We stayed here for about a week. We hired a car for the week so location didn’t matter to us as much. Overall we had a wonderful time, we’ll go back for their specific food in the future.
Pros:
- Cute huts, it’s definitely something to experience once. Loved the design and it was cool at night
- Tasty options on the menu, the muscles were my favourite
- Tasty and generous drinks!
- Friendly staff
- They helped us taking our suitcases to our hut
- Infinity pool
- Adorable kittens!
- Fire dance
- No mosquitos
- Kava ceremony
Cons:
- Breakfast was not good. It was the worst breakfast I’ve had so far traveling. There weren’t many options, and the fruits tasted like they prepared them few hours earlier.
- The breakfast buffet didn’t look clean. There were marks on the plates and cups, and often there wasn’t enough plates/cups/cutlery.
- Everything takes a long time here. You need to add 30 minutes to whatever time you get hungry. Also add half an hour or so to the time you need to leave for the airport. Drinks take forever to get prepared here.
- It feels like they don’t have enough staff
- No internet in the huts
- The service and everything could improve, for example, I didn’t notice we could get towels to sit on the beach chairs till the last day! That shouldn’t have happened, they should be available to guests easily.
- No room service
- Things could be more hygienic overall. For example I made tea in the room and the tea bags weren’t in small packs, there were all in a container, which anyone could have put their dirty hands in there…
- One of the guests told me that they had a medical emergency, and this resort didn’t have proper emergency kit. This lady was in a medical field, she told me they didn’t even have bandaids and their other things seem to have expired many years ago!
- I went to the beach right at the front and it was filled with these weird looking things! I think they were sea cucumbers but I’m not sure. If you do go here, make sure you wear your rock shoes at the beach.
