Overall, the location is gorgeous with a beautiful view. However, the overall experience is pretty subpar. There really is no customer service except behind the main bar. The inside is very nice with live music. If you sit on the outside patio, there is no music. No waitress/waiter checking up on your party, taking orders, picking up trash, cleaning the area, etc. You have a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready, and you go inside to pick it up. The food is nothing special. Very basic items on the menu that are served in plastic take away boxes. Once you're done with your meals, you have to clean up your own table. Bathrooms are a disaster. Smells like death, dirty tissues everywhere, and dirty stalls. The positives: overall view is beautiful, prices are very affordable, and the customers all seemed very happy. Staff seems friendly. Overall experience: if you want a casual place to sip on wine and eat basic foods for an affordable price with a decent view, check this place out. The overall cleanliness and lack of customer service needs works in my opinion. Check out the pictures for reference.

I had a pretty mixed experience at Breaux. We visited as a group of 12 and were told we couldn’t sit outside on their balcony because of the risk of our “noise” bouncing off the covered roof, which felt a bit off. They also wouldn’t let us split into two smaller groups to make it work, so we had to sit inside. The vibe inside was… interesting. Lots of fake flowers and parrots for their Key West event, which felt out of place at a vineyard in Virginia. I’m not sure why you’d want to pretend you’re at a Florida retirement home when you’re surrounded by beautiful Virginia countryside. A few other odd choices: they don’t offer free drinking water, even though they’re serving alcohol. You have to buy plastic bottled water, which seems irresponsible, especially since everyone has to drive to get there. This alone docked a star—why not offer free tap water? Food came in plastic clamshell containers with plastic cutlery, which felt wasteful. The po boy was just a shrimp sandwich—no battered or fried shrimp and no shredded lettuce as you’d expect from an actual po boy. The charcuterie was pre-made and pulled from a fridge covered in plastic wrap, not fresh or made to order. That said, the staff were friendly, and the wine was decent and relatively reasonably priced (about $30 a bottle, $20 for a tasting). The outdoor grounds were nice too—it’s just a shame we couldn’t enjoy them properly. Overall, it felt like some strange decisions from management took away from what could be a nice experience.

Nice vineyard, plenty of tables and selection of wines. The place was nice, but minus one star for the wines. The best one we had was Chere Marie. Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.

Wholeheartedly recommend. Pros: - Nice dry wines with full flavor - which can be hard in VA to produce. Also has sweet options, including sangria. - Pet friendly both outdoors and inside; they even have an area that you can be inside with your pet! This is quite unique for VA wineries/breweries. - Personal food only outside, but once you finish eating your food outside you can move about wherever you like. You can sit wherever if you buy their food. - They had a variety of seating arrangements outside. They even had a large tent area for groups - Friendly staff, who were patient and helpful when picking a wine to suit your tastes. - Live music - visited on a Sunday afternoon, and live music until 5pm! - Beautiful scenery, and a large amount of their own grapes. - Inclusive food menu with beyond burger as an option for Vegan/Vegetarians. Opportunities: - Water; as mentioned in other reviews, bring your own water or pay $2.50/bottle (Aug 2025). They did also have other non-alcoholic drinks. They stated they have "agricultural" water that is not safe to drink. What do they use when washing dishes for cooking in the kitchen? Not sure why they couldn't just install a reverse osmosis sink filtration system or another suitable water filter/water fountain. We can bring our own water but it is a bit mind boggling.

This is one of our favorite wineries! They are semi-dog friendly inside with only the room on the right by the patio, which was a little warm due to the hot and humid July temps, but better than outside in all of that heat. The wines are delicious, the service is excellent, and the scenery is spectacular!

This has to be one of the best vineyards I visited. It has a very beautiful view. They have a very good collection of wine 🍷 We visited during a key west festival and we witnessed a pretty good crowd. Everyone has dressed up very pretty and we had a very beautiful day. Not to forget the bands that played. They were amazing . Overall a best experience. We are definitely going to stop one more before the winters hits.

Not a great first time here today. The lady at the counter seemed tired & not happy to be there. Ordered a chicken sandwich but got sliders. They were yummy and we enjoyed the white wine flight, but probably would not come back here.

The wine is excellent, the staff are super knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, the facilities are pristine, the events are well organized, the food is delicious, and the overall environment is classy and very down-to-earth all at the same time. Parking is easy and organized. Staff are typically waiting to greet customers, provide information, direction, and willing to help. I've been here multiple times. Each time is the same--perfect.
