I was a bit worried to visit this spot upon seeing the other bad reviews, but I was glad I gave it a try. I went on a Thursday afternoon and there was only one other customer, so service was very quick. The atmosphere was very cozy and the interior definitely made it feel like I was back in the US, somewhere like Salem, Oregon or something. Music was a bit loud but I’m someone who does like it loud, so I don’t mind. The food was okay, but I mean, I still liked it. Although for some reason, it was quite saltier than I expected and I didn’t really like that. I did like the sourdough bread and whatever they used to coat that. I would say though for 1600¥, it’s a bit too pricey. All in all, I enjoyed my experience but wish the food was a bit better. I hope to come back again and maybe try something different.

Passed by this place countless times so it’s been on my list for a while 😗 Was worried about the other reviews mentioning the super long wait - no issues for me Came here on a weekday so didn’t know the pancake dish was weekend only (why?) I’ve seen the opposite often but whatever 😅 French toast will do! 1600 for the French toast dish. Super price but depends on the size. Seeing it described being made with sour dough, not much confidence Ngl 400 for ice coffee - no drink set available Dish wise, 3 big pieces of toast with powered sugar and some banana 🍌 and blueberry prices. Good amount for the price Taste wise? As expected kinda sour I like sour toast but it just doesn’t work well with French toast. Really needed the syrup not cancel out the sourness and even this it want enough I do wonder just WHY? 🤔 Even in the USA never seen a diner use sour toast for French toast I struggled to even finish it. Left some I definitely got full but kinda regretted it. Wouldn’t recommend the French toast at all but curious about the pancakes 🥞 Vibe is as expected, classic old school American diner. Super funny bathroom

Came in for the American-style breakfast and it was solid. It feels like a diner back home, so the vibe was good. Service was also excellent. The bacon was tasty, as were the scrambled eggs. I enjoyed the fact they had a sourdough bread option that you could change in place of the toast. I’d come back to try the desserts.

WARNING: Do not come here if you are hungry or value your time. We waited exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes just to get our breakfast. This is completely inadequate. What made the long wait even more frustrating was seeing how the staff operated. While it was obvious the kitchen was understaffed and struggling, one male employee was just standing around doing absolutely nothing. He was not helpful, nor was he welcoming or friendly. To make matters worse, the food was definitely not worth the wait. The avocado toast was disappointing: it was completely unsalted, the portion of avocado was very small, and the bread was way too soft. The egg was okay, but the French toast was terrible - it was burnt and looked nothing like real French toast Waiting over an hour for below-average food while staff stand idle is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place.

Worst brunch experience ever, I wanted to have a nice brunch but it turned out to be the worst I ordered coffee and French toast and the coffee was served at 13:30 French toast ? Served at 14:45. How does it take an hour and 15 minutes to to make plain French toast and in edition during that hour only 2 plates came out of the kitchen because the cook take regular smoke breaks and they are having nice conversations with each other which is good for them but they should stop yapping and start cooking first. the wait time for how many dishes are there are ridiculous, I couldn’t even take that much time to make French toast even if I tried to. by the time my French toast came it was already way past the craving of a French toast and I wanted something savory by this point, ate my French toast in sad feelings thinking I wish it was a kebab and it was cold too :( My dream of having a hot cup of coffee with warm French toast was long gone, instead cold French toast an hour old cup of Coffee gone it’s so sad and tragic no apology no nothing And due to the wired brunch time I couldn’t even finish my dinner

a tokyo staple. you’ll either meet hip people or if you’re luck on a slower evening, get a chance to chat with the staff or with Mama Luli herself. They speak very good english and have are very nice and knowledgeable. The food by George and Luca is amazing! On craft night you’ll get a chance to be creative and meet creative people. The music is also always perfect.

Had their Cuban sandwich, and holy moly! These folks know how to do brunch. Maybe I’m a little ignorant, but breakfast didn’t really seem to be a common option in Japan. The tunes and overall look of the place, combined with killer food make the vibe perfect. So, if you need some fuel to start your day in Shibuya, and you’re tired of food from convenience stores, this is the spot.

We went to a special event where they were making kebabs. It was impressive to see them make everything from scratch. Although it was pretty slow as there was only one chef, the wait was worth it. The pita bread was nice and crispy and the meat was marinated in a really tasty sauce. The atmosphere was great, with good music but a really young crowd (mostly early twenties). The only thing I didn't like was that it's a smoking bar so it's not particularly great to eat while there's plenty of smoke in the air
