Yelp
It looks like this place just opened today. It used to be the location of Jujuice Cold Pressed Juicery.
It's a small, clean, cute, and typical modern looking store that focuses on drinks (tea, boba/toppings, milk tea, slushes, and specialty) and popular Korean small bites with K-pop music in the background. They also sell cute merch, Korean convenience items, drinks, and popular snacks on a shelf.
The people were friendly, welcoming, and receptive to the questions I had. They offer a rewards punch cards to customers.
I'm wary of trying East Asian foods in San Antonio since the population of us is small here compared to other cities in Texas, and I've been spoiled elsewhere where we're more present, so I didn't bother trying the food. However, the food did smell good, looked fresh, and the folks around me seemed to enjoy it.
The tea variety is a mix of traditional Asian to westernized/Americanized flavors and toppings. I am more of a tea traditionalist as my Asian ancestors would judge me getting anything else haha.
I tried their house Woo Ri tea, which is a mix of black and red tea. I had 25% sweetness, no milk, aloe vera topping, and easy ice.
The tea itself was brewed strongly, which is what I like and expect from black teas. It wasn't watered down. It wasn't just sugar water.
Tip: For all my taro lovers out there, it looks like their taro drink is a powder and not fresh taro. It's hard to find fresh taro drinks in SATX.
The tea here is better than Kokee or other boba places I've had in SATX so far, but it's not the best I've had - hence the four stars. Based on the ambience, service, and the one tea I had, I would come back to Woo Ri Teahouse to try another tea flavor and perhaps try their food.
Wishing this store the best of luck!
