This cafe has a sleek minimalist aesthetic, and with their higher pricing compared to other cafes, this sets high expectations for their coffee. However, I was disappointed when the staff served my dine-in coffee in a takeaway cup, despite my request. I value how baristas present their coffee, especially there are seatings in the cafe and this is not a takeaway kiosk. The flat white was also not smooth or strong, which both adding up to the disappointment.

I've been coming to this place for years. The coffee here is completely consistent with a subtle flavour. Importantly it is served at the correct temperature to be drinkable straight away. The cakes are made in house, the pastry is the best available in Oxford, and in particular the chai is outstanding; it is not a powder, but rather a specially made syrup. The baristas are approachable and well-trained. The coffee is ready quickly. Perfect for taking on a walk around the nearby university parks.

Really lovely atmosphere and good light. I once had an oolong tea that was delicious. Unfortunately their coffee program needs some fine tuning, so coffee aficionados may be disappointed, but still it’s a nice shop for a warm break. Milk was just a bit burnt, which made the coffee tasted burnt. Filter coffee should probably be a lighter roast

Amazing coffee and really cute shop! I love that they don’t use Alpro and have better options for non dairy (soy boy is a really good choice) Came back twice in a day!

Loving the new digs. The coffee served here sends my taste buds into sensory overload. IMHO the best coffee in Oxford courtesy of Round Hill Roastery. Pick up a packet and, if you’re a huge fan of REN & STIMPY. You cannot leave without buying the Happy Happy Soy Boy milk.

I really love it here. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. There’s minimal seating, but it’s not very busy so it’s a very peaceful place to just sit with your coffee and people watch. I always leave there feeling somewhat enlightened as I’ve had some mind healing done! The food is also really good! Only baked goods, but in Thursday they get some reallyyyyyy good doughnuts in. Also their almond croissant is fab (especially with a mocha!)

Minimalistic cute little coffee shop. Great stop for a coffee near the university. Also sells coffee making accessories like drips and filters.

Wonderful independent coffee shop! The kind of artisan coffee shops you find in trendy locales in big cities. The coffee was fantastic. My double espresso was rich and fruity, with no hint of bitterness. Whereas my husband's preference of latte, the coffee was beautifully blended with milk - to the point where I (a diehard black coffee drinker) thought it enjoyable. They serve a few cakes (we had blueberry), and some cold drinks too. They also sell a range of coffee equipment (coffee grinders, cups, filters, and of course aero presses!) And I spotted some lovely coffee cups I almost bought. With so many coffee shops cropping up in Oxford, it's nice to find one that is stripped back and focused on high quality coffee (rather than interior design and clever, yet annoying, chairs). It would have been nice to have our coffees in the shop, though it didn't feel like we should! No chairs, but a bench along the window. Hopefully they'll add a couple of small chairs and a small table at some point! Good place to grab a coffee whilst visiting the knitting shop. Would be better if you could natter about knitting with friends in here after going to said shop!
