Breakas beach Vanuatu, you have truly wow’d us! From the moment we stepped into this beautiful paradise, we were surrounded by welcoming souls and a tropical atmosphere like no other. The staff and services, completely unmatched, the facilities exceeded expectations and the food and assortment of beverages had us fulfilled and giggling throughout our entire stay! The level of cleanliness was of the utmost highest. Going from a colourful infinity pool straight to white sand and a blue waters filled with colourful fish and coral was such a treat. Such a relaxing beautiful location, adults only resoet set in qn absolutely idillic location. We have made use of the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkled right off the beach seeing blue star fish and some beautiful fish. The food is delicious with a great veriaty. Fantastis atrentive staff. We have to give a special shout out to Cindy who went above and beyond to make our stay here and my wifes 50th a beautiful experience. We had such an amazing stay at Breakas Resort, truly a little paradise! The food was absolutely delicious, and we were so impressed by the attention to detail from the kitchen. A big thank you to Head Chef Paolo, whose dishes were consistently fresh and full of flavour, and to Cynthia for her warmth and hospitality. The private beach is stunning and perfect for relaxing or going for a snorkel, we saw so many colourful fish right off the shore! The adults-only atmosphere made it wonderfully peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. Every staff member was kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We left feeling completely recharged and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend Breakas to anyone visiting Vanuatu, we’ll definitely be back!

We spent a week at Breakas for our honeymoon. The resort was incredible, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too difficult. The food was delicious and the theme nights - Melanesian Feast and the Fire Show were glimpses into Ni-Van culture that was fantastic. The views were beyond what we expected, you do not tire of that view and dinner by the shore is so special. Our massages were the most relaxing experiences imaginable and we loved the entire stay. The bathrooms are a little more tired than they appear in the official photos but facilities were fine.

Great staff. Very helpful and polite. If your planning on a good nights sleep come in the winter as there is no aircon anywhere. The beach is fine but wear some type of footwear in the water due to the coral fragments. A very laid back atmosphere and plenty of good live music. No shopping to speak of.

Positives were: - child free - the staff were very helpful when I needed to go to hospital and friendly. - Ernest was really great and helped so much during our stay. If you are polite you get good service in return. I don’t feel the negative reviews for him are reflective of him. - the food was really great - cocktails made really well - beach chairs and umbrellas placed along the beach - we were moved quickly in the middle of the night when our roof leaked above the bed and soaked the mattress - decent snorkelling from the beach out front. Dugongs and turtles were see while we were there. Guests need to be careful of strong currents on days that are not completely calm/flat. Be aware of your own abilities, be adults and take responsibility of your own safety in the water. don’t over estimate them and need to be rescued by other guests. Don’t rely on fins to get you out of trouble. Negatives: - each day at 5 a large part of the pool area is taken over for dining not leaving much room for pool use. Dining was prioritised over guests use of all facilities paid for. - when events or buffet dinners with shows are on you can’t use the resort facilities without paying over $150 AUD for the dinner. We heard from many guests who decided to have dinner at various restaurants on new years return later in the evening and told to go and stay in their rooms for the rest of the night. They are guests of the resort and have paid to use the facilities for the duration of the stay so to have the times cut short or not available at all would be disappointing. We spoke to 6 different couples who stayed in their rooms for new years. The extra fee of $70 is not fair when already paying a decent nightly rate. - the fares on the far fence line are not private with a fence next to a busy track used by locals . The fence is see through into the rooms. - we had someone climb on the roof of our fare on our last night trying to break in through the shower and deterred when my husband woke up and turned all of the lights on including the outside lights. Just need to make sure the bathroom doors are locked all the time and valuables are in the safe at all times. My husband didn’t tell me about this until we had left because he knew I would be scared. There are guards but naturally they can’t be everywhere all the time. - Fares close to the locals swimming spot had people from outside the resort sitting on their balcony when they returned - there were large groups of drunk people in the breakfast area at 7am on a day that was not a public holiday and they were not staying at the resort making it pretty uncomfortable. They were still drinking cruisers, beer and wine at 7am. - the music was way to loud but the last couple of days it was toned down and a nice level. We understand new years was loud and appreciate the party. Just early in the day sometimes a bit too much.

I had an absolutely amazing, tranquil stay at Breakas. The rooms are absolutely divine. The pool and beach area are beautiful. It was definitely 9 days of pure relaxation. Regina one of the waitresses was particularly charming and funny and made my stay extra special. But all the staff from the security to the reception were all so lovely. The only downfall for me was the food at the resort. Breakfast is exceptionally basic and the lunch and dinner menu was very hit and miss.
