Update a year later: we've been back twice since, both times preemptively checking that we weren't desperately hungry, and bringing some reading material for the presumed wait. Based on those two visits I'm cautiously optimistic and updating the rating from 2 to 4 stars. They seem to have shifted to a model where if they're understaffed, they don't fill all the seats, and instead have people wait outside. This leads to much more reasonable wait times between ordering and eating (maybe 20 minutes). Also they got rid of the breakfast "burrito".

We had such a good time our first couple of times here. Sure, pretty slow, but they were busy, and the food was good. But today was extra bad... 58 minutes, from 11:56-12:54, between ordering and food arriving. And the restaurant was half-empty! This really soured me on Breakfast Club. I can't rely on them; it's not enjoyable sitting for an hour wondering whether they've forgotten we exist, and whether we should leave and go find a bakery instead or whether that'd be too rude.
Plus, their "breakfast burrito" wasn't actually a burrito? Just some burrito ingredients sitting on top of a tortilla?? (See photo.)
