I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. My girlfriend booked a private movie screening for a birthday party nearly three weeks in advance, and it ended up being one of the most disorganized and frustrating events we’ve ever dealt with.
When we arrived—along with all of our guests—we were left waiting for more than two hours past our 7:00 PM reservation time. Staff barely communicated with us, and when they did, they were often dismissive or rude. At one point, a staff member (Griff) told us he didn’t have to help us because we “hadn’t paid yet,” even though payment is only taken after the screening, which was clearly explained when we booked.
Throughout the night we were given shifting, unclear updates: possibly 8:30, then 9:00, then maybe 10:00—none of which were ever confirmed. What made the situation even more confusing was that, during the time we were supposed to have our reserved screening, we saw other movies being screened, which made it feel like our reservation had been pushed aside or mishandled entirely.
The whole situation ended up being humiliating and embarrassing for my girlfriend, who had planned this event for weeks. She was in tears by the end of the night. After everything we went through, the only thing they ended up comping for her was a drink and some food—nowhere near enough to make up for what happened.
And to make matters worse, when we asked for something as simple as an apology, the staff explicitly refused. After being ignored, dismissed, and kept waiting for hours, that was the final straw.
There’s more I could say, but honestly the situation speaks for itself.
In short: I would strongly recommend taking your time and money elsewhere.
