We went on a weekday for brunch. Parking was easy and we were seated right away. I opted for the beefsteak and my partner ordered the meat overload something. I forgot the name. Lol. The beef steak was tender, flavorful and compliments the garlic rice perfectly. It's chef's kiss. My partner loved her order too. We also had the meat pie but I had to take it out because we were already full. It's also good and reminded me of the meat pie I had in Australia. Service was top-notch. The staff were very warm and accommodating and they are so attentive as well. Overall, you get what you pay for here at Antonio's and it's definitely worth every penny, based on our experience.

We rode up to Breakfast at Antonio’s in Tagaytay on a Sunday morning, and it was well worth the early start. The views from the top were absolutely stunning—clear skies and a sweeping panorama that set the perfect backdrop for a leisurely breakfast. Getting there early is key, as they don’t take reservations. Fortunately, we arrived just in time to grab a great table with a view and avoid the typical weekend crowds. The staff welcomed us warmly and the service throughout was attentive and efficient. We tried the homemade sausage and the homemade luncheon meat—both were excellent. The sausage was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice, while the luncheon meat was thick-cut, well-seasoned, and freshly made. It was a delicious, comforting meal that felt both refined and hearty. Breakfast at Antonio’s delivered across the board: exceptional food, warm service, and a serene setting. If you're planning a Tagaytay morning ride or drive, this spot is a must.

July 13, 2025 Dining here was a great decision! We’re a family of six, and it was our first time visiting this restaurant. Right off the bat, we were impressed by the wide range of menu options—especially the fact that they serve all-day breakfast, which we love. We tried a variety of dishes: salads, all-meat breakfast platters, baby back ribs, roasted chicken, beef ribs, and their must-try homemade ice cream. Everything was served in generous portions and tasted fantastic! While prices are on the higher side, the servings are good for sharing, so it’s definitely worth it. I’m not usually a big fan of salads, but the mesclun salad with their homemade raspberry vinaigrette was surprisingly delicious—I could’ve finished the whole plate myself 😅. All the meat dishes were flavorful, but the baby back ribs stood out—super tender with just the right balance of sauce. We also tried affogato for the first time, and it did not disappoint. The pairing of bold espresso and panna ice cream was heavenly 😁. Overall, this is the kind of restaurant you’d happily return to and recommend to friends. Great food, attentive service, and even their washroom was clean and had a pleasant scent. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Absolutely love the vibe of this place! The staff is incredibly well-trained and truly knows how to pamper their guests. The food? Yummy! Each dish is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with generous portions that leave you wanting more. I can’t wait to return for another amazing experience!

Went back after yeaaars — South is always bumper to bumper. Good thing they now have here in Rob Mag and Opus, tho haven't tried their new branches. Food is okay for me, big servings. I wasn't able to capture everything but our whole lunch cost around 12k+ for 9 adults and 1 kid. A bit pricey but their service is good and place is cozy. The staffs give crayons to kids since their paper napkins are good as a canvas.

Had a brunch and we didn’t expect how good their food was! The server was attentive and made excellent recommendations, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. It was pricey yet worthy! Kudos!

Google
The food presentation was nice, but the flavors didn’t quite match the price point. It gets quite crowded on weekdays, and while the overall experience was okay, it’s not a place I’d feel drawn to return to. That said, service was impressively fast

Just had the BEST breakfast experience at Antonio's! The place has such a chill, homey vibe that instantly made me feel welcome. The food? Absolutely DIVINE! I ordered their Eggs Benedict and it was egg-celent in every way - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor! I paired it with their Bananarama smoothie (a delicious banana-strawberry fusion) and was like oh-la-la with every sip! The whole experience was just *chef's kiss* - seriously, this breakfast is for the gods! P.S. Attached in this slide is the complete menu list.

Yelp
This is my first time ever trying this restaurant and I will go back here if I had the chance. I ordered the carbonara and had a taste of the sour-dough-pancakes. The pasta was a 9/10 and the pancake is 8/10. The food came pretty quick even though there was also my parents and my aunt and uncle. I could even see the view of the mountains in the distance so that is a plus. If I go back here, I'd order the same things I ate today. Definitely recommend this! - from a kid

Yelp
LOCATION - GREAT place. Beautiful views. PARKING - VERY tight when coming at rush times. But at least there is likely someone to assist you if it's crowded. FOOD - The food was really great. My longanisa was delicious as-is, but once they lit it on fire...OMG. Blew my mind how much MORE delicious it became. So yummy! Price is a little more than most places, but their service is so hospitable too so can't beat it.

Yelp
Beautiful location, amazing views and beautiful interior. I did not enjoy the service nor the food. For what you pay, the food is okay but the service caused me to take away two stars as no one came to our table after serving the food. Our drinks showed up only after inquiring twice and at the end of the meal. Great spot to visit but don't come hungry nor expect to be served well.

Yelp
Breakfast at Antonio's inside Robinson magnolia mall. Never got to try the food, I sat for 23 minutes with all waiters ignoring me..... I attempted to flag them down to take my order. No one brought me water. No one even acknowledged me. Worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. I told The hostess I sat for 23 minutes with people, ignoring me while they took four other orders around me.. I assume they ignored me because I'm a white foreigner.

Yelp
Uncertain whether I've reviewed Family always enjoys dining at BF @Antonio's. i'm leaving a 5 due to its cozy atmosphere, affordable (yes, this is relative), recognition of servers, people/security-guards. Or perhaps, they're just like that: making us feel at home-away-from-home.

Yelp
Got $$$ and don't mind letting it go?? Then this is your spot. Service - as expected (feels like every where we went) , the host and servers were attentive. Location- great view - obstructed by the Love the pork brisket! It's tender, juicy and absolutely my fav.. Why missing one star of my experience was awesome 1.) maybe this is cultural, but they are not shy with their salt. everything is saltier than what I'm used to. And I wish I knew that. 2) not enough local drink selections. I missed calamnsi juice- not offered here. No pineapple or mango either. I think you get the mango share- but they were out. Overall- would come back here.

Yelp
Came for breakfast to see what all the rave was and after dining here, I understand! You can't make reservations unfortunately and we had a party of 11 so I was already anticipating a wait but luckily they were able to sit us right now since we came a bit early right before the rush! They have a gift shop where you can buy longaniza, tapa, bread, etc. Which we did! Ambiance was nice and they have an outdoor seating with a big sign, great for pictures and you have a great view! They are also dog friendly and have a section where you can dine with your fur baby! I got their homemade spam because it was one of the chefs top choice but i didn't think it was the best. Others got tapa, homemade corned beef, longaniza, pancakes and everyone said how delicious their meals were! The presentation was certainly pretty! We bought their tapa and longaniza and I LOVED their longaniza which was a little sweet but then spicy which I love! Highly recommend and will go back whenever im in the area!

Yelp
Overall experience at Breakfast at Antonio's was good. We were here on a Monday morning around noon. We waited 20 mins before being seated. Food: good presentation, tasty, portion is smaller than expected. Tomato Mushroom Omelette with Cheddar and Chili: housemade hash brown was crispy (not traditional). French style omelette, combo of cheddar cheese, mushroom, and local chili was delicious. Housemade corned beef: flavorful, shredded and soft with two eggs overeasy. Thanks for not over cooking the eggs. Dark chocolate peanut butter ice cream: thumb up. Creamy, rich chocolate flavor, peanut butter chunks. Both dishes should come with housemade toast but we didn't get them until we ask for it.

Yelp
I ordered longanesa and it took them forever to deliver for a dine in , on top of that they brought it on a grill which you will need to cook still. Not a good experience, and the food was not even good. This restaurant is over rated and over priced. Not coming back for sure. Not worth my time.

Yelp
Typical dining across Taal Volcano's rim. Good service with cordial staff: servers, cook.

Yelp
Food's excellent! We ordered during merienda time, I had grilled ensaymada and hot chocolate and my husband had french toast and cookies and cream shake. Everything was delightful to the palate! The place was clean and had beautiful ambiance, they also have a designated area where we can eat with our precious pet. I would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
This place is definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots in Tagaytay... I will start off by saying make sure to make plans to get there early and dont plan anything to tight after because there can be a long wait. They have a little marketplace inside when you walk in if you do want to take home any of their goods, wines, and even pastiries. The food here is a big serving and is always on point. I love how they offer a twist on filipino classic meals but they still find a way to make it so good. The customer service is on point and the staff is always so nice. If you are lucky to get outdoor seating, they offer an amazing view of Tagaytay. This restaurant has two locations and is affiliated with Balay Dako but that restaurant is located in a more busy area but still worth it.

Reyvic V.

Yelp
Foods are served cold, especially the beef tapa, daing na Bangus and waffle. Most worst experience is that the ensaymada with Parma ham was not serve. You need to approach them to serve you your order. We've waited for about 35mins for our turn to be seated and another one hour for our cold food to be served. This is the worst dining experience that our family ever had. And sadly, it is the exact birthday of my husband that we've try to enjoy a meal at their restaurant. Word of advice: have plenty of time and patience when you do decide to eat breakfast at their restaurant.

Yelp
The atmosphere was very nice which is why it is getting some stars. But based on the flavor of the food items I tasted, I personally would not recommend (especially for the comparative price). The mushroom pasta I ordered had no flavor whatsoever. The sauce the pasta was tossed in was completely bland and it tasted like there was no seasoning whatsoever on the mushrooms.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Quite possibly better ensaymada than Mary Grace. Most definitely better cheese roll than Mary Grace. I ordered a grilled ensaymada with queso de bola for dine-in. It was so delicious that I almost bought a box to go home but since I had 4 more days in the country, I decided against it and regretted it half way back to Manila. I did pick up two cheese rolls "just in case" I had a craving - they're half the size, so figured that would be sufficient enough. Then I tasted it...and instantly wished I had bought three dozen. Amazing. Seriously the best cheese roll I have had ever anywhere. BF ordered the sautéed corned beef...it was good...portion was fair. It was just enough food to fill his American sized belly. Will return for sure next time we are in the Philippines.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, great tasting food, the service was not top notch if i have to compare it to the price of food. Servers, i believe should check on you maybe at least once or twice to see if you're doing ok or if they can grab anything for you, we shouldn't have to flag them down one by one.
google avatar

Tonitini C.

Yelp
Nice spot if you're looking for an American Breakfast style with a twist. My family brought me here, and as I do appreciate the dish I ordered. I mostly spent time with them here, by getting the most of my precious time in the Philippines. As for the food, they're prepared fresh, good taste and flavor, but nothing that WOW'd me to the floor. As for the ambiance and view: now, this was on point. It's always a plus having your restaurant sitting at a top of the hill, with the view of Taal Volcano, it makes it a classic feast for the eyes. They have ample parking at the front and the back, but be careful--its a little steep.

Yelp
I really enjoyed breakfast at Balay Dako and so I thought I would give Breakfast at Antonio's a try for dinner. Its location is great and because there are large windows on 3 sides, you get a great scenic view from any table. The service here is exceptional and our server, Julie, was very attentive. First off, their menu has an extensive selection. From breakfast all day (yes please) to salads and full entrees; there's something for everyone here. They also have a lot of drink options as well- cocktails, coffee, espressos, milkshakes and smoothies. The Four Berries smoothie was very refreshing. When it came down to the meal I ordered Antonio's House Salad and got it with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I know it was just a salad but no joke- the best salad I have ever had! The lettuce was sooooo crispy and fresh! I could tell the moment I was cutting into it- this salad was going to be good. There were so many good surprises in the salad- cucumber, eggs, seeds and nuts that I was glad I didn't get chicken with it. Highly recommend this salad! To share with the table, I also ordered a margherita pizza with prosciutto and a side of truffle fries. The pizza was thin and crispy and they did not skim on the prosciutto. The truffle fries were also delicious- try It with the curry ketchup for an extra kick. Overall- great dining experience and we all left full and satisfied. I thought the meal was so good I even went back two days later for lunch and got the house salad again. When I am in town again, I will definitely be stopping by Breakfast at Antonio's.

Yelp
Their homey ambiance alone is worth the visit, but I'm sure you have this on your radar already and you are here to seeking confirmation. The answer is always a yes you must visit, because reviews are always subjective and vary for each individual, but there's a tone to go by. Looking for an alternative? I suggest Balay Dako -Terrazas for some chill music, good Filipino food, and with an even better view. Breakfast at Antonio's is a destination restaurant, welcoming diners to a feel good morning place. Where staff are well trained in the hospitality aspect of a great dining experience. Expect a laid back atmosphere that's lively at the same time, as family bounding are the usual during weekends. HIGHLIGHTS Hospitable Service Relaxing Ambiance American Style Breakfast Food Salmon Bagel (245 PHP) Prices are as high as their altitude and this is probably the cheapest item for breakfast, but surely a light one. Quality over quantity is a good reason to order this simple serving of breakfast. Fresh Corned Beef Roesti (P430) Looking of a feel good and hefty item, then this surely fits that craving. A potato fritter base, juicy an d meaty strands of their fresh corned beef, 2 eggs poached to top this piece, and finally smothered in a light and smooth hollandaise sauce that's forgiving on the heaviness of the corned beef, so its a fairly balanced dish, which feels good to eat. Fried Rice Omelette with Beef Tapa and Mushroom (P405) Seemingly an ordinary omelette that's packed with savoury pieces of their famous beef tapa (because they said so, which certainly is a valid claim within their domain), rice fried with mushrooms compressed within the omelette. The savoury surprise from within will change your perspective on its ability to fill your tummy, as it achieves it well. Gratinated Portobello (P705) Berry Glazed Duck Liver garnished with mushrooms and Gratinated Portobello. Is it worth the asking price? A yes and No, it's a preferential dish that's high subjective, taste wise an excellent option for those looking for something opulent in flavour. Not recommended for those looking to have a hefty breakfast. TWG Jade African Mimosa (P3650/bottle) A combination of the Jade of Africa Tea (Finest Teas of the World), Passion Fruit cordial and Tosso Prosseco. It's a special drink that was sampled to me during my visit, which will be available soon to the public and probable is already.

Yelp
Extensive menu for breakfast and other all time favorites. I like the way the menu is in bold large prints easy to read with accompanying pictures. Nice ambiance to chat it up with a friend or with family. Loved the coffee and the twg tea.

Yelp
First of all, let me start off by saying thank you very much for all the help with the flower arrangements for our special engagement day. After all the troubles I had to go through just for me to be surprised was all so worth it. Remembering the part when we went to the actual original plan at the Antonio's. Reservation was cancelled due to a lack of proper clothing for the restaurant. So the reservation was then switched here. Waited 4/5 hours from waiting and driving all the way from Manila. At first I had no idea it was going to be an engagement. My father had mentioned it to me that it was something he's been wanting to do for me, since I live in the US and he lives in the Philippines, he said it would be nice for him to surprise me lol. So I knew it was going to be a surprise dinner, thinking it would be a welcome back to the Philippines surprise party kind of thing lol turns out my fiancé had asked me to be his wife! As I got to this restaurant, walked in and everybody was staring at me. Then I see rose petals guiding me to the table where all my family is sitting. At this point, I was nervous and thought to myself oh no my boyfriend is going to propose. The whole restaurant got quiet and then our song started playing. Then he asked me to be his wife. All of these wonderful memories and experiences happened with the help of the Breakfast at Antonio's staff. I am truly thankful for making my dream engagement a reality! Definitely going to come back soon to visit this awesome restaurant.

Yelp
This one's definitey my most favorite brunch place in Tagaytay, my family and friends' go-to. They have great foods and a really lovely place, surrounded by nature which gives a homey comforting vibe. Foods are quite expensive here but worth it. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Yelp
Everything is 5 stars. Food, location, service, interior. I would love to return to this restaurant. Highly recommend. Many meal options, European, local. Don't forget to take a photo outside with the view.

Alfonso F.

Yelp
Highly recommend pasta portobello truffle tagliattelle and cereal cordon bleu. Service was also good. They practice all the safety protocols during covid and operate limited seating.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place after seeing it so much on social media. Came by for lunch Sunday, and even though our group was 13th on the list to be seated, the wait wasn't unbearably long. Although we were all satisfied with our orders, I think presentation could use a bit of a boost - or maybe they could opt for smaller plates as the big square ones drown the food out. All in all, Breakfast at Antonio's makes for a lovely out-of-town destination for quality American/continental breakfast fare in a breezy, summerhouse setting. As for the view, you really couldn't see Taal Volcano unless you go out on the outdoor patio. It was raining when we arrived and when we left. On both occasions, staff were on the ready to usher us in/out with umbrellas. Nice!
google avatar

Erwin C.

Yelp
To pricey the food was not as I taught to be. Service was bad. Its just basic american or European breakfast serve with filipino flare. If you go to the US you could buy there breakfast in a basic Ihop or Denny's. There take on french breakfast is dismal. The bad thing I hate about this place is that the staff is more attentive to some foreigners and to people who look rich. Well i think that is the thing in the Philippines. Some of the judge you buy the color of your skin and the thickness of your wallet. That is why my experience here was a total lost. Expensive price with mediocre food and prejudice service staff.

Yelp
Definitely my go-to breakfast spot before heading to any of the Batangas beaches. Breakfast at Antonio's is by the one and only Tony Boy Escalante. If you see their menu, you'll see that they serve the simplest of breakfast food, but the quality is one of a kind. During my last visit, my fiance and I ordered sirloin tapa, chorizo picante (both cooked to perfection and served with 2 eggs cooked to your liking and garlic rice) and honey waffle (which was GOLDEN brown) to share. I love visiting this place and definitely don't mind going for a drive just to dine here because it feels nice and cozy and the food here never fails. Oh, and I almost forgot! Breakfast at Antonio's is a vegetarian and kid friendly restaurant :)
google avatar

Kristine M.

Yelp
The food was good, but not amazing, maybe I ordered the wrong thing. But let me tell you the ambience was everything! The view, the fresh air -- everything about it felt like I was in my own hacienda. Unfortunately, it was a little gloomy when we went, but that still didn't take away from the beauty of the place! Definitely a must when you're in Tagaytay for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city!
google avatar

Kim A.

Yelp
If you're going to Tagaytay, ALWAYS eat in at least one of the Antonio's restaurants. Yes, they're pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's fine dining for a reason. Breakfast at Antonio's is a breezy place, even in the summer. It's spacious and remains "maaliwalas" even with the volume of people who eat there. The servers are incredibly thoughtful and polite, and they really do try to give their customers the best experience possible. I wasn't sure if they served Milo, so I brought my own packets (yes, I'm that girl) and ordered a glass of chilled milk. The milk was wonderful on its own and even better in my self-served Milo drink. This time we ordered the mushrooms with duck liver and waited until 10:30 just to order the baby back ribs. We were not disappointed. That first bite of the first dish made our day. I'm pretty sure I'm going to dream about the gratinated mushrooms and berry-glazed duck liver for days to come. I have never ordered anything from the Antonio's chain of restaurants that I didn't absolutely gush over, so I'm going to say that order literally ANYTHING ON THE MENU. It will be fantastic, I promise.

Yelp
Alright alright... Let me explain. First off, Breakfast at Antonio's certainly serves a wonderful meal. Breakfast here is so hearty it will certainly carry you though the day. We have been to Breakfast at Antonio's on numerous occasions and it's never really disappointed me until this past Sunday, February 28, 2016. We frequent Antonio's, their white linen restaurant and I've gone as far out on a limb to tell friends, this joint could be a Michelin star rated establishment. So, I'm not sure what exactly happened this past weekend at their semi-casual breakfast restaurant. So let me dive right in to it. The hostess was on point, certainly inviting and had a warm personality as a hostess/host should, something you would expect from Antonio's. Once seated, I really felt the service was all downhill from there. The server, Alvin, was never on point, being there we're only 2 of us, he seemed to prioritize the larger parties. From attentiveness to simple tasks like making sure there's enough water in your glass, I felt extremely neglected. Not good considering breakfast costs us in upwards of a few thousand that morning for 2 people. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to food, there is NO dollar amount you can put on it for me, I am a self proclaimed foodie through and through. I had to flag Alvin down to take our order, I had to flag him down for water, to order drinks, to order dessert! I know for certain our water glasses were only filled once, by another server who saw we've been out of water for quite some time. The table next to us with a party of 8 had their glasses full every time Alvin passed their table. The servers yell aloud 'pare pare'', I felt like I was at some bar for a moment, please don't misunderstand me, I just believe that certain places require certain mannerisms to project a certain ambiance which you are expecting when going to a place like this. If I'm with my boys at some dive bar, I would say, that's totally acceptable. When the bill came and it was time to pay, my man Alvin was right there waiting for his tip... I myself, believe in etiquette and left a modest tip of 10% on top of their service charge. As we walked away from the table, before I could take a step, my man was reaching in, maneuvering his way to take the tip away, I also overheard someone tell Alvin, there you are again so quick. So regretfully, I'm very displeased with the service we received at Breakfast at Antonio's, VERY DISPLEASED, BEYOND DISPLEASED. So, let me get to the food... Really, as far as the food goes, I cannot complain. I've said it before and I will say it again... I HEART Foie Gras! Love it love it and against the best wishes of my doctor and soaring cholesterol, I'll take anything with a seared foie gras on top for a final meal! 1) I forget the name, seared portobello mushrooms over toast topped with a light gravy, topped with seared foie gras and I think a raspberry walnut reduction with a side of 2 eggs sunny side up! p700 - Super delicious! I will say it's a bit on the heavy side, or that could have been the pastrami sandwich i had for the appetizer! Yes, I did, don't judge! Overall just a fantastically put together dish, no complaints all praise for a well balanced plate with enough sweetness and acid to kick up the foie gras fatty texture. You seriously have to have this! 2) Eggs Benedict p400 - 2 Poached Egg, Smoked Ham on English Muffin Topped with Hollandaise Sauce, what you say??? No this wasn't my dish, but you know my fork manages to round the table as pates arrive. Just an all around delicious classic breakfast. I could compare this to the eggs benedict at Apartment 1b in Rockwell. 3) Homemade Pastrami p385 - served with Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, Onions, drizzled with Russian Dressing. Yes, this was... my appetizer! Overall decent, a very decent sandwich, I'm no sandwich expert by any means, but honestly, the sandwich could have just had mustard and a really decent mayo, and it would have been great. Again, not a sandwich expert, just I love pastrami sandwiches in NYC and those are pretty simple, bread, pastrami, sauerkraut, mustard... I usually put the mayo on after. 4) Freshly baked cookies... minimum order of 6, and takes about 30 minutes to bake. I don't know the cost, I just ordered the white chocolate macadamia-nizut cookies :) If you go and order this, say it just like that, white chocolate "macadamia-NIZUT" cookies! Heavenly served warm as they come out of the oven, gosh I wish I could have gotten a whiff of that aroma as these baked in the oven. We couldn't finish the 6, and today, 2 days later, still... still really good, very good, better than that actually and soft and chewey, and just oh so goodness. 5) Juices and pastries+ - Quite honestly, the OJ was a but watered down. The mango juice was on point. This is the Philippines, mango juice should always be on point. Overall... 2 stars for the HORRIFIC service.

Yelp
Great brunch place. Fresh ingredients. One of the very few places I felt safe having a raw salad in the Philippines. They make their own yummy dressings too. No thousand island here! Their house curry ketchup was yummy also. Sandwiches and pastries are American sized, and full of flavor. Tomato soup was flavorful and fresh. Staff was very courteous. If it weren't for the heavy rains, we would've had a great view of Taal lake and the valley. Will just have to come back another time.

Yelp
My family and I recently went there, with the implementation of the new health protocols and practices. All the staff were wearing face masks and shields. They had 2 contact tracing options, written or digital QR code. They don't have physical menus but have a QR code on the table where you can access the pdf version of the menu. Their adherence with the protocols was reassuring to us, health-wise. The food came in a relatively quick-pace and was absolutely delicious. The only negative experience we had was that whenever we needed something from the staff, we had to have a hand in the air for at least 5 minutes before anyone noticed us, but were quick to accomplish the request.

Yelp
Perhaps you don't have the budget to enjoy a meal at Antonio's in Tagaytay. The next best thing would be to pay a visit to Breakfast at Antonio's. A lovely place that has got a charming, relaxed, rustic atmosphere to it, Breakfast at Antonio's serves all day breakfast meals with a European touch. Everything here is made fresh, from the bread to their jam and curds. They serve breakfast favorites such as eggs benedict, French toast, pancakes, waffles, roestis, crepes, sandwiches, omelettes and so much more. It's breakfasts comfort food at its finest, served against the wonderful backdrop of the Taal Lake. Now tell me this isn't something you'd wake up extra early for.

Yelp
Most of my mini adventures revolve around food and whether it'd be in the city or a short drive away. What better day trip than a special treat to Antonio's Breakfast in Tagaytay! Antonio's has always been known to be a special destination for couples and families alike as destination meal! Its younger, more casual sister, Antonio's Breakfast, will not disappoint! Sitting on the highway, you won't miss this white house turned restaurant and its huge sign. As you enter the chatter of people coming together and plates coming in and out will fill the air. The menu is pretty simple, revolving around breakfast staples (who can say no to all day breakfast!), but also a bit pricey, the quality of the food won't let you down though! You can tell that they take their food very seriously and the quality of service too, just like you're eating in someone's house! It's a great venue for a quick breather from the city, the fresh air and the good food will keep your mind of the hustle and bustle of the real world. Also, that view of Taal is never a let down!

Yelp
I'm gonna be frank: I had a horrible experience. It was one time, but that one time really affected my view on Breakfast at Antonio's. We reserved a table days, maybe even weeks beforehand, but when we got there, the place was packed full of people, and we had to wait more than an hour to get seated. I was also dissatisfied by how easy their dishes ran out. Everything I had wanted was gone. I'm not even exaggerating! I had ordered 3 meals and for each time the waiter had to come back to tell me his apologies. The food's great. The experience wasn't. Just a tip: try going earlier in the day to get all the good stuff.

Yelp
High end and overpriced. The place was cozy and the serving was so so. I personally had the beef tapsilog that goes with one cup of rice and side dish. If you visit Tagaytay you may want to try for experience. But you can always get quality good food and spend less

Yelp
Had a late lunch here with three of my kabarkadas after an overnight trip to Batangas. We were on the way home and we decided that this would be the best place to grab a bite. Two of the girls had been there previously, while two of us hadn't. I knew I loved it the moment I walked in. White wood all around -- I felt like I was in a beach/mountain cabin and so I felt right at home. There's a little bakeshop on the side where one can order cookies, bread and other desserts and delicacies to take home or to eat in-house. No service charge if you get it to go. We sat down overlooking the gorgeous view of Taal Lake and I enjoyed their spaghetti bolognaise. The bathrooms are spic-and-span and service was great. Can't wait to be back.

Yelp
If you're headed for Tagaytay for the day or even a weekend, how does one resist Breakfast at Antonio's? It's like everything you want in your Tagaytay experience. The ambiance is very relaxing and it's quite breezy, which is perfect, when you simply want to escape the hustle and bustle (not to mention the HEAT) of Manila. It's pretty much all you could ask for in a gourmet breakfast. True, it's more expensive than most breakfast places, but I think it's worth it. My friends and I had breakfast there the day after climbing Mt. Batulao, so we were all pretty much ready to eat. We each made sure to order something different, so we could explore the menu a little more. I had the Eggs Benedict, which I found to be pretty tasty; I like their version of the Hollandaise sauce. My friend ordered the muesli which we all agreed was pretty yummy for healthy breakfast food option. If you want something to please your sweet tooth, the French Toast is worth the calories; turkish bread dipped in vanilla cream and cinnamon egg butter topped with Antonio's burnt syrup and hot apple compote. Mmmm. Whatever you decide to order at Breakfast at Antonio's, you're in for a treat. Pair your meal with one of their coffees or teas, and you're good to go. It would be nice to go outside and take a stroll, as they have a pretty garden where you can enjoy the breeze and the view of Taal lake.

Yelp
A trip up Tagaytay is never complete without a visit to Breakfast at Antonio's. Antonio's is the little and more accessible brother of the famous and award winning Antonio's, so you're safe to expect nothing but great things from it. My favorites will always be the truffle pasta and the morcilla pizza, not really a breakfast choice as most would order, but I've stuck to them ever since I had my first bite. But If you don't know what to order, and don't want to listen to me, I can guarantee anything you point at will be good (if you're not picky). Breakfast at Antonio's is an in-between place if you have cash and time to spare, because chances are you'll spend hours there without even noticing it, the view and the breeze will keep you.

Yelp
If you've eaten in Antonio's, there is no doubt you will like Breakfast at Antonio's. This place is located nearer to the city center and it's more visible because you pass by the main road to get here. The menu has no complications, the dishes are typically what you would see in breakfast places but in here you know you're getting good quality ones. I'm an eggs Benedict fan so I like the salmon Benedict here, or even the original one. It's nice to go here with a group so each one can order different things and you can try from each other's plates. I also love the pancakes and waffles here, I have a bias with waffles as I love how it's soft inside but a bit crispy on the outside. The omelette menu is also quite lovely - the restaurant enumerated the different kinds of toppings you can have. The restaurant is in Tagaytay so if ever you do get to go, make sure you get seated outdoors! The scenery is very serene!

Yelp
If there's such a thing as a 5-star breakfast restaurant, this would be it. They even have the perfect location-- just beyond the main city center but still along the main highway. The place has a black & white color scheme-- not anything cosmopolitan or industrial, but a truly homey cabin vibe. There's no airconditioning but it's completely fine because it actually gets really cold! You're in a bit more elevated spot of Tagaytay here. It's very homey yet modern, with an excellent, unobstructed view of Taal Volcano. It's a view from a different angle too, so you can stare wistfully and get pictures that don't look like every other Tagaytay childhood picture of Taal in your family photo album, lol. They sell really good bread along with other goodies and homemade products at the in-house bakery. There's usually a line to get in especially if you go on high-traffic times like Saturday or Sunday morning, but they usually get you seated right away anyway because the place is huge! Lots of tables to go around. Now the food. Beautiful, big plates, with delicious, inventive concoctions. Sure, you have the classic breakfast dishes, but there's also so many other combinations. It's like everything's a legit breakfast platter. If you're there for lunch, they have a different lunch menu that has even more variety that will make you want to just try everything! It's a really pleasant experience dining there because you get efficient, well-trained servers with almost hotel-like demeanors, you get top quality food, and the ambience is just well put together and seemed to have the comfort of the customer in mind. For example, there are these neat screens around the windows that allow the cool wind to blow through the restaurant while keeping gusts in control. There's also an outdoor bar-like area at the back, facing the gardens/Taal lake, where you can bring out your coffee/tea and have a 'moment' with nature. A bit pricey, but worth everything.
