Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay

We’ve been revisiting Bread Street Kitchen & Bar by Gordon Ramsay for the past 10 years, and it continues to impress us every single time. During our most recent visit on 22nd February 2026, we celebrated my husband’s birthday. The reservations team duly noted the occasion, which we truly appreciated. The service staff, as always, were exceptional — warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. A special mention to the younger male staff member with spectacles (we didn’t manage to get his name). We’ve seen him on several of our visits, and he is consistently attentive and thoughtful. The Beef Wellington, steamed mussels, and sticky toffee pudding are absolute must-tries. This was our second time having the Beef Wellington and the sticky toffee pudding, and both were just as outstanding as we remembered. These signature dishes truly live up to Gordon’s name, and the standard at Marina Bay Sands’ Bread Street Kitchen consistently delivers. Kudos to every department — thank you to the talented kitchen team for the wonderful dinner and to the service team for always taking such excellent care of your guests. We’ll definitely be back again.

During my recent visit to Singapore, I had the opportunity to dine at Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, located within Marina Bay Sands. Given Gordon Ramsay's reputation, I was intrigued to experience the restaurant firsthand, despite reservations about the potential disparity between the celebrity chef's name and the quality of the food and prices. The concierge service at Marina Bay Sands efficiently reserved a table for me by the window with a scenic waterfront view, which I requested for an early dinner. The view was indeed captivating, allowing me to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of people jogging and strolling along the boardwalk while I awaited my meal. Upon arrival, however, the reception's welcome felt somewhat lacking. Nonetheless, I was promptly seated at my requested table. Having developed a fondness for fish and chips during my time in Scotland several years ago, I eagerly ordered this dish, opting against the signature Wellington Beef due to portion size concerns. Following a brief interval, warm bread was served, boasting an aromatic flavor profile with a perfectly crisp crust and soft interior, complemented by a well-paired accompanying sauce. The meal arrived swiftly, which wasn't surprising given the early hour and sparse patronage. Although the breaded fish was fresh and hot, served atop a bed of French fries and British mashed peas, the fries themselves were somewhat soggy due to their positioning under the hot fish. A notable drawback was the subpar service, characterized by infrequent check-ins from the waiter, whose demeanor could have been more welcoming. Given the premium pricing and the upscale setting, I expected a more attentive and polished service experience. Ultimately, the dining experience fell short of expectations in terms of value, highlighting a discrepancy between the offered quality and the celebrity chef's reputation.

Excellent service. We celebrated our wedding anniversary on a weekday evening. the thoughtful gesture of a signed card with well wishes was given. Sweet of the restaurant :) We order the set dinner with beef Wellington. Starters came in little small bites - enjoyed the salmon starter better than the fried chicken (a bit normal like popcorn chicken). The BW portion is huge and nicely done - I'll first time trying and good experience. We added their spinach cream (which was a bit too salty for our taste) and red wine (enjoyed it we requested for less dry). The desserts were superb. And we ended the meal well with delicious coffee. Pricey but great service and overall good meal. :)

We had an amazing experience at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Singapore. We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and the team went above and beyond by surprising us with a congratulations card signed by all the staff — such a thoughtful and personal touch. Our waiter was fantastic and seated us at a table with a beautiful sunset view, which made the evening even more special. They also gave excellent food recommendations that we really appreciated. The highlight of the night was the Beef Wellington — cooked perfectly medium, exactly as requested. Surprisingly, our favourite item of the meal was the Caesar salad, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. Overall, exceptional service, incredible attention to detail, and outstanding food. A truly memorable anniversary dinner.

We absolutely loved our experience here. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after us with so much care. It was my husband’s birthday, and they really went the extra mile to make it feel special without being over the top. The food was delicious from start to finish. We chose the Beef Wellington menu and it was incredible — perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavour. Every course felt thoughtful and well balanced, and you could really taste the quality. Between the warm service, the amazing food, and the attention we received for the birthday, it turned into a memorable evening. A place we’d happily return to and confidently recommend.

Had a lovely Saturday evening here with my partner. We were initially reserved for an outdoor table but the rain meant we were rearranged to a high table indoor that looks out to the promenade. This change was so good. We still have the outdoor views, and the drizzle, lights kinda elevate the atmosphere for us. Food was awesome, I had the Iberico pork while my partner tried their signature Beef Wellington. Both of us were impressed with how delicious the food was. Service was definitely prompt, in fact too quick. I haven't even took the photos of the sides and the entrees were served. I would recommend anyone to make a reservation as I saw disappointed customers left after told the waiting times.

Lunch twice within one year period at this restaurant with family. We enjoyed the top food quality & service standard on both dining occasions. Start with a simple burger is grilled to perfection and the fries not too salty which is healthy. Waters options are still or sparkling (price on the high side). The Wellington Beef for two is big portions for an Asian appetite, recommend each person a piece to share instead. Save your stomach for other sides dish and desserts. Do allow some time for chef to prepare. The Wellington Salmon (season prder) is delicious too if you don’t eat beef. Desserts are presented well on the plate and delicious to end after a main meal. The Pork Chop is grilled well that meat is tender soft when cut and chew in your mouth. While waiting for the food to serve on a sunny weekend, chill down a beer 🍻 and enjoy the scenic out the restaurant, watching activities past by in an aircon environment. If you park in MBS, check with staff for available parking coupon.

Come for the excellent food. You must have the beef wellington. So tender and perfectly cooked Can ask for extra sauce if you want. And also the sticky date pudding. Has a subtle smoky burnt taste from the burnt caramel sauce, probably the best sticky date pudding I've eaten in Singapore. Unfortunately the service was not quite as expected. While the servers were pleasant and attentive, I felt they could have paid more attention to our specific needs. We took the meal and show package. I felt the servers could have timed our meals so that we are well on time for the show. Even when we timed ourselves, it still took them 10 minutes to come back with the bill, and only after flagging multiple servers and eventually standing up and walking to the cashier machine. We had to make a very brisk walk to the theatre. As they sang later in the show "Be our guest! Be our guest! Put our service to the test ..." In this case the service fell short of expectations

Located inside Marina Bay Sands shopping center. Gordon Ramsay's place is very well appointed. Decor is contemporary casual with style. Lot of choices on menu and reasonable pricing. We had the beef Wellington which is Gordon's signature item and the iberico pork chops. Wellington was cooked to a perfect medium rare, pastry was flaky very scrumptious. Iberico pork was also cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. Service was friendly and unpretentious. The Filipino Manager gave us special attention because we were from Hawaii! An epic experience and we will be back.

We are lucky we only ordered appetizers and not an entree otherwise things could be a lot worse. Let's start off with the drinks. I ordered a Gordon (twist on the gin and tonic). As you can see by my picture below, I only drank half of my drink. I never waste alcohol, but today I had to make an exception. Insert sad emoji face. The drink was all tonic and little gin. For the appetizers, we ordered the scotch egg and deep fried squid. The scotch egg was heavy and not crispy. I was very disappointed. I want to crack a joke, but I feel like it's not appropriate. The deep fried squid was the only saving grace. It was light and the dipping sauce was delicious. Luckily this was a progressive dinner. TBH (To be honest) I don't know why we came here. My suggestion is going straight to the Hawker Street Market. Sooooo much better food and better options. Trust me.

Last minute decision to try this place out. Been to a few GR restaurants so I kinda know what to expect. With reservations I got me a table for one. Service was great. From the hostess to the server. It's been quite awhile since I've experienced great service. I took advantage of the beef Wellington lunch prefix meal. Ordered fish tartare, beef wellington and sticky toffee pudding of course. Tartare was awesome. Beef wellington serving is bigger than the other GR restaurants. Pudding was delicious as expected. There's a reason the pudding is very popular. Must try.

Asked us if we made reservations, of course not. We just stumbled across this place. Made us wait for 30 minutes while there were a number of tables open. Service was very slow. The crust of the bread was over salted. The fish was a large portion, and crispy yet still a little oily based on the residue left on the plate. The chips were thick and good. The "Mushy" peas were a nice touch. We are only giving three stars because we expect much more from Gordon Ramsay since he gives so much grief to the chefs on his shows about needing to season the dishes more. still was way too salty. Doesn't he know too much salt contributes to hypertension??

Food was average, even border line not fresh, perhaps because it was end of night - but this is not low end restaurant, everything should be great. The staff made errors on all our orders, and were unappologetic. in fact, we were spoken to with condescension, the staff told us that this is how service is in any restaurant in the world. This is clearly by local staff that probably has done very little actual world travel, but whether they have or not, I am certain that things are done differently in other restaurants. The staff refused to speak to have a proper conversation of what mistakes they made and why I was bothered; instead, they dismissed my comments and said they would call the police if I did not pay. Of course I would pay, the price tag is meaningless to me. I will just leave it here to tell others that the comments about bad staffing and service are indeed true. The rest, I will speak one of one with the GM in a more constructive way.

Food： Good as always. Made my Sunday roast dream come true. And the steamed sea beam with moilee sauce was outstanding! Service：Bad as usual condescending and arrogant waiters No bread basket without asking, just like last time.

The main course was delicious but unfortunately the service and ambiance was really quite disappointing. I do hope that the staff step it up for the future. We had to wait 10 minutes after being seated to get a waiter, only after waiving our hand multiple times. The beef Wellington, which we waited 45 minutes for, was stated as a dish for 2 people, but didn't come with plates to share. Another 10 minute waiter wait ensued (expect to WAIT for your waiter). The beef was cooked very well, but in every interaction with waiters and managers, the bare minimum (and sometimes less) was given. For food, other than the beef Wellington, the bread in the bread basket was dry, the mashed potatoes were cold, and the sauces simply felt average. Unless you're looking to feel ignored and neglected, I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone for a night out.

Always wanted to grab a bite at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. We had a chance to stop by the Bread Street Kitchen at Marina Bay Sands. Overall I think the food was pretty decent, not amazing. The view and the service on the other hand was excellent!

1. Hands down this was the absolute worst Eggs Benedict I've ever had and this location should be ashamed of how far they've fallen since they opened. When Ramsay isn't watching, they make gelatinous sauce and serve prepackaged ham. 2. The service was ok. I asked for a slice of tomato on the side and it took 15minutes to get it. They also cooked the tomato when I just wanted a slice to put on my Eggs Benedict. They were not particularly busy so there was no reason for the delay save for them not understanding I want a fresh tomato. 3. Atmosphere wise, it was ok. Nothing special at all. 4. I was too scared to get the 120$ beef Wellington for dinner based on the trash eggs Benedict I had so we didn't return for dinner, opting instead to go to the burger joint across the room. 5. Gordon needs to revisit this location and fix them. This is Singapore, a country that thrives on high end merchandise and food sales. The content sold at a restaurant like this should not taste worse than McDonald's Breakfast.

Me and my bf have tried Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas and South Lake Tahoe and was curious if food was same in this location. Me and my bf were disappointed with the food. Service was good but would not recommend the three things we ordered, potted salt beef brisket tasted like corned beef nothing really special and it looked like dog food, dingley dell pork belly was also ordinary it's the same roast pork you can get from a chinese restaurant and butter chicken is not as good as the ones from the Indian Restaurant although there could be a twist to the recipe but did not taste anything different. We did not go for the beef wellington since we have already tried it in Las Vegas and Tahoe. Will not go back to this location.

I've been to Hell's Kitchen so I do think that Gordon Ramsay's food is pretty good. Alas, I also know that celebrity chef restaurants mean celebrity chef prices and that's what has dampened my enthusiasm somewhat. Still Bread Street Kitchen was decent, if not mind-blowing. We arrived at 1130am for brunch and were seated almost immediately, the restaurant was relatively full for pre-lunch hour and many people were celebrating birthdays. I guess it is a pretty nice place for a celebration. We shared the scallops as a starter - they were good though unremarkable and unfortunately very salty. For my main, I ordered the corn fritters. They arrived and looked quite beautiful except that they were definitely not fritters and more like pancakes. Still delicious with the sour cream, guac and sauteed peppers but I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to some crisp fritters for lunch. I'd have been happier if they just changed the name to manage expectations. Someone at my table ordered the signature fish and chips - it was pretty well done and was a huge piece of fish! It was nicely fried, well battered and very fresh. I liked their little jars of ketchup and tartar sauce too. The highlight of the meal however, was the free jar of cookies that came with the check! Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies - fresh and crisp and not too sweet. I had to close the jar to stop myself from finishing them all.

The environment is great. You will have an amazing view of the marina bay. Of course their food are also tasty

This is my second Gordon Ramsey restaurant that Ive been to, and it was a nice experience. The service and food was good. The atmosphere was clean. I ordered the Beef Wellington and it was cooked perfectly. There was a light and soft pastry puff on the outside, and a warm cooked filet on the inside. I ordered it medium rare, and it was a pink center which was perfect. The sauce that it came with had good flavor.

Without considering pice but purely on all others. Beef Carpaccio - a 4 star as it was nicely presented tasted wonderful with good texture. Chicken Wings - a 3. Crust a little too thick and there is really no addiction factor or finger lickin good urge. Caesar Salad - a 4. Good not wow as it is something you can get anywhere else no new interpretation. Roasted Cod - a 4 as the crispy skin not easy to achieve. Mash little dry the best still at Joel Robuchon (RIP). Tuna Tartare - 3. Flavour profile confusing. Now the Beef Wellington the main reason why we are here - a 3. For small eaters this is not a portion for 2 but 3. Beef was tender soft for medium rare. Pastry was nice and crusty. I suppose this is like Durian either you love it or hate it. Can't say we really love but for sure this is the last time we are eating this dish ever. Bread and Butter - 4 Sparking FOC water - 5. For all other than food Ambience - 4. Lively and nice view at the bar. Service - 4 as can be a little hard to get attention. Almost got our Beef Wellington to Medium Well as oppose to Rare. Finally once you take pricing into consideration you will need to knock one star out of everything as the higher pricing is needed to pay for rent so in conclusion a solid 3 star rating.

Great location, great service, good food, decent prices, and worth a visit to this Gordon Ramsey joint. I had the fish and chips and it was very good and reminded me of visiting London, England. There can be a wait here on weekends or popular times, and all the other restaurants will also have a wait, but this place seems to move faster. I really enjoyed the excellent service as they treated me well and were very professional.

The food was okay, tasted fresh. However what really stood out is the service they provided, it was excellent. The ambiance there is great too it has a luxury feeling to it.

Went with my girlfriend here for her birthday and we were excited. The food was pretty, pretty freaking bad. Tuna tatar was edible but it's flavor reminded me of a poke bowl that was unseasoned. We were both really looking forward to the beef Wellington and was just met with pure disappointment. While the cook on the steak was adequate it was extremely bland with no marination or dry rub. The mushroom wrap on the steak was hard AF, the spinach wrap was literally a piece of green dough lol, and the pastry puff was dry. Gordon you can't be giving people crap about not being able to run their own restaurant when you can't even maintain the quality of your own food. Writing this as I can't even stomach more of this wellington.

I was at the Gardens by the Bay for the Orchid Extravaganza Garden Trail this morning. I have bookmarked Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen since last year but never get a chance to try it. Guess today was the day when I should go check it out. I had been to a Gordon Ramsay's Michelin-starred restaurant decade ago. It was a great memorable dining experience for me. Bread Street Kitchen was located at L1 at The Shoppes at Marina May Sands. I read somewhere it was supposed to be a casual restaurant but I do not recommend wearing shorts and flip flops here. There was only one thing I wanted to try for my first visit to Bread Street Kitchen. That would be the Classic Fish & Chips. FOOD Classic Fish & Chips with crushed peas & tartar sauce - 4/5 ~ The portion was generous. The type of fish used here was lingcod. I guess I like my fish to be of Atlantic Cod. Anyhow, the batter was perfect. Love the chips, they were thicker than the normal American fries. The crushed peas was nasty. Sorry, it looked like those pea purée for babies and I must say this must be one of those acquired taste kind of thing :P Iced Lemon Tea - 5/5 ~ different in a very good way. Not too sweet and 100% refreshing!! AMBIENCE - 5/5 I like the décor, music a tad loud for me. SERVICE -5/5 Karen was very friendly and attentive. After the food was served, she came back and checked how I like the food. When I was done with the food (no, I couldn't finish all my food), she cleared the plate and cleaned up any crumbs on the table. Shortly after I asked for the check, she came back with an iPad and asked if I would be kind to give a survey of the dining experience today. How could I say no when someone asked so nicely? :D She also left a jar of chocolate chip cookies with a tong. I took one out to try, it was very good! Crisp and not too sugary sweet. I was planning to give an overall 4 star for my review but Karen was so outstanding (hard to get such service these days) and so I am happy to award a 5 stars to Bread Street Kitchen. I hope Gordon Ramsay will give her a raise or promotion, lol!

Wonderful location right at the MBS walkway, we were seated in the lower level dining room and it was a nice comfortable atmosphere. My team and I were pleased with the variety of breads in the basket and the gluten free options for those who needed it. I ordered the braised beef. The flavors were great but I was surprised at how this was basically served in a bowl so the mashed potatoes and glazed carrots were swimming in the sauce. It made the vegetable over cooked and the potatoes too loose. I am not big on a ton of sauce normally so this was just not the right options for me. The wait staff was very kind and overall if you have the time for a full multi-course meal, it's worth the try. Just make sure to ask questions about the dishes so you know exactly what you're getting.

I was excited to try another Gordon Ramsay restaurant as my last two experiences were quite exceptional (Burger at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and the Savoy Grill at the Savoy hotel in London). Visiting Singapore on business I had the chance to dine at Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen located at the Shoppes at the foot of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. On a Saturday evening around 9pm and without a reservation, I was ushered into a packed house and sat at the bar immediately. Quickly attended to I was provided drink and food menus. Without hesitation I focused in on the Beef Wellington, a signature dish from many of Gordon's television cooking shows. It was a must have. Discussing temperature with the server he suggested medium rare and I went with his recommendation. He said it would be about 20 minutes to prepare and I said that is fine I would like to enjoy some wine and bread to start. I asked the bartender for a wine pairing and he suggested the Malbec Bodegas Catena from Mendoza Argentina. With the wine I was brought a bread basket, butter, small plate and utensils. The breads were fresh and mixed variety of cracker wafers, breadsticks, Italian and sourdough. Next, to my complete surprise, my Beef Wellington arrived no less than 4 minutes after ordering?!? I was extremely confused. I always thought Gordon Ramsay's restaurants were made to order and not pre-made like some fast food manufacturing line. Part of the experience in my opinion is allowing time for sampling the bread, enjoy the wine, taking in the atmosphere and knowing you are getting a dish made just for you. When food is rushed out I immediately feel the lack of attention and sense the restaurant is more focused on turning tables than providing an elevated dining experience. This is the main reason I am not giving 5 stars on this review. The Beef Wellington was prepared to temperature and was above expectations. The texture of the pastry was crisp and the layers were evenly prepared. Topped with red wine jus this dish simply melted in my mouth. Of the two sides the glazed carrots I will remember the flavor for a long time but the mashed potatoes were standard fare. I also had a glass of the Domaine Chanson, Burgundy Pinot Noir. I enjoyed this wine much more than the Malbec, which is odd as I usually like Malbec's better than Pinot's. This had a classic Pinot nose but felt lighter on the palate and probably why I enjoyed it more. I skipped a formal dessert and they brought me some complementary mini chocolate chip cookies. Overall, I give Bread Street Kitchen 4/5 and would recommend if not on a tight budget. If you are after a memorable dining experience, this probably would not be my choice. If you want great food without the fuss, then Bread Street Kitchen would be a top choice. Price: $$$$ Atmosphere: 3/5 - Casual fine dining. Nothing special to note. Service: 4/5 - Food was rushed out (less than 5 minutes to prepare Beef Wellington?!?) Food Quality: 5/5 - exceptional flavors and preparation Price to Value: 4/5 Recommendation: 4/5

To be completely honest, I was surprised by how many faults I could put to this dining experience especially at the cost. There was a hair in the very bland "flatbread pizza",major lack of ambience and a piece of cling wrap in the beef wellington which you can see in the photos . . Though the staff we're very accomodating, hooking us up with some decent ice-cream and taking the wellington off the bill, all in all I would probably never dine with you again and I can't say that I would recommend this place to anyone. Wonder if it will be featuring on Hells Kitchen sometime soon?

The food here is good but is pretty pricey for what you get. I had a cocktail for 22 SGD and a hamburger for 29 SGD. The burger and the cocktail were both good just over priced. My servers were friendly and attentive and I thought the service was quite good. My four star rating is based on: Food: 4 stars Value: 3 stars Service/environment: 4 stars

Food was tasty the first time I came, But 1 week ago, I went without a reservation, was informed to do walk in, Came 30 Mins before the last order. There is available table inside the restaurant, however the receptionist informed that there's no table now , and by the time we get the table, it would have been passed last order, and rejected us. It's not a 1 star establishment , maybe we are unlucky. This review got nothing to do with the food. But Just this incident.

Delicious. The Beef Wellington is delicious. And the wait staff is so great. Highly recommend!

Their service is shit. Totally disaster!! They don't clean my table. Don't give me bread, but i asked for it and get it. Salad after steak, i ask for sea salt but nobody response.... Oh they also forget my chip! Damn it!

This streak was better than Morton's !! My tastebuds had an orgasm with every bite! Omg , I shall return !!! I want to order another but I know I need to pace myself

Sorry but I ate the pictures before taking them... Decided to try Gordon Ramsey's food and recipes to see how they turnout. Started with two appetizers, the tamarind spiced chicken wings and the tuna tartar with crispy wantons. First the wings. They were probably the worst wings I have ever encountered. It had a hard breaded shell with an overly sweet (no hint of the tamarind) sauce. The colder the wings got the tougher they became. Second the tuna tartar. The tuna was almost flavorless except for some sesame oil which is fairly mild. The crispy wonton skins made up for the dish. For the entree, my dining partner and I decided to try the roasted pork belly with an apple chutney/roulade. The pork had the skin left on and it was roasted into a hard crust. Furthermore the crust was quite heavily salted that it made it difficult to. It sat in a soy sauce based sauce which made it saltier and difficult to cut into even with a steak knife. The saving grace was the pork itself was cooked perfectly and was not too fatty as pork belly can tend to be. The apple chutney was excellent and went well with the pork meat. Service was very good and the servers were more than attentive. The bread bowl came out quickly and so did our waters. Even though the bottle of water sat onour table. The servers would refill our glasses periodically. The bottom line is that I am not sure if I will make an effort to visit here again.

Delicious Williston Steak! Gorgeous environment. I would like to recommend to all of you in Singapore. The only cons is expensive! The willinton beef is 160 SGD.

Mr Ramsay's outpost at the MBS is chic, classy and very British. We went there for an evening snack + drinks. Pretty decent wine and beer list. The complimentary bread is great as well. We also got the flatbread which was average, the bread basket was much better IMO!

Food was mediocre as HELL!! Poor / slow service. Tried to dine downstairs the hostess sent us upstairs to bar. Once at bar that hostess tried to send us downstairs!? Finally we just asked to sit at bar which had room, but, needed to clean the space.. but.. at our suggestion! If we'd have been content to leave, they would've been just as happy not to be rushed or bothered!!

I had the aged burger and fries and totally loved it. Perfectly seasoned and the staff are top notch. The little bottle of ketchup was so amazing I asked for one to go. My friend had the scallops and they were really good as well. The mango ice cream is crave-able and we really had a good time. It wasn't to pricey but some things were kind of high. The only knock was the hostess although very friendly wouldn't seat us in the premium area even though the place was not full. Kind of felt like we didn't make the cut and had to sit at the end outside. No bad seating and people watching was cool but I rather would have sat inside. Recommend trying it as it was really good food.

Came here on a Monday night as my friend and I were in the area. And since she talked about Chef Gordon Ramsay, I decided to bring her here to give it a try. While entering the open concept restaurant, we were greeted by a female staff and she asked us whether we had any reservation. As we did not have one, we were asked whether we mind bar seats. Without much hesitation, we said we do not mind. We were led to our high chair seatings (facing each other). I decided to sit facing the waters. Took a quick look at the menu and ordered the following. 1) Fish & Chips - The beer battered fish fillet was great. It was slightly fried giving the top part a crispy touch to it. The thick cut fries was disappointing though as it has not much taste to it. I had to ask the waiter whether there is mashed potato gravy and he ended up getting me their special brown sauce (a few ingredients mixed and similar to bbq sauce but it had a tangy taste). The crushed peas was interesting and the tartar sauce was great if eaten with the fish fillet. Unfortunately this dish did not live up to my expectations especially after staying in Sydney for 4 months. 2) Onion rings - 6 rings inside a bowl. The flour overpowered the taste of the onions. It was crunchy but would prefer to be served warmer. This appetizer is really filling and even without condiments, it is salty. 3) Pineapple Carpaccio, passionfruit and coconut sorbet - I ordered this as it has all my favorite tropical fruits in a dish. When the dish arrived, I was wow-ed by the looks. The grated coconut flakes and the thinly sliced pineapples were pretty attractive on a white serving plate. The coconut sorbet was also perfectly scooped. This dish did impressed me. The thinly sliced pineapple that looks like flower petals were sweet. And with the addition of scattered passionfruit with seeds it made the dish to be both sweet and sour. And the coconut flakes added the crunch to the dish. The coconut sorbet was not too sweet either. Definitely love this plate of dessert. 4) Rhythm & Blues (mocktail/ non-alcoholic) - somehow the ingredients inside this beverage made me order this beverage. It came in a martini glass. The mocktail was fruity and refreshing. And there was a mint leaf on top of it too to add flavor to the drink. At the top of the beverage, there was a foamy layer and the bartender added salt and pepper. You could taste the interesting spun for this drink towards the end and yes, it was addictive. This drink has less ice too so it was not diluted. 5) Forbidden forest (mocktail/ non-alcoholic) - this drink came in a tall glass with a small base. It came with a straw and you could see the crushed ice too. On top of the drink, there was a raspberry and a small touch of rosemary. Unfortunately this drink was a little diluted (too much ice) and you could probably finish it in countable sips. Before the dishes and the beverages arrive, we were given freshly baked homemade breads. The breads were alright but the butter that accompanied the bread was addictive. It melts inside the mouth and was not as salty as I had expected. Service here was pretty efficient. Once you raise your hand up in the air, a waiter or waitress will head to you quickly. I would prefer my dishes to be warmer and the price to be lower. Good experience dining in a restaurant opened by a celebrity chef.

The experience at BST was phenomenal, the service was top notch, food was good and overall just a great place to eat at. Although pricey, you get what you paid for. The portions aren't small like a lot of the high end restaurants these days. They staff just went above and beyond when they brought out a small dessert for my girlfriend and I's anniversary.

Walked in for dinner on a weekday. The restaurant was quite packed. We ordered fish & chips but was quite disappointed as the batter was thick and fish was a little fishy. Nonetheless, service was prompt and friendly. Would probably only return for drinks.

Celebrity chefs. Its easy to sell the concept especially in a very brand conscious city like Singapore. Furthermore, it location - Marina Bay Sands - thrives on this concept. You name the luxury brand, we have it there. A fan of GR himself, I may prove to be a tad bias on this review. In addition, i must add that I went with my mom and her group of friends. So, in essence, my experience wasn't the most refined but relatable to the heartlander. At least the wait staff was patient enough to handle the aunty-ness in my mom and her friends. Allowing them to randomly call out items from the menu and turning a blind eye to the concept of them sharing everything they ordered. They were also proactive to offer suggestions on what to order based on the clientele of the table, which I appreciated. For starters, the corn soup was amazing. The texture and the protein was well done. Creamy and flavourful. A very good way to start the meal. Their asian flavoured wings (9 pieces in all) were well marinated and had a tang to it. My mom's friends call it the atas har cheong kai (upscale spiced chicken wing) and enjoyed relishing its taste with their fingers while I quietly attempt not to cringe. For the mains, they ordered the smoked salmon and the sunday special, Sunday Roast. While I had the rib eye which was not exactly done as per ordered - medium rare - but overall the flavour was there. The bernaise sauce that accompanied the steak was good. Overall, all the mains we ordered met expectations and the portions just right. As for dessert, i was floored with their chocolate cake with mint ice cream. My two favourite flavours in the entire world. It was as if this dessert was made just for me. The center was oozing with chocolatey goodness and the mint ice cream was just smooth and not too sweet. Oh and the aunties ordered a berry pie, which was okay. Tartness was there but compared to me cake... Let's just say it wasnt the best. Haha. I would come back here again to get a taste of their other dishes. Although i must admit with a table of 5 we covered about 25% of the items off the menu. The aunties love it and they will be back with more aunty-ness with their family and othee aunty friends. So I guess GR can't go very wrong with this joint. Maybe next time I'll come with a more sophisticated crowd to see how its like on the other side of the grass patch. Till then, enjoy BSK!

More Than Just Comfort Food In This Kitchen. All I can say is...... Finally!! After months and months of debating if I should give Bread Street Kitchen a shot, we decided to make our way down to finally give it a try. I have to admit, I'm a huge.... HUGE fan of Gordon Ramsey's, so I was caught on the fence about the initial reviews. Having eaten at Gordon Ramsey at the London in Manhattan (now closed) and his flag ship restaurant Gordon Ramsey at Hospital Road, in London, the expectations were pretty high. Yes, it's a casual take on Gordon Ramsey and yes it's comfort food but..... It's still a Gordon Ramsey group of restaurants. So while a part of me said YES I have to eat here, the other half told me "but what if it's a let down like initial reviews suggested?". Initial Service. Was a little disappointed. Considering how you get immediate attention and service and his other restaurant, this one was a little slower. No hostess at the reception counter, wait staff and managers glancing over with no one really saying anything u till the hostess arrived a minute or so later. However, hostess was polite enough to explain that the restaurant was fully reserved and that we had to return our table in an hour. No harm darn considering a) this wasn't a fine dining 3 hour long lunch experience b) we had to get back to the museum for some workshops anyway. The Menu Nothing overly elaborate. 3 page menu filled with comfort food ranging from a Brunch items like Eggs Benedict to Salads, hot mains and Grilled items like Roasted Chicken and Angus steaks. The Price I have to admit, a little of the steep side. Having lunched at his other 2 restaurants, which offered 3 course lunch specials for £35 and USD45, a S$38 Shepherd's pie is a bit pricey. However, considering that this IS Marina Bay Sands where you pay $10 for chicken rice and $27 for a Margherita pizza. We decided to go with the basics. After all, isn't the simplest food the hardest to prepare? Bread Basket The break selection is fantastic! And the butter? To die for! My only wish was that the bread was a little warmer but the variety given was fantastic and tasted great. Couldn't have asked for more. Scallops Off the bat, perfectly cooked scallops. Having had below par scallops recently, this certainly helped the Gf put into perspective what beautifully cooked scallops should taste like. The carrot purée though, I thought, was a little light. While smooth and still a bit sweet, it didn't quite shine like a carrot purée should, with the purée offering more texture than it does flavour. The apple and bacon combination was delightful though, offering enough saltiness, with the richness cut by the apples. However, while the sweetness of the scallops was this there, eating it without the purée and apples made it a bit on the salty side. Overall, still a good dish and nothing is more comforting that the holy trinity of Scallop, Bacon and Apples. Fish & Chips Now THIS is what I call fish and chips. Unfortunately, a lot of the fish and chips in Singapore, though claiming to be authentic British fish and chips, some how still feels a bit of a let down. From the first cut, you would know that this is a good Fish and Chips. The batter was thin and crispy and a first cut in reveals a very juicy, perfectly cooked piece of cod. Juicy, succulent. Although not as large as Smith's, the difference in quality is undeniable. The fish was fresh, not frozen and it was beautifully seasoned. And the chips. The chips are so so so good! By far one of the best fish and chips I've had in Singapore. Millionaires Shortbread with Hazel-Nut milk Sorbet. Chocolate lovers rejoice! This is definitely an ultimate chocolate lover's delight! Rich and smooth chocolate on top with a brownie like base, this is what I call A DESSERT! The hazel-nut milk sorbet was more ice cream than sorbet and was rather sweet but it's creaminess did add to the smoothness of an already rich chocolate "cake". Overall impression. While the food was good, service was average. While staff were friendly, it did feel like they were a bit stretched, with the chef calling service please 3-4 times before dessert was picked up and the bill taking a fair bit to reach us. Will we be back? Definitely. If they could make fish and chips that good, I can't wait to try the rest of their dishes. However, because of the price, I can see why people are put off. Blame it on rental or the fact that he's a celebrity chef in MBS but the restaurant would have gotten a solid 5 had it not been for the slow service and price.

Very good experience. Service was quick. Waiters were courteous and attentive to your needs. Food was excellent. Bread basket could have been better it's called "Bread Street Kitchen" after all!! I don't think I'd bring customers here, but I would definitely come back with friends and family!!

Prawn salad was amazing! You get 4 good size prawns and a nice little salad with it, the bread basket for the table was delicious and had good variety. I also got the butternut soup which tasted great and nice and creamy! My wife had the burger which was top quality even well done! The meat patty was excellent.

Great food, amazing service. Manager gave my husband and I a chocolate cake on the house ! 11/10

Wonderful atmosphere. Yep that's about it. The host and hostess needs training on customer service; or was just having a bad day. The food was subpar. First time and more than likely the last time I'll come here.

For a restaurant named Bread Street the bread basket is just mehhh... Perhaps the biggest negative of the afternoon was how the host handled seating us all. Ultimately she's giving excuses vs offering solutions and came off non-responsive so we had to take initiative to make sure we get our seats. As though walking in without a reservation is unwelcomed. The host came off uppity but our waiter was efficient and friendly. Other negative was "no more" Beef Wellington. Wtfbbq! :\ Food was just ok to great. Scallops- Great. Well cooked. Wish there was more than 3 though. Shepherds Pie- Deceivingly small. Lamb pieces were chunky but tender. Pretty ok dish. Black Cod- Simply delicious. Fish Cake- Skip. Picture looked tastier than it is. Much too dry. Beef Burger- Burger was normal. Nothing amazing. What's amazing is the ketchup for the fries. Surprisingly good. Overall make a reservation if you're a GR fan or curious, because if you had to wait, skip this place. Better joints around.

If this is really Gordon's restaurant, Gordon would have given them bloody hell! Customer service is the worst! No one in there wants to do their job. We walked in and was seated. But had to ask for water 3 times. We ordered appetizers and the waiter never came back to take our order. The appetizers were mediocre. We finished our appetizer and asked for our check. We paid and left with a complaint to the manager.

Go with no expectation that's I would say. Had the fish and chips and it's actually nice, the batter for the chips and the tartar sauce is nice. Also had their Sunday roast but I find it okay okay, meat was cooked nicely like the way we wanted. The potato that came as the side dish is nice too, soft and creamy inside but crispy outside. :) The California maki roll is Cured meat is okay too but it definitely goes well with the Caesar salad that we ordered. But honestly I think they're quite heavy on their salt. Too generous, too generous

Had breakfast at Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed my English breakfast by the bay.

I couldn't fault anything service level was over the top. The food was amazing perfect steak and also the fish and chips was the best I have ever had. And a great surprise was my favourite australian boutique beer fat yak. I will defiantly return. Advise it's best to make a booking but even if you haven't the staff will find somewhere for you to sit. I was also expecting it to be much more expensive the price was right.

FANTASTIC food every time!!!, This time we got: Salmon ceviche, ruby grapefruit, mango, jalapeño, lime, coriander And Flatbread, butternut squash, Taleggio cheese, mushrooms, pine nuts, basil pesto And Seared scallops, carrot purée,treacle cured bacon, apple, celery cress. For starters, so we sheared 3 starters 5 people. After that I got: Roasted duck breast, boulangère potatoes, cabbage purée and mulled berries sauce. For dessert I got: Coffee and white chocolate parfait with poached blackberries I have nothing else to say, everything was perfect. We sad outside becouse indside was all booked op, we sad directly in the evening sun witch af noce view to the lake, a lovely evening! but there is always busy, so book a table! Just to be sure

Gordon Ramsay has never let me down! Took a party of 6 there. Clients. Service was top notch. They are very diligent and making sure you are always taking care of. Well worth the dollars spent. Food was top notch. Some great classics and of course - the steak was awesome. Conveniently located, casual but elegant feel. Can't recommend it enough. Save room for dessert. I'm not a huge dessert fan but the choices were hard to turn down.

We had an early dinner here after visiting the ArtScience Museum at the other end of Marina Bay Shoppes. I enjoyed the bread basket and my main of grilled lamb. My husband got a salad and liked everything about it - freshness, texture, presentation. All in all, a great experience. Planning our return visit the next time we are in Singapore.
