The two bedroom apartment was good albeit in need of some basic maintenance. The pool was closed, but given it was outside, I don’t think I was going to use it. Service; what is that? Check-in was slightly more interested in assisting than check-out where talking to his friend was more important than asking if the room was good. Overall, not a bad option. Close to the city, reasonable walking distance.

Not having stayed here previously, we were unsure as to what to expect and were pleasantly surprised.|Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, well appointed and bright. The one downside was the need for an electric heater in the bedroom as the very efficient air conditioner had little effect there. This may not be an issue at other times of the year, but there was snow on the Brindabella’s on our first morning in Canberra.|Staff were unfailingly helpful and are a credit to the business.|We would be happy to stay there again when next we visit the ACT.

Receptionists assisted us with booking and late check in. The apartment was very spacious, we stayed a week and enjoyed staying inside to rest. Location was perfect for us yet if you wanted to be closer to shops you go other side of roundabout, distance wise you only 5 - 15mins to anything even to parliament side, easy to go in any directions, yet google maps was very helpful. Secure parking was great, lifts were quick and not overly noisy. One toilet roll for each guest isn't enough for a week especially when it's really thin paper and then get charged if you want more. Two garbage bags also not enough to keep kitchen cleaned. Instructions would be good for how to use oven, no oven tray was provided. We used up all dishes within 2 days so had to wash by hand instead of dishwasher as there was only enough powder for one cycle. Saucers aren't plates, they aren't entree plates at all, this was a huge let down, you were using non matching cutlery or dinner sets they were all bits of multiple sets and lots and lots of saucers. Suggested to Receptionist to leave notes in rooms on the heating/cooling Location and how to use would have been helpful as we didn't find separate heating control until last night hidden around a corner you wouldn't walk past due to placement of furniture and behind a huge lamp. It really just needed a bit of TLC that wouldn't had cost, like re hanging curtains so not half hanging off, curtains that actually fit and move would be good. Changing light switches so you don't have dangerous things sticking out of them would bemore appealing. I would come back to this hotel. There was a notice in lifts of refurbishments will commence yet not sure how long that was there for. Basic maintenance can go long way.

Great views but not very good customer service. Cleaning was lacking especially the air vent. Some staff couldn't speak English very well. Shower screens need replacing. No pamphlets in room about local restaurants; how to operate tv.

Stayed here last week, August 17–19, 2025, for a 2-night snowy mountain trip. The unit was great, a bit old but still fairly well-maintained, and for the price we paid, I found it worth it. Just few X things to consider : There’s no housekeeping service for stayovers, and no basic essentials are provided, such as dental kits and slippers (even upon request), which are usually complimentary in hotels, so make sure to bring your own. Also, FYI reception is not 24/7. Other than that, it was still a great stay; just what we needed. Parking was given for free and welcome drinks were provided for us for being an Accor Silver member. We truly appreciated the kind receptionist who checked us in. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Recommending this to everyone

Very disappointing check-in experience I booked this hotel expecting a smooth and timely check-in at 2:00 PM, as advertised. Instead, I was kept waiting with vague excuses. First, they said the room would be ready in 1 hour. After waiting that hour, they told me it would be another 45 minutes. No proper communication, no apology, just delay after delay. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel claiming to offer good service. If you value your time and want reliability, look elsewhere.

4 of us shared an apartment on the 8 th floor/room 803, with amazing views overlooking Lake Burley Griffin & Parliament House.|Handy location, although at this time lots of road works going on, testing navigation.|Overall the apartment accommodated most of our needs, although we were disappointed that the “tea caddy” had not been replenished, |* there wasn’t an egg lifter or tongs|* no dish cloth or spare rubbish bag|* hand cream was empty in main bathroom|* no toilet brushes|* no broom to sweep floor/carpet stained in lounge room|* doona was stained in first bedroom |* we thought only 2 face washers for 4 people wasn’t appropriate & an extra towel each for 5 days would have been appreciated.|But all in all a good handy apartment, even more so should the above be addressed.|Thank you.

Please see reviews before booking here. Arrived for a 3 night stay and found the room filthy You couldn’t even see the view properly as the windows, balcony was so disgusting dirty. The heating did not work rang reception 3 times in over a few hours never answered once. Went downstairs to tell them, she came to check and said wait 10 minutes ( been waiting all afternoon) for it to kick in, back down again as they don’t answer the phone she came back with attitude said I can give you another room without a view I said no I paid for a room with a view. She then said you can get a refund a go if you like. It’s school holidays where are we supposed to find something now. Will never book here again absolutely disgusting service, filth and no heating in Canberra for goodness sakes
