BreakFree Adelaide Apartments – Great Value and Spacious Not flashy, but definitely spacious and does the job. We had a couple of apartments, and the two-bedroom layout was perfect for four people. There’s only one bathroom, but plenty of space with a good-sized lounge area to relax. The location is convenient—right near the university and a short walk to Hindley Street. While the decor is a little dated, everything was clean and functional. The kitchen is well-equipped and ideal if you’re staying for a longer period or traveling with family. We didn’t use the parking, but overall, it’s a solid alternative to a standard hotel room. More space, more comfort, and a great place to unwind. I’d highly recommend it.

Stayed here on 26/07/25 in RM142. Two bedroom apartment located in first floor across the courtyard. Check in was smooth & no hassles with Gary. Undercover parking at premises was $25 a night. Both stairs & elevator available for upper floors. Located at the west end of Hindley St. 1.5km walk to Rundle Mall. Room was neat & functional upon arrival. Queen beds in both rooms & they were comfortable. All the usual appliances in room. Good value.

I stayed just one night, but there was everything you could possibly need ie decent sized fridge, stove, microwave, utensils etc, a dryer and washing machine, air conditioning (I found it a bit confusing how to use this, so in the future it would be good to have instructions somewhere in the room). I found it odd that the digital alarm clock was in the 2 single bed room and not the double main bedroom, but no dramas as I had my mobile phone to wake me 🙂. Was quite quiet and slept well 😴. Great room. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was lovely and clean. The balcony was a nice surprise. A small area to enjoy some fresh air. And a short walk to the CBD . Very handy to the main street for food and entertainment. The Casino is just a couple blocks away.

Welcomed on arrival and provided with recommendations on where to eat. The welcome gift (as an ALL Gold member) was much appreciated. Spacious room with all amenities. Well located to everything we wanted to see and do in Adelaide.

We stopped for a very short stay, travelling between states. We just needed a place to sleep in. The location suited us perfectly. There were many restaurants and cafes on the same street and almost all other hotel brands in the vicinity. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Clean towels and bedsheets. We had some laundry so I was very happy to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. There is a microwave, oven fridge, kettle and everything you need to cook with, sets of cutlery and crockery too. Despite being located on the street, there was no traffic noise. They have a nice old townhouses vibe inside, trees and a few garden spaces with garden chairs. Garry and the lady at reception on the morning of 27th March were lovely.

The place is in a great location, clean and well equipped. Juliette in reception was amazing, from check in to check out. Thanks again and hope to see you soon again!

Stayed here for a week recently while on a trip to Adelaide. Didn't speak to the reception staff much but the lady who was there was really nice at Check In and Check Out. The price is really attractive compared to places down the road like The Rockford, and you basically get what is advertised. I didn't spend a lot of time in my room but there was a functioning kitchen and bed was clean + heater. Location is super convenient, especially with cafes very close by and trams to take you to Rundle Mall if you don't mind walking a bit. There was complementary room service as I stayed a bit longer. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to budget without compromising on safety. I was very happy here and will definitely consider future stays.
