Great little cafe for a morning stop. My tuna wrap was a bit wet, but our smoothie and salmon bagel were great! Wonderful service, too!

Was in town to go to Universal Studios. Hotel was across the street and wanted something "healthy" before going to the park. This place has awesome smoothies and juices plus delicious breakfast sandwiches. It did not disappoint. The girl running the place was super nice and she was handling all the orders plus take-out. She deserves a raise! So glad we saw this place. We ate breakfast there both days!

Tried the grilled chicken feta & pesto wrap and workout formula smoothie. Both are incredibly good and healthy recommend to try out for yourself. Friendly service, too, no complaints from this store will try again if in the area.

Place is amazing. I was in town and decided to do a walk from to Hollywood house. It opens at 8. As I stand here it's 8:27and the place isn't open. Great spot but a bit annoyed that can't open on time. Place could be so great but stuff like this turns me off. Wasted my time walking here. Seems like a pretty standard thing to open on time .....

The food was super good. Definitely worth the wait. I would recommend trying power breakfast as a warp. I also have the juice here and it tasted really good. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite for breakfast

Like, the kind of place you'd wanna go with your squad after school. The decor was super cool, giving off those artsy vibes that make your Insta pics pop! 📸 But let's get to the real deal – the FOOD. 🤤 I ordered the "BFF Burger" and, OMG, it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. 🍔🎉 Juicy, perfectly cooked, and stacked with all the fixings. And the fries? Crispy heaven! 🍟✨ And guess what? They had tacos too! I mean, tacos are life, right? 💃 I tried the "Taco Party" and it was a fiesta in my mouth. Each taco was like a mini masterpiece, bursting with flavor and freshness. Enjoyed very much the tahini smoothie with maca and the green smoothie. The vegan Quinoa wrap was good too! Lots of fresh veggies, cabbage, green leaf as a wrap, carrots, hummus and quinoa, wrapped in green tortillas...good experience from this place. Helpful staff as well.

I love the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap, light, balance flavor and fresh ingredients. Açaí smoothie is good too. Clean and friendly staff.

The Owner (Cashier, Chef, Server) is awesome!!!! He is super pleasant, inviting and just a "Good Dude." I stopped in randomly on my way home from the Griffith Observatory on my Birthday with my Sister and my Brother who lives in Arizona. I had never heard of this establishment before but my Brother wanted to grab a Panini and I wanted a Smoothie. He found the location while we were driving and JACKPOT!!! It's a total hidden gem! Upon arriving we noticed a Starbucks next door and my Sister was thinking maybe Starbucks would be the more reliable place. My brother WANTED his Panini and I'm soo glad he did. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by a wonderful man who took the time to discuss his menu and helped us with a rather peticular request for a certain kind of Smoothie that wasn't really on the menu. Everything was amazing. The Panini, the 2 seperate Smoothies and an Acia Bowl were all on point. We enjoy a few moments at the restaurant and left very impressed. On the way home we kept saying that we should have got another one... in reference to everything we ordered. Shoot... I might have to go there today. See you soon. I will be returning!!! Decent healthy breakfast option. We came in when it opened on a Thursday before heading to Universal Studios. There was only 1 person working at the time but she got our food out pretty quickly. She wasn't friendly but it was whatever. All of the food had fresh ingredients and were assembled well. The acai was ok, a little runny. Compared to what's around here its a good choice for quick and healthy.

10/10!!! OMG this is probably one of the most delicious breakfasts i have had that i didn't know i needed. The wrap was so simple but so good and fresh. The chipotle sauce just added the extra flavor. I literately had to stop mid chew to compliment the chef on his creation. Cute clean quiet place with enough sitting There was only one person working his name was Andrew so i had to be a little patient but it was all worth it. Definitely coming here again!!

Always excellent - you may have to wait a little if you walk in and order but it's worth it. High quality ingredients for clean eating. I usually call in my order and pick up for convenience. Juices are the best and salads and sandwiches are so fresh and satisfying.

Sometimes the best idea is right in front of you, right? I work a short distance away and for the longest time was trying to find a place for lunch what was healthy, affordable and tastes good. I searched here finally, instead of driving around a little and found these guys. My favorite is the chicken cesar wrap. Love it. I've brought food for my boss and clients and our parking attendant. Everyone love the food. Super friendly crew. Feel like they're per of my work family now. It'll be one of your go-to's near work. I suppose you can eat here if you live in the neighborhood too, LOL!

You are charged almost 4% to use a card- people don't carry cash- wish this hadn't happened- great place but a sandwich is like 16$ now with taxes - this should be illegal- but it's a private biz so they can do them...how does the customer always lose?

Not bad, but small request: please put the sandwich together. Last two times I've come here they've literally just thrown the ingredients in a box. I'm picking up to get it to go, and it's hard to do an ikea sandwich assembly at 65 mph.

Delicious, clean, quick, organic and healthy. I recommend ordering in advance for pick up. It's the perfect place to grab and go for healthy eats. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. I think your menu needs to be updated.... I just went to pick up an order I called in over the phone & it was more expensive than what the menu says. For a wrap & a juice....maybe I have an old menu? ‍

We've been going here for years and it never disappoints! The staff are so so friendly and I always feel super welcome inside. The wraps and sandwiches are always delicious.

Found this place by chance and swing by. The shop lady was super nice and all the food and drink we tried were pretty good. I wish this place was close by from my home.

The Mediterranean Wrap is delicious! The spinach tortilla is put on the panini press making it more crisp instead of thick and doughy like you find at most other places. The chicken, lettuce and cucumber taste fresh instead of like the rubbery or waxy chicken with bitter veg that you find at other places. The hummus is creamy and lemony and the olives and feta give it even more layered flavors and textures. A bonus for me is the to-go container is the recyclable cardboard/paper kind. I try to avoid cafes where to-go containers are styrofoam or plastic. High marks to Ara and staff. Will come again for lunch soon!

I was passing by this place dreaming about something refreshing and not too heavy for a midday snack. And found this juice bar with healthy food! The place is small, but cozy and has variety of really healthy dishes. Nice to take away and enjoy it outside with fresh air. I had a banana-strawberry smoothie which made my day! Can't say that is my favourite fruit, but in this smoothie it was really good

Hours listed said open until 6. Arrived at 7 minutes til 6. Open sign was lit. Door was locked. If you're hours of business state you're open until 6 then stay open until six. Don't come out of your office and see someone at the door only to ignore them and go back into your office.

My friend and I decided to order for pick up for lunch. This is located in a plaza next to Starbucks. There's a small parking lot in front. It's not that hard to get a spot. I ordered the Chinese Chicken half salad, my friend got the Mixed Berry half salad, and we split the turkey avocado wrap. I checked into Yelp (so I got the 15% off discount) and it totaled to be $22. The Chinese Chicken salad and wrap were pretty good. Nothing extraordinary, but it was delicious. We will probably be ordering from this place again.

Management or something has changed here. Used to love ordering healthy food but their customer service has plummeted... I called to place an order and when I asked for a list of ingredients in the bread, they read them to me but when I had to cancel my order because of allergies, and they HUNG UP on me... not the first time the waitstaff has been short on the phone. Also prices are very high, last time I paid almost $20 for a small sandwich because of the gluten free bread add-on, sadly won't be coming here anymore.

I don't get over the hill too often...so, when I do, I am always anxious to try out different places. Breakroom Cafe was directly across the street from the office I was working out of so our team walked across the street to Breakroom Cafe. It was busy, which is a always a pretty good sign to me. We called our order in, so our wait time was minimal. We just needed to pay. A co-worker and I ordered together to share. I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad. She ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap. We decided to eat there. There is plenty of inside seating, free wifi (always a bonus) and good music playing (on a pretty decent speakers, strategically located so that the music is ambient not overpowering). Now, for the food. I love Chinese Chicken Salads, it is all about the dressing! The dressing has to be the right combination of tangy and sweet...and BRC got it right! The CCS has sliced almonds, mandarin slices, wonton strips, nice chunks of chicken and the sweetest tangiest dressing! I could probably drink the ginger sesame dressing! By far, it is the best I have had in a long time! Don't even get me started on the Chicken Caesar Wrap...yum. It is a wrap grilled on a spinach tortilla so the grilled chicken and shaved Parmesan are warm and the homemade Caesar dressing is just scrumptious. Oh, did I neglect to mention that there is a juice bar? How could I let that slip? The pomegranate Paradise smoothie was mouthwateringly delicious with pomegranate, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberry sorbet...it was the perfect way to top off a delicious lunch! The juices are all pressed fresh everything is organic it's absolutely amazing. I'm very interested in trying this 5 day juice cleanse...after NYE, of course. BRC's got me looking for excuses to go visit the office in Universal City so I can go back to breakroom café!

Came here today. Place was empty except for one person. Two people were working. I ordered a PBJ smoothie, an açaí bowl and a detox smoothie. Took 20 min and the guy forgot our detox smoothie. Literally had to wait another 15 minutes for it. They were not busy and only one person was working while the other employee was cleaning and chatting with the guy making the smoothie. I would come again because their smoothies and bowls are fresh and delicious but can we please get our staffing and wait times under control?

Omg Ally and Jenny were amazing. They got my order correct, and they took the time out to understand my sandwich. I'm a very, picky vegan, so it's refreshing to get good service. The food was amazing. Don't walk there, RUNNNNNNNNN!!!!

Such a great find in Universal City! Perfect for something healthy before tackling Universal Studios. Break Room Juice Bar was only a few minutes away from the theme park and was key in having some energy for the day (and not wasting money on unhealthy food). Had the breakfast sandwich with foccacia and the Body Cleanser juice, while my husband enjoyed the Wrap with a Kick, all delicious! Service was impeccable and the person working was very helpful in navigating the menu with her recommendations. Thank you!

I tried this place for the first time and loved it! They have a bunch of salads, wraps, sandwiches and smoothies here. The smoothies are around $6-8 each, the sandwiches and wraps are about $7-10 each and the acai bowl is $7.99. They only have one acai bowl option, but boy is it pretty good. The acai bowl comes with blueberries, granola, bananas and strawberries. There is a decent amount of tables, chairs and high chairs. This place is good if you are looking to get/eat something healthy. There is free parking in front or back, but the lot fills up quickly. If there is no parking in the lot, there is also metered street parking that you can park at. The location is right off the 101 freeway and next to the 101 freeway entrance. The cafe is next to a starbucks. They have free wifi and a bathroom here. I would recommend this place to other people.

Stopped here after an amazing hike at Runyon Canyon. They have great cold pressed juices. We got the C-Blast, Liver Cleanse, and the Green It. All were very good and I'd definitely come back. They have food and snacks too. Although it looked great, we weren't in the mood for solid foods. Definitely stop by here if you're looking for a delicious & nutritious juice!

This place is great.... The employees are always polite & friendly. All of their sandwiches are great... (which does makes deciding quite challenging)... & while I do love blenders and Jamba Juice I gotta say... most of Break Rooms drinks would give them a run for their money in a blind taste test... & let's not forget THEY DO BREAKFAST TOO!

Clean environment and clean eating! The ingredients in my wrap that I ordered (Grilled Chicken Feta & Pesto Wrap $9.99) was delicious! Soft texture and amazing flavor. Highly recommend this place

I give it two stars not because of the quality of the food, but because of my journey working with this place. I have a small business down the street and for a while we would eat here at least 2 to 3 times a week. We supported them during the pandemic by ordering constantly. They remodeled the store (so clearly, they made it through the pandemic OK) after that, employees left and by 2023, they raised their prices so high we couldn't really make sense of ordering from them anymore. Partly due to the inconsistencies in the food prep and service. Partly because we were paying 80 bucks for three people to eat lunch. This at a place where you order at the cashier with no table service at all. I wish them the well and I'm only putting this out there so that they can correct whatever issues they might be going through right now as a result of their business maneuvering over the last year.

A solid sandwich and juice shop! Their drinks looked delicious but I got the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich. It was great, but nothing to write home about - and that's what the rest of their menu looked like too. A very solid 4/5 though! Pricing is standard for LA. After adding chips, tax, and tip, my lunch came to $17. Would eat here again for the same sandwich! Filling.

Their vegetarian delight sandwich should be called the best avocado sandwich ever. Perfect combo of toasted wheat bread, avocado, red onion (super thin sliced) & pumpkin seeds. Seriously it is the best.

The avocado toast was pretty good, 2 stars for that, would recommend. But unfortunately, the açaí bowl I ordered was simply not good. There were 5 brown and mushy banana slices on top and I paid $1 extra to get cacao nibs and they sprinkled *maybe* 10 on it. Felt ripped off for the extra cost. The açaí mixture itself was...mucus-y. They must have used bad bananas in the mixture because it really tasted like it and the consistency was bizarre and gross. I hate wasting food, but I could only stomach a few bites. I'm hoping I just caught them on a bad day (maybe just a bad bowl), but I can't order from here again.

Sometimes, just being out and about you run into a little gem. Not often mind you, just sometimes. Grabbing a coffee at Starbucks with my friend, just down the street from Universal's City Walk, we were walking back to our car and decided to get a little nosh. We walked into The Break Room Cafe and ordered two of their breakfast burritos. Holy cow were they good. I mean as fresh as fresh could be. These suckers were so packed with goodies it perked up my ears and made me say, "Damn"! I never heard of this place and bam, there we were eating this beauties. I like experiences like this. They catch you by surprise and puts a smile on your face.

The first time I went to The Break Room it was for a simple post work out smoothie. I wasn't excepting much but walked out with bottles celery juice, watermelon juice and two smoothies...and a delicious panini. So much for the workout! Everything is delicious and freshly made while you wait so give then a little time. Be good to yourself and enjoy this healthy spot.

This is a MUST on every trip to LA. Eco friendly cafe that serves healthy, but delicious, breakfast options; as well as, cold pressed juices for a more enhanced cleanse plan at home. I dream about their Açaí Bowl-it's perfectly blended with a crispy granola and fresh bananas and blueberries toppings. The breakfast sandwiches are tasty, too. Only complaint is the overtly loud commercial blender and parking is limited (Welcome to California!) I always stay at the hotel across the street, so it's within walking distance. I grabbed a couple cleanse juices--the Liver Detox and Green Cleanses to try at home and really loved the flavor. Wish I could get these in Vegas.

Simple ingredients but our food was somehow GREAT. We got the Universal Veggie sandwich and a feta egg burrito also. They have an awesome vegetarian and vegan selection, and the lady working was so sweet too! Our food came out fast. The prices really aren't bad either. Overall really good experience!

I have been wanting to write a review for Break Room Cafe for years now. I guess the day has finally come for me to put my thoughts together and write my review. Where do I start. This is NOT one of those regular cafes that most people go to.It is very different, unique, flavorful, tasty with great service, clean atmosphere, with delicious food/smoothies/juices to try from their extensive healthy menu. I have been going to this place for many years now. Not that often, because it can be a bit expensive for my budget. Food is always fresh, good salads, wraps and sandwiches. Their refrigerators are fully stocked with drinks, and they also have different variety of chips to choose from. My only concern is that they only have one or two employees working and sometimes you wait 15to20 minutes for your order to be ready. The place is cozy with nice art work on the walls and 8 times out of 10 is very clean. (including the bathroom.) However, the last 2 times that I was there with my son, there were 3 tables that was not clean with dirty cups and dishes there. Also trash was on the floor by the window seats. I am NOT going to remove a star, hoping that the management will be on top of this and keep the place spotless clean!! This is a 5 star establishment so it will be a shame if this lovely place looks dirty. Needless to say: my son and I were there for a little over an hour and that area stayed dirty and messy for that entire time. I will be back to try other items on the menu that I have not tried yet. Keep up the good work and keep this cute, tiny, lovely place clean!!

I just waited 40 MINUTES for a strawberry banana smoothie. And every time I asked for an eta on my smoothie, I couldn't get a straight answer. Come for the food, but I warn you, that's a good 20 mins as well. One guy on smoothies wasn't enough today. Instead of 3 people standing around with idle hands, at least one of them needed to help prep the next smoothie. It's easy, just help out. The problem today was mainly that no one was in charge, no manager on duty to make sure the business ran smoothly. There were 6 irritated customers wondering why no food or drinks were coming out. Someone needs to be there to get things back on track.

I love Break Room Cafe , you are always made to feel welcome and Lucy cooks everything with the special ingredient .. Love !! I'm not joking .. the food is fantastic . My wife and I are regulars and I don't even have to tell Lucy my order anymore .. great food , great value , great people .

Your basic açaí bowl. The amazon bowl is very banana-y, about the average size but more on the pricey side at $9.99. Not really blended well and they take a pretty long time to serve you. I'm sure you can find more quality spots nearby. Free WiFi + ice water though.

I went to the Starbucks next door, but ended up coming inside here instead. Best decision ever. The food is so delicious. I came back the next day and got the same thing! A little pricy, but a large portion size and good food makes up for it.

The best for smoothies or breakfast wrap or sandwiches. The wrap with a kick or the universal veggie is my favorite with any of the smoothies AMAZING.

I started working nearby and stopped here one day for a smoothie and was pleasantly surprised. The smoothies are really good and they have them ready within 5 minutes (can't speak to the other reviews that say they've waited a long time for food but every time I've come it's been really fast) The pricing is pretty typical for a boogie smoothie place (10-11 a pop) but really good so I'm down to treat myself every once in a while.
