Brennan's B&B

Stayed here this week for a few days, what a lovely little place. Kathleen was a great host and served us the best Irish breakfast I have ever had. I would definitely return again.

Lovely B&B. Kathleen is a lovely host. Fresh scone on arrival. Kettle, coffee, tea, mini fridge available. Bed/room is comfortable, good size room, good shower. Kathleen has a very good menu selection for breakfast. Breakfast is extra from booking.com and at €7.50 is a no brainier. It's def a steal. If passing through Glenties I recommend staying here.

My mom and I had such a wonderful stay here. Kathleen was SO helpful and made sure we were as comfortable as possible ❤️ The town is great, and it was so nice to have dining and shopping so close by! There are many wonderful things to see and do in the area. The landscape will take your breath away ❤️ One of the favorite parts of our trip that we will always remember fondly ❤️

Our stay at Brennan's was a delight from the moment we arrived. Cathy has a terrific location being right on Main street in Glenties. The rooms for our golfing foursome were immaculate and the breakfast selections were delicious and plentiful. Cathy was engaging with an Irish charm that was certainly endearing and made our stop there especially memorable. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance......and don't miss a nightcap pint at Leo's across the street. We were lucky to enough to share in a football celebration there.......with Leo himself the night we stayed!

Brennan's is a very cute, well run bed and breakfast. The host couple are very lovely and ensure that everything with your stay is fine. The breakfast was excellent! Be sure to try the wee lemon pancakes, as they are delicious. We stayed in the room with a full kitchen and found everything to be very clean and in good order. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern with up to date fixtures.

All pieces of a great B&B come together here. Kathleen and Francis Brennan take great pride with down to earth welcome in this well run, beautifully designed and meticulous old large home. These are doers, who cover all corners, I loved the experience and truly wish I could have stayed longer. The location is smack in the center of the sweet town of Glenties in co Donegal. Kathleen is the kind of woman who very casually is interested in making sure her guests are just fine. The rooms are smashing, beds so comfortable, the bathroom bright and airy. Breakfast just delightful. This is a well deserved 5 stars.

We stayed with Kathleen Brennan last weekend while doing a walking trip in west Donegal. We arrived literally dripping wet. She took all the wet clothes and boots had them washed, dried and sitting outside our bedroom door the following morning...no questions asked!!||As for the food, service and authentic friendliness it was simply superb. This B&B is a real gem and a testimony to what Irish hospitality should be. Hugely impressed!!

Visited this lovely B&B and instantly felt welcome. The decor was very tasteful and traditional. Lace cloths, fresh flowers and formal furniture complete the look. Lots of little extras in the bedroom & ensuite too - shower caps, gels, tissues, hairdryer, fluffy white towels and proper drinking glasses. The welcome tray of wheaten bread, jams and coffee/tea was a lovely touch. Breakfast was excellent too (everything you could wish for) with homemade pancakes served as a final gesture - simply delightful! We will definitely be returning to this B&B. |
