Breezy Hill Orchard

Edit: the quality control isn’t the best sometimes on off days it’s a little dry but usually it’s super moist and flavorful. I love these. Their cider donuts are so good.

Got their cherry pie and their blueberry pie, along with some apples and a salsa verde chicken tamale. This was at a farmers market in Keene, NY. Absolutely delicious, 11/10. Wish I could eat their pies every day.

OMG! I cannot say enough nice things about Elizabeth and her team at Breezy Hill Orchard. They went out of their way to accommodate a special order for an event we hosted in NYC. The gingersnap cookies are beyond delicious. Do whatever you can (hit the Union Square green market in NYC) to get your hands on these cookies, you will be happy you did!

I tried one of their cider donuts from their stand in Union Market but unfortunately it wasn’t really good. The donut tasted old and I feel like the recipe ingredients must have been off because the texture of the donut was strange. Possible over mixing due to the large air holes in the donuts. Probably won’t try again.

I paid $16 for 1/2 a dozen Apple Cider Doughnuts at the Union Square Christmas Market. When I got home there was a sugary syrup pooling at the bottom on the container. I have never experienced this with an Apple Cider Doughnut. Hard pass on these. Disappointing.

I never write reviews, but these people deserve their flowers. I have raved about them all week. Their apple cider doughnuts and hot apple cider are addicting and delicious. I tired them from their Bryant Park Winter Market shop. I have come back several times in the past three weeks. Their doughnuts and apple cider have a perfect amount of sweetness, that is not overbearing. The doughnut was perfectly moist and the cider had a perfect blend of flavor.

I just received their 6 pack of fruit pies from QVC (2 apple,2 blueberry, 2 pumpkin). The pumpkin pies are 3 inches across and 1.25 inches deep-they are $12 a piece !!!!!!!!! This is the WORST value for your money ever-BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is honestly the best apple cider donut I’ve ever had in my life. It’s absolutely incredible, especially when eaten warm—though I couldn’t enjoy it fresh and warm, which was a bit disappointing. However, when I reheated it at home in the oven, it was just perfect. I truly don’t understand why some of the other reviews are so negative. I get that maintaining consistent quality for every single donut might be challenging, but isn’t that a reasonable risk when supporting small businesses? Unlike products from large corporations, these small-scale businesses bring unique products and new experiences to the table, and I think the occasional inconsistencies are a fair trade-off for that. I just hope I can continue enjoying these amazing donuts for as long as I’m living in New York!
