Brewhouse & Kitchen - Southsea

Wonderful Sunday roast enjoyed in lovely surroundings. We have waited a long time to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Visited with one guest in a wheelchair and we found everything very accessible. Kyie in the kitchen agreed to source rarer beef for 1 dinner, the chicken was superb and another of our party enjoyed the pork. All the food was of a high quality and cooked very well. Our server Tiff was so lovely and couldn’t have done more to make our visit memorable. We will be back. Thank you.

Was there for a brewing course; brilliant. Really interesting, informative and fun, getting in there and being involved in.the whole process. Martin, a brewer and the presenter, was warm, helpful, funny and clearly very good at what he does. Would really recommend it. Did I mention the food and beer were free all day? Bought a keg home with me.

Had an amazing Brewery Experience Day with the lovely Brewer Martin! Really enthusiastic and great knowledge, highly recommended if you want a fun afternoon making beer. Had some lunch after- restaurant is very warm and inviting, and the food was delicious. Really friendly staff :)

We had a Rum experience with dinner. Callum was very nice, pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic in delivering the experience. Selection of Rums was a good choice. Though I would say it was quite noisy as sat in middle of bar, so it was sometimes difficult to hear Callum. This was for my husband’s birthday and we each enjoyed it. Meal was okay, though thought might had more of a selection..

Decent food, great beer, unfriendly service. Beware the 'work space offer' - sounds great, however allegedly only available if pre-booked... Basically you'll spend more than you expect, but given the excellent beer you'll probably have a better time than you expect

We had an amazing time at the brewery experience day. Martin explained the entire brewing process in a clear and engaging way, and he was always happy to answer any questions we had. The food was excellent, and there was a great selection of beers to taste. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’d highly recommend!

Great beer and whisky tasting experience, and a great host by Joel. Really learned a lot this evening and Joel has a phenomenal level of knowledge. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

We did the whiskey and beer tasting experience with a meal for two. It was a gift from our daughter. Exceptional !! Informative and fascinating learning about the pairing of certain whiskey drinks with selected beers. All top quality. Martin was a funny and entertaining host and explained his methods in the beer making. His stout was really lovely especially. It was fun to sit with other people and share the experience. We had a great evening.
