you. My wife and I got the Rodizio. It was excellent. The server was absolutely phenomenal, joking around with us and beyond friendly. The hostess was great. Extremely polite, and periodically stopping by to check on us. Keep in mind, the place was fairly crowded, so they were on point with every table in my opinion. So with the typical Rodizio, food quality was excellent. Plus you pick any sides you want, and they are unlimited as well (we didn't make it past 1 plate of sides, but the option was there) and we had rice, beans and collard greens. The grand finale was the pineapple at the end. Fantastic. If you're in NA, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

BBQ Mixed Meats 2 people has great variety and includes great sides such as macaroni salad, black beans stew, rice and fries Always delicious and flavorful Black Beans Stew/Feijoada with pork and smoked sausage which is only available over the weekend but definitely worth it. Will look to try other options on the menu. Recently same item ordered not the same as before so not sure why the change in size of container and portion and consistency. When it is good, it is delicious. Also, confusion with what extra collard greens would cost after ordering half a dozen times.

Wow!!! Just recently moved to the area and this was our first North Arlington food spot. I ordered the onion steak that comes with rice, beans, and fries. I was shocked at the portion, at first I thought it was a little high in price but the portion and overall taste justifies it! Friendly staff too. Will be returning to try out more dishes!

The chicken catupiry pizza is an absolute must have! So nice to have such a unique kinda pizza place this nearby.

UPDATING MY REVIEW AFTER 1 1/2 years of ordering from them. First, I just want to say that in terms of their actual food I would give it a 4-5 stars. I'm not sure what happened to them but for the past few months we have noticed some major downfalls in many areas. Not sure if management has changed but last time that i went to pick up food, the manager looked very stressed and was on his phone for the whole time that I was there. I also want to state that between my parents, my in-laws, and us we order from them at least 6 times per week. My 2 stars review are based on the following: - Delivery is now taking 1.5-2 hours (in NA!!!) - Food always arrives cold - Portions are not consistent (we typically order the same things) They need a better standardized system. - Also no standardized recipes, they definitely have multiple chefs and it's either really good or not great. - Order mess ups are happening way too often. It really makes me sad to have to downgrade my review as I really do love this restaurant but they need to make some changes! I will update my review if things improve.

Decent food. Very slow service and forgot to bring the shrimp out. Took 30 mins to get the missing shrimp. 35 mins to get the check.

I found out a North Arlington location was opened and decided to give it a shot. I'll get right to it. The flavors of the food are pretty good. But the Picanha is cut so thin that it is impossible to get it medium rare (how I ordered it.) I ordered online and the order was 45-50 mins. I finally received my food 1hr 50 mins later. They might've gotten an extra half star had they arrived on time, but that's about it. Nothing stellar about this place, but it's an available option if you're starving yet patient. ENJOY!!!

i've absolutely never had a good experience here. they have decent food but the service is one of the worst i've seen. Waiters aren't equipped to answer questions about the menu. all of my tables food didn't come out in time, therefore some of our food got cold while waiting. We ordered drinks (aka soda) and they didn't arrive until after our food came out. The waiter never came back to see if we were doing ok until our food was basically done. absolutely terrible customer service experience, don't go unless you want to be annoyed.

Brand new place and a welcome addition to the area. We tried the pizza and rodizio. Pizza was crispy and had plenty of stuff on it. Not the skimpy kind of pizza you get in other places. Rodizio was so much food! All expertly prepared meats by their gaucho on the bbq pit. Can't wait to come back and try other flavors of pizza. There were over 30 of them on the menu!

STAY AWAY! We ordered for delivery. Food showed up 2 hours later, chicken was raw, the sweet plaintains were horribly hard and the salad was like rabbit food without the dressing requested. Ribs were poor quality. Food is extremely pricey for the poor quality. They need to get a new cook and should be quality controlling food before delivering. Spoke to manager and she offered a $15 credit on an $80.00 bill. Totally disappointed.

We have been ordering food from the NA location since they opened, and the quality has deteriorated dramatically; last time we ordered the food that came in was reheated an dry ...sadly they don't compare to the Kearny location. Will not order from them again

Was looking for a place to order pizza and came across this location that also offered meat choices. Decided to take a chance and order from the meat entrees and was very happy. For $15.95, I was able to get a full plates with of rice, beans and 6 different types of meat, sausage and chicken. All flavored well. It felt like I was eating at a Rodizio with the tastes. They offer meals for one, two, three and four people. So give it a try. Delivery was quick and they only charged a $1.00 delivery fee. Food arrived nice and hot and lasted me for 2 days. You definitely get your money's worth here.

Paid paid $33 for 2 meals which was way over priced or way under portioned. The metal container was filled with rice, half of a sausage like someone ate the other half, a piece of chicken the size of a golf ball and maybe 2oz's of steak. I don't even want to get started with my shrimp order. I hope this is enough of a review that they reconsider what there doing over there. Would never order again.

Love the pizza! Tastes so great! Their pizza and pasta rodizio is awesome and a great place to take the family or friends on a Wednesday night to help get through the week. Staff is very attentive. You have to try the sweet pizzas!

I prefer to try mixed meats when I go to a Brazilian restaurant. We always ordered the Churrasco Misto for 2 people and all the meats are very tasty. We ordered a kids plain pizza for our 3 yr old daughter, she liked it but mom n dad not so much, it needed more sauce. Some of the menu item prices are a bit of a price shock but the ones for groups are decently priced if your splitting the bill. Service is a bit slow but they are a new business so hopefully that improves with time.

Delicious! As an American born Brazilian, this restaurant has authentic Brazilian flavors with a warm and welcoming environment. Definitely would recommend.

I've been here twice now. This time was with my wife and 2 teenage kids. They loved the steak for 2. My wife really enjoyed a half rack of ribs. Me, I chose the rodizio. The 2 times I've been here, the food and service were outstanding. The rodizio is by far my favorite dining experience. I can't wait to come back.

My sister and I had lunch today. We each had a different pizza........DELICIOUS. Our favorite pizza place for many many years has now been replaced. I hope this place "catches on" because we intend to visit often. The two young ladies that worked there as servers were delightful and helpful.

The best Brazilian food in the area. I used to buy from them in the other location, but I gotta confess that this new place is much better. The restaurant itself is beautiful and big enough for you to come with a large group and even for special events. Yesterday we order their pizza for the first time. It tasted so good, it actually brought me good memories from my childhood back in my country! Everything is delicious and taste very fresh! Must try it

Ordered here from UberEats last night, the Picadinho de Carne which comes with rice, beans, and French fries. I received NO beans or French fries and the restaurant will not do anything to amend the situation. Apparently it's our fault for ordering at a busy time? This place sucks, I could not even understand who the person I spoke to on the phone was and they hung up one me. Honestly, rather drive to Newark to get Brazilian food then deal with receiving half my order and then being blamed for it.

I ordered off of GrubHub, and I am trying to edit my original review to be FIVE stars. Grubhub never picked up my order, but the restaurant went out of their way to deliver it. I am very thankful for their awesome customer service, and the food is always amazing.

Love their pizza! Great variety and reasonable prices, definitely worth the way (delivery). I used to eat in (pre covid-19) and always had a great experience. Truly authentic Brazilian food with a great smile from the friendly staff. Go ahead and give it a try!

Went last night for a second time.. was a light night maybe two tables. Man has the service gone done considerably. It took 45 minutes for appetizers!! And not one person even cared that it was taking that long. Unfortunately that was not ok and we left. And sure enough, staff didn't care. Never going again, complete 180 from when they opened.

I loved the decor inside. It was nice and modern, not what I expected from the outside. The menu has a pretty nice selection. The servers were friendly but unprepared to answer what we thought were easy questions. The waiter asked if we wanted coffee while we were still eating. We asked him to hold off but he eventually brought it while our food was still on the table. Neither of us loved what we had. There was a man playing guitar and singing in Portuguese which was enjoyable. We probably won't go back.

I want to start off and say I never write a bad review and was excited to try this new spot in our town; follow them on social and food looks great, however, if I could give zero stars I would. Friday 3/1, call ahead to ask if they are BYOB, woman on the phone asks "you need reservation?" This should of been a Red flag; we sit down at 730pm, wobbly table and no menus handed. Girl comes speaking in Spanish and has no clue what we need. Luckily, she opened the wine; 10 minutes later I have to get up and ask for a menu; waiter with tattoos very nice brings the special menu over and fixes wobbly table while everyone else working there waits all the other tables with water, their orders their rodizio etc. 745pm still no one to take our order and our told just raise your hand if you need something, yeah fat chance. You go out to be waited and by the looks of it everyone else was being serviced. 750pm table behind us arrives after us and gets VIP treatment with their menus and place order. 805pm that table gets their salad and my wife and I stillllll have NO ORDER TAKEN! 810pm I get up and complain to whoever was in charge and left...good luck in this town with this TERRIBLE service!

They recently opened a location in North Arlington which I was very excited about. When I walked in I was impressed by the restaurant, unfortunately that was the only thing I was impressed about. They advertise that they have Rodizo yet on the Wednesday I went they said they were not serving the normal Rodizo with meats, only pasta and pizza Rodizo. I then asked if I could just get Picanha and the waitress told me "no". Regrettably I picked shrimp and garlic for my appetizer which was very bland and watery. I got the bacalhau a braz for my entree which was horrible. It was all egg and had no flavor. The service was horrible, I asked for water about 5 times. I will never go back.

The waiter sat us down and stood by our side while we were looking at menu. We had to tell her to leave the table and we will call you when ready. The wait staff not understand English they gave us another tables food my daughter ate from 2 of the dishes and they just removed from our table and gave to other table which is not hygienic. Imagine what goes on in the kitchen secondly I ordered grilled shrimp and they brought me grilled salmon also the man who cut meat on stick a sausage flew off and hit a diner in the chest. The steak for 2 we ordered was actually a small fatty piece of beef so we just got up and ran for the hills !

This is a rodizio as well as a steak house so if you're an animal rights advocate, keep walking. They respect meat lovers and take their steaks seriously. They have a real chef. They offer an unlimited sirloin package. To those that know rodizio, yes I said sirloin. And they make good pizza. Cracker crust, gooey cheese, not too much sauce, not too salty. They also make some great dessert ones, like the chocolate strawberry. They try to please here. Live music. Lunch specials. They suggest and help you always. Leticia and Anna made me feel like a father at Christmas. As I was leaving, Leticia was putting tablecloths on the al fresca area. A man on the street yelled "Leticia, coma stai?", she squealed "Raimond!", and I thought "This is the happiest place on earth!"

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! Being Brazilian I have high expectations for Brazilian food and this place does not disappoint. This is as close to an authentic home cooked meal as you can get. Their BBQ chicken is unlike any other... so flavorful and juicy. The service is friendly and fast. Don't forget to get a guaraná as a drink and flan "pudim" for dessert.

I ordered 4 small pizza from here and they came 2 hours late with ice cold pizza along with the shells still on the shrimp (who does that) as you can see by the picture most of my guava pie ended up on the top of the box. Never again

I ordered a large calabresa pizza and it took a long time to arrive. When it arrived the pizza was cold and the calabresa wasn't well cooked. I'm very disappointed.

This is by Far the Best place to eat & the staff is great and always quick and friendly. We come here every Friday to eat some great food always a winner.

I ordered takeout from here thinking it would be as good as Ive known the Kearny location to be, but what a disappointment (now I wonder if the Kearny Brazilian Spices isn't good anymore either, and probably will never go back there again to find out). Food was severely overcooked, rubbery, and the meat was not fresh. My order was a 3 person mixto order and it did not contain enough food for 3 people, they must've given me a 2 person order (which I obviously overpaid for). The worst part was that I waited almost an hour for food that was supposed to take 30-35 mins. I won't be coming back; the next time I decide to take a 30 min ride for some good Brazilian food I'll go somewhere else with attention to quality, customer service, and detail to food preparation. It's a shame.

Great new place, just had Unlimited rodizio & I was not disappointed. This place is BYOB and totally worth it for any meat lover like myself. If you don't eat meat, don't worry they have pizza... and dessert pizza. Excellent food, great service, and a great time. Thanks guys, will see you again soon :)

Definitely mine and my husbands favorite steakhouse in town. They start you off with some garlic bread. We got the Picanha for two people (and we still had leftovers to take home). The meat was cooked the exact temperature we wanted (medium - it was the perfect pink) and salted perfectly. Servers were super nice and attentive. There was no wait at all.

Food was great, and portion was large. We ordered Churrasco Misto for two, delicious; it was a pick-up.

Meat is Okay but the Pizza is absolutely Horrible. Grandmas Special was hard as a rock burnt pizza and no flavor at all. Actually made us sick. Never again zero taste zero flavor.

Definitely my new favorite restaurant. I live 30 min away from the restaurant,but it's totally worth the drive. The food was amazing and service as well. Very hard working people and very friendly. I have been to many Brazilian steakhouses, the quality of the meat and flavor is amazing and to end the night a Brazilian pizza with chocolate and strawberries was phenomenal. The whole family had an awesome time! Oh... and it's BYOB ;)
