Breac.House

We’ve never stayed at a place this perfect, anywhere in the world. We read about it in the NYTimes and booked immediately on a whim. Every step of planning for our stay was graciously helped. Our days there were an idyll of glorious views, linens, local furnishings but especially the food. The finest local ingredients prepared, well, perfectly. Every need was met so graciously. We loved the restaurants Niall and Catherine recommended and booked for us. We dream of coming back, of course. Truly a golden life experience. 🤩

There is something about breac house. Niall and Cathrine create a really peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Loved the breakfasts all the local produce and the pre dinner drinks. Most restful and in a lovely area. Amazing walk to tramore beach. Book early or be disappointed

There should be a heading "hard to find fault " because it is. What an extraordinary experience: from first viewing the house on arrival, to being greeted by the most welcoming hosts Catherine and Neil. The interior of Breac. House is breathtaking. I can only imagine the effort that went into designing and fitting out the building. The bedrooms were divine. The breakfasts were a sight to behold. Drinks in the evening delicious. There aren’t enough words to describe this place. “Perfect” might do it. Truly amazing. Serene location. The property is stunning. The owners and the team are so kind. They have thought of EVERYTHING. Quite literally. The way everything is from local suppliers really makes it all so special. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to spend some time in the sauna and request a seaweed bath. If you’re lucky enough to get a booking, you’re in for a real treat.

Our high expectations were well exceeded. Stunning building. Extremely comfortable room with fabulous view. Niall and Cathrine are superb hosts. Gorgeous breakfast trays discreetly delivered to our room. Thoughtfully sustaining picnic back-packs provided. Complimentary. cocktails, sauna, seaweed bath. Outstanding. Highly recommended.

Bought a 3 night stay here as a gift for my parents. They've just come back and cannot stop talking about the place. Such a sense of peace and tranquility from the minute they walked in. A great place to switch off from the outside world. The food was fantastic and so varied everyday. Cathrine and Niall were the most pleasant hosts, really lovely people who went above & beyond for their guests. My parents said it was one of the best places they've stayed in in Ireland. 110% recommend to anyone. Thanks so much to Cathrine & Niall for making it such a memorable break away for them!

We loved this place. Great attention to detail from a design and service viewpoint, but also a very warm & friendly welcome. Possibly Ireland's best breakfast! You also don't really need dinner after you've had the packed lunch. We will be back!
