Best breakfast I had in Tokyo!! After having Japanese and Hotel breakfast’s for the first couple of days, it was good to have a “Western Style Breakfast” Small wait once we arrived, but well worth the 15 minutes. Breakfast was delicious, service was awesome. Really enjoyed

I went for breakfast with a few friends and very quickly got a seat. The staff were very friendly and also spoke English very well. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was cooked perfectly. The biscuit, ham, and hollandaise sauce perfectly complemented the meal. My friends ordered the lumberjack meal and they really enjoyed it as well. I plan to go back and try other menu items when I have the time. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast or brunch.

Relaxed, small restaurant with western type dishes. We had the breakfast burrito, banana walnut pancakes, and chocolate cherry pancakes. All was delicious! The chocolate cherry pancakes were definitely the stand-out! Thank you for a delicious start to our day!

My husband and I had this at the tail end of our trip and it was pretty good! A nice western style breakfast the pancakes were crisp fluffy. I just wish that the potatoes had a little bit more seasoning. Small weight because the shop is small but the workers and the waiter was really awesome and nice.

This is my third trip to Tokyo, and each time, I have to have Jade5 at least once (probably more than once) before I leave. This brunch spot puts most brunch spots in the states to shame. It's a tiny space and there is usually a wait, but it's all worth it once you sit down. Their small list of food options are executed perfectly, especially their blueberry pancakes which have been voted the best pancakes in the world (by me). Quit having mediocre fluffy pancakes around Tokyo, and stop by Jade5 for the real deal. True western style flapjacks that will bring you to tears.

Absolutely amazing manners and politeness. Very accommodating and comforting feeling inside. Staff were so nice, even with our broken Japanese, they understood English very well. Food was stunning and delicious. Super clean and tidy!

Small, neighborhood breakfast place. "Western" style breakfasts. Also dog friendly. We ate there twice. About a 10 minute wait the second trip. Had the spinach and mushroom omelet with a delicious toasted baguette the first time, then the breakfast burrito and fries. Very satisfying!

Small cafe with American selections. Very limited seating but definitely worth the wait. We tried the Lumberjack combo & chicken salad sandwich. Both were delicious. I really enjoyed the pancakes—fluffy with just the right amount of crispness.

Amazing food! So good we came back twice! This place is a gem. The food is delicious and decently priced. They don't have much room/space so you've gotta wait sometimes especially during breakfast time. The coffee, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and crispy has browns are my favorite!! Ugh! Just love this place. The service was wonderful and ambiance was chill. It's a tight space but worth it! Some of the best food you'll get for breakfast in this Tokyo neighborhood!

Among the best breakfasts I have had anywhere. If you're looking for a typical American breakfast place, as we were, then you won't be disappointed. Regular and banana walnut pancakes were perfect, as were the eggs, bacon and coffee. Not sure if the maple syrup was bottled but tasted as though it could be from scratch. The staff was wonderful and spoke/understood English perfectly. Only 4 tables and seats about 12. We came at 9am on a Friday and walked right in. Nobody had to wait before or after we came, except for a group of 6. Just can't say enough about the food quality and taste, plus the staff!

Excellent service! It's a small place, but it is quick and delicious. The blueberry pancakes are incredible! I also highly recommended the scrambled eggs with cheddar.

It's been along time since I've had brunch here in Japan, and I couldn't was opportunity to have a westernize meal while the day was young and this restaurant was open. It was really hard to make up my mind because everything is delicious, but I selected the chocolate and cherry pancakes recommended by the server. I felt like I needed to meet so I got some bacon and when they both came out was very impressed with how everything looked on the plate. You have to remember this isn't like IHOP or any of these gigantic breakfast spots in the west and the portioning was just right. The flavors of the chocolate and cherry were heavenly and the pancakes were super fluffy. Now when it comes down to bacon, it was just a little different, delicious but different. I wish this place was closer to me because I would come here every day to study and have my coffee.

The food at this place is delicious! Jade 5 is a small hole in the wall restaurant and we had a little bit of difficulty finding it since got off on a farther train station and had no WiFi. The nearest train station is Hiro and I recommend getting off at this stop based on experience. The place serves great American style breakfast for those wanting a taste from home. We had the blueberry pancakes, eggs and bacon combo, and spinach and mushroom omelette.

Came in around 8:30am on a Wednesday and it was empty. It was me and my two young children, so fortunately we could take the one table that seated more than two people. It was a bit of a walk from the Westin Tokyo but we wanted to explore something new. Very American breakfast and very filling. Ordered the Eggs Benedict, Lumber Jack with home fries, and two eggs any style - then the kids could each have a pancake, plenty of scrambled eggs, and some homefries. It was *plenty* of food and it was really good! The eggs benedict came on a yummy biscuit, hollandaise was good too. Home fries were really nice and crispy. Pancakes were big and fluffy. It is CASH ONLY, so keep that in mind. For our breakfast with a cup of tea it was ¥2780. For the kids they had some books (in English!) and a little drawing pad, so it was great for them. So for food, no wait, and coziness - 5 stars!

Charming breakfast nook reminiscent of a cafe in Paris, Excellent American breakfast and lunch offerings prepared to perfection.

Traveled on the train for about an hour just to get here. Got the mushroom, tomato, and cheese omelet with pancakes and and an eggs Benedict. It was amazing, i haven't seen a lot of breakfast places but i would definitely come again to this one. Close to the train station and easy to find. Service is great, the place is small but spacious to eat.

Love this place and will return. Tucked into a tiny space around the corner from the Hiroo shotengai (shopping street), this is one of the few early morning breakfast places (from 730am!) in Tokyo - a city which sorely lacks morning options of quality. The eggs florentine on their original biscuit were delicious and eggs were fluffy in the lox omelette. Coffee was American drip style with good strong taste for only + 200 yen before 11am and best of all -- the dishes are half the price of normal breakfast places in Tokyo. Also the atmosphere was something out of lower east side NYC with a nice touch of American music playing. Very cool. This is what breakfast should be, well done Jade 5! Thank you!

Amazing eggs and salmon. Crappy coffee (but so far ALL coffee in Japan has been terrible so along the "terrible" spectrum this coffee wasn't among the best :)). Great service and again amazing breakfast (we had eggs Benedict over salmon and some crunchy biscuit thing) The home fries were amazing. So crispy. Not soggy and soft like American style. Really liked them.

Adorable little breakfast place. Only a few tables but our timing has been pretty good and we've never had to wait long. Classic American-style breakfasts and they play country music! Friendly and sweet staff too.
