Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa

I can’t begin to even explain this last week there! I had the time of my life! The service is great, the place smells AMAZING rooms smelt amazing! Had a burnt out light bulb on our patio and they came right away to fix it! Their courteous call when arrived to make sure room was good and we didn’t need anything and also the calll before we left making sure our stay was good meant a lot! The entertainment shows, this is truly the best shows I have ever seen! The fire show! You will not want to miss that one! The food was great! Our server Sergio was our favourite and we would request him every morning and dinner at the à la carte! Such a nice man! But even when we didn’t get him they were all nice! Every morning they would remember us and great us with a smile! Our maid Uielka kept our room spotless everyday! The kind men who constantly kept our room fridge stocked! The beautiful ladies in the cafe for always creating fun things in our morning coffee and welcoming us with a bright smile. Martin at the towel hut, always happy and smiling and would make us smile daily with just interactions with the other guest! Ventura ( I believe is his name) who cooked our omelettes every morning! He was great! And a huge shout out to all the workers who we would watch everyday set up for the nights entertainment and have it look amazing! And having torn down and ready to redo the next one for the next day! Truly hard working! I literally love this place! Thank you from room 1211

We had the BEST vacation here!! As soon as we arrived, Anebell at the front desk made us feel welcomed and had our room ready at 2:30 even though it wasn’t supposed to be ready until 3 pm. The activity staff including Espagheti, Shantey and more were incredible. They work SO hard and there was never a moment they weren’t smiling. Big shoutout to Marty who was at the towel hut during our visit. She might just be the coolest person ever - she is so sweet and her hard work did not go un-noticed. Her positive attitude was contagious. The bartenders like Carlos P, Antoni, Yohan, Giovani and the waitstaff like Jose, Wilson and so many others I am forgetting their names made every single drink and meal beyond enjoyable. They say it’s not the place, but the people, and Breathless truly is the epitome of that. I hope that each one of these workers gets shown the appreciation and kindness they so greatly deserve. Thank you to everyone at Breathless who made our stay unforgettable!!!

This was the most wonderful and relaxing vacation! The service, attention to detail, food, access to any everything you could need to enjoy your stay and the impeccable cleanliness of this resort was an 11/10. The ambiance, music, modern/carribbean style architecture and overall design were superb. We couldn't have been more impressed with our stay at Breathless. From our arrival to when we left, the staff was outstanding. Paola, the concierge who took care of us upon arrival, was so kind, professional and helpful in providing us with all the help and information we needed for our stay. She even helped upgrade our room and book our spa appointments for us. Our room attendant, Claribel, went above our expectations....leaving us small surprises, kind notes, additional everything that we asked for and most importantly----kept our room perfect! Kudos to this amazing staff member. Jose, who was our server at the exhale grill yesterday afternoon, helped us not only book our dinner at the French restaurant but he also found us at our table and had the chef prepare us a special off-menu shrimp dish. He and so many other staff members took amazing care of us. If you are debating where to stay, don't look further!!

Breathless Punta Cana has the best most attentive butler on the island. We stayed in room 4323 and had Willy as our bulter. This guy was amazing. He made sure our stay was full of activities and impeccable service. He worked with the restaurant managers to ensure our meals were personalized. He had us set up at the beach every morning. If anything was out of order or not as expected he made it right. Hands down the best service we've ever received at a resort.

We just left today after being at Breathless for a week. Typicallly, we are Sandals brand lovers but had to pivot and decided to try another all inclusive. Heres an honest review: Staff: Everyone was incredibly nice and while they spoke spanish, they really tried to help with the English they knew. Housekeeping was always on top of it and attentive when I requested extra wash cloths or body wash refill. Tipping: Expected and about $2 is normal to give after meals and waitresses who bring drinks at the beach/pool Room: Very spacious and had a garden view which was just fine. Every room has a balcony jacuzzi but no curtain so get naked at your own discretion 🙃 Brush your teeth with bottled water!! Food: I have traveled to so many island and this is the first one ive ever had to buy pepto and literally had GI issues daily. I could never pinpoint the cause...Definitely think it was due to bad temps on food..who knows..but don't drink the water or the OJ, it tastes like Tang. Beach: The beach was great and the seaweed was well maintained..only one day had more than most but thats Mother Nature for you. The vendors are polite and move on when you say no thank you. Pool: The party pools are definitely that...a party. The quiet pools behind the rooms are where its at! A bar tender, music is playing so loud from the party pool you can hear it at a decent volume and soo many chairs to choose from! Resort: Well laid out and good entertainment. There is a casino on site! There is a lot of smoking in property. Overall, if you need a cheap get away and have an Iron Clad GI system, go!

My husband and I stayed for two weeks, we wish we could stay longer. The service is phenomenal. Everyone is helpful and delightful. The restaurant food is no match with a Secrets, but the staff is great. The entertainment is spectacular. The people that really made our time enjoyable were Rafael the bellman, Kelly our concierge, Ursalenny, Larisa, Noelia, Charlene, Pending, Wilson, Anthony, and Ulysses. They really make you feel like family.

My husband and I just finished up our honeymoon at Breathless and we had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We got the Xhale Club services and our “butler”, Jesus was so helpful and attentive. He helped us with all of our reservations and let us know about all of the daily activities at the resort. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and our waiter, Wilson was incredible. He greeted us almost every morning even when he wasn’t waiting on us. Truly spectacular staff!!

This was such an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Manager, Gregory always made sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything. Lucie accommodated us at check in when we weren't totally satisfied with our room. Jacob took care of us several times at breakfast and dinner and knew exactly how we liked how drinks. Andrea was such a friendly soul during our time on the beach. Her smile was so infectious and she made us feel like she enjoyed taking care of us. Hands down, one of my best experiences in the Caribbean! My only cons were that our face clothes didn't get replenished daily. We always had to call for them. Some of our food would come out cold or luke warm, but they always corrected it. They had this amazing chicken sausage, but only served it once during our 5 day stay.
