Whenever I come to Bendigo to visit my Dad, this is one of two places I regularly come for coffee. When Dad first moved here, one of my first tasks was to suss out the best coffee in town and I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I love the vibes, the staff are always friendly, the space is huge and very Bendigo-hipster-cool. Taking into account Melbourne's ever-growing health-consciousness, the Brewhouse is following form and actually knows how to make almond milk lattes taste great. There are Gluten Free options on the menu too, although I don't come here for the food - It's nothing to write home to Melbourne about. However, I've never had a bad coffee here.
Parking is horrible. As in most big country towns, you have to pay for parking wherever you are, and there's not a lot of it. If you're grabbing a take-away, there are handy 10 minute parks right outside, but if you're sitting down you'll have to park a few streets away and walk. Which may not be a terribly bad thing after you've eaten a huge brunch!!
