Lovely resort, friendly staff, clean facilities. The highlight was the food - a great Italian chef makes wonderful pizzas, the best jus I’ve ever had on steak medallions from the specials board (and the veggies were terrific as well). If it’s on the menu, try the fish salad. Best I’ve had in this region. Even the burgers were great. I’ll go back there if only for the food.

The staff make this place special. They remember your name and room number are all very polite and helpful, I can't thank everyone enough for making our stay memorable. I had a massage, which was wonderful, and left feeling totally relaxed. The breakfast had a great selection of cereal, bread, fresh fruit, and pancakes. The menus for lunch and dinner had a fantastic selection and something for everyone. Pizzas were great, the beef burger was so tasty, and the pasta was amazing. Had a desert a couple of nights, and it was delicious. The resort has no paved paths it is just sand everywhere, so it can make walking slightly difficult if you have any leg/feet issues. We stayed in a beachfront room and loved waking up to the sound of the waves but it can also be noisy in the evenings if u are in close proximity to the restaurant/bar area as there is often music or entertainment happening. The room was cleaned every day, and housekeeping staff were accommodating with any specific requests we had. The bathroom was basic, but all you needed and loved the shower that was open air. The grounds are well maintained with raking every day. Very much enjoyed the Wednesday night dinner and show and also Friday night fire show.

We loved our Beach front Farè. It was brilliant for what we wanted. The Farès are older and very open, the shower is quirky which we loved. The resort itself is beautiful, food was really good. It was a little way out from everything but that didn't bother us. We hired a car and were comfortable driving. If we did a tour they picked up from Breakas. The weather turned a bit cooler at night but reception happily provided additional blankets. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location and lovely rooms, simple but clean and comfortable. Menu is quite nice, a few great Italian dishes! Staff were mostly friendly. Two very big downfalls— extremely basic breakfast and it never changes (fruit, juice, bread, small amounts of pastries and little pancakes), only instant coffee. Also we asked for a small bag of washing to get done (a quarter of a machine wash) and OMG $107 AUSTRALIA DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!! I have never felt more like iv been taken for a ride! I thought I must have heard it wrong. Absolutely disgraceful to do this to the guests that are supporting your business. Fair warning!!

We had the absolute best time at Breakas! It is a beautiful resort with fantastic staff who welcome you like Family. We stayed in a fantastic bungalow which is very traditional. The pool is an infinity pool right down to the private beach. We had fantastic dinners on the beach watching Melanesian nights and fire shows. We also had beautiful massages ! ||The highlight of the holiday is most definitely the staff - especially Jack who made every evening so much fun making cocktails for us ! The Reception and Restaurant staff could not do enough for us! They were so helpful and welcoming. ||I couldn’t recommend this resort more highly! thank you for such a wonderful time. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Its not super fancy, just comfortable, clean and friendly. The food at the restaurant was good and there are two other good restaurants within walking distance and a shop across the road that sells drinks and snacks. |Continental breakfast has all the basics, including excellent pancakes.|There is good snorkelling off the beach, especially if you are a good swimmer. It maybe a bit hairy if not, as there are strong currents. |We met some lovely people and the staff were delightful. Operates on island time, though, so if you want snappy, you will be disappointed. Just relax and enjoy.

My husband and I moved to this resort after a very poor experience at another resort in Vanuatu only a few days into our holiday.||We decided to visit Breakas in person to have a look around before we committed. We were so glad we did this as we met a very friendly and engaging Italian waitress called Cindy who was very happy to show us around the restaurant and resort and it was her kindness, passion and enthusiasm that gave us the confidence to book this resort.||We were so pleased we did and Breakas exceeded our expectations. The adults only resort is perfectly located on a private cove and has an intimate, relaxed beach vibe. The property is set on the beach with a beautiful pool and restaurant and the choice of traditional beach and garden fares. We stayed in a Beach Fare which was just steps from the ocean, private, clean, comfortable well ventilated. The ceiling fan was all that was needed and I loved the outdoor shower.||The staff were very friendly and attentive ( special thanks to Cindy) and the food was fantastic ( thanks Chef)| plenty of menu options including great Italian cuisine and the cocktails were wonderful…..there was no need to leave the resort. ||If you are looking for a relaxed feet in the sand experience where you can choose to do lots or nothing at all, experience great food, cocktails and friendly service in a beautiful setting then this is the place for you.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Port Vila, look no further—Breakas is the slice of paradise you’ve been dreaming of.||We stayed in a beachfront fare, and it was absolutely stunning. We’re already missing the outdoor reef shower—it was such a unique and refreshing experience! The room was impeccably cleaned every day, and the maintenance crew did a fantastic job resetting the grounds each morning.||The beach is pristine, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot dugongs enjoying their breakfast right in front of the resort. Truly magical.||Now let’s talk about the food—it was divine. The restaurant offers an exquisite selection of dishes. Without a doubt, this was the best Italian food we’ve had outside of Italy. The lobster? To die for!||But the real jewel of Breakas is the staff. So attentive, welcoming, and always ready with a smile that warms your heart. A special thank you to the security team, front desk, Katua at the excursion desk, Rebecca at the spa, Rosemary and her wonderful breakfast team, Regina, John, Esta, and all the other incredible wait staff.||And finally, an enormous thank you to Paolo (Head Chef) and Cinzia (Restaurant Manager) for running such a special place and making us feel like a part of the Breakas family.||Tankio Tumas|Ellie & Mitch
