I booked this hotel as it was the most convenient and economic option when visiting the University of Aberdeen (its literally right across the road). Parking is free at a nearby location (about 100m away) and was explained by the owners prior to my arrival. My single room at the front was warm but dated and rather worn, especially the bathroom which is overdue a refit. ||A no-frills cooked breakfast with instant coffee is offered each day, which was good value considering the budget price of the room. Other guests are mainly visiting research students so some interesting conversations over breakfast! The owner was very nice and most helpful which somewhat makes up for the tired appearance of the accommodation. Overall, this is a decent choice for visiting students and researchers on a budget - just don't set your expectations too high.

The owners of this B&B - Steven and Mary - are fantastic hosts for a traveller. Their service attiutde is above all expectations. They woke up before 6 o'clock to make me warm ham and cheese croissants in my last morning in Aberdeen and the cheese omelette was the best I've ever eaten.||I had a silent room. Traffic did not disturb at all. Everything is bit old but in good condition except maybe my tiny TV.

Really nice Chinese couple running this place. The breakfast was good enough and the room was well thought through - with a load of coathangers and a multipoint extension lead just next to the bed. It would be a good idea to take your own shampoo/shower gel though. Quiet place. I went over a weekend, so was able to park outside on the road: the facilities appeared to include free parking when I booked, but I didn't see a car park. I would stay there again.

After a terrible coach journey from Sheffield I was welcomed by Steve after midnight. My breakfast order was taken and I was shown to my single room No5 on the ground floor. The room was small with single bed, hanging space, draws, hairdryer, kettle & tv. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains blocked out the light. I was woken by a rattling room door. I shoved a chair against it to stop it. I heard no road noise. The shared loo & shower room was shabby but the shower was powerful hot & clean. I had clean towels everyday. |Breakfast was lovely but basic (no baked beans or sausage) cheese omelet was delicious. I had fresh orange and coffee. Steve was lovely and friendly and chatted every morning. I bought a weekly bus pass and explored Aberdeen all week from this great base and will return.|With a little TLC to replace light bulbs & rusty radiators i would have given 5 stars.|All in all a lovely traditional B&B

Delicious & filling breakfasts (I highly recommend the cheese omelette!). Rooms comfortable & clean, especially recommend for those who like a firm mattress. Conveniently close for visiting at the University of Aberdeen, & a pleasant half-hour walk to downtown (or a quick bus ride).

Great location and lovely friendly owners. I had a single ground floor room with shared shower room. Breakfast was tasty ..cheese omelet delicious. Room was clean, fresh towels every day. Tv & hairdryer. Fixtures and fittings a bit tired. Had to shove a chair against the rattling noisy room door to stop it. Bus stops out side

Fantastically accommodating hosts in ideal location close to Aberdeen University and Seaton park.
We had to book a night last-minute; Mary and Steven were nonetheless perfectly welcoming and friendly, making up a lovely room for two. Mary was helpful with local knowledge and recommendations. The vegan breakfast option was much appreciated.
We shall certainly be recommending this stay to friends and relatives who visit Aberdeen!

The best part of Brentwood Villa has to be Mary, the owner. So sweet and kind, she woke up early to make sure we had breakfast before an early train ride. The breakfast room was nice and had tea/coffee, fresh fruit and cereal available around the clock. Mary’s breakfasts were hearty and fulfilling. Located directly across from the University of Aberdeen, it was very convenient for us, since we were touring the campus. Great little place!
