We enjoyed a 3 night winter vacation break in January. Perfect location to ski using the town shuttle that runs approx every 20 min. We had a King Grand Deluxe Suite with separate living room, kitchenette, and full size dinning table. The room names or titles are a little confusing.... so I called when we made our reservation to be sure our room had the dinning table and separate bedroom. The living room was nicely furnished with newer chair and sofa, a significant gas fireplace, and very nice decorating trim featuring a lot of wood and stone. We enjoyed lounging in the room with a lovely view of snow and trees on the front side of the hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room was super quiet, and the blackout curtains were excellent. We did not use the hotel services or dinning room as we traveled with our own food. The under counter fridge kept everything perfectly cold, and the sink was a decent size for food prep and cleanup. Also high marks for housekeeping! No ugly dust balls when you reach into a corner to plug in your phone or computer!

The hotel is in good condition. The rooms were large and fairly clean. The beds were comfortable. The pillows look small but can be expanded to a normal size if you untuck the ends and fluff them out. All of that was good. The shower was TERRIBLE. We were in room 317 and the water temperature would change every 30 seconds or so between normal, scalding hot, or freezing. It made showering a terrible experience, and honestly a safety hazard if you have kids. It is very possible for a kid to get burned when the water changes to scalding. The safe in our room did not work at all - it had no power/battery. The toilet would run every 10 minutes or so. The breakfast is good, but NOT FREE. Apparently they do promotions where it is free sometimes, but we had to pay $15 per adult with automatic gratuity added. Kids were free. The breakfast had lots of options. Standouts were the waffles, French toast sticks, and ham. The hostess working there was very nice and gave the kids candy after the meal. The hotel service was lacking. When we first arrived, I sent a request for more hangers (we only had 4 in the room for 3 people). They did not respond to this request. When I asked a second time, they said “we are trying to locate some.” They never followed up after that. I sent another request a couple of days later saying that I was still waiting on the hangers, but they never replied to it. I didn’t think something so simple would be so difficult to fulfill. Location is good and an easy drive to the lifts.

The best part was the Ski n Stay promotion they offered, where we received 2 free ski passes with the stay. The room was good. I did not appreciate the mandatory 15% gratuity for the self serve continental breakfast. A tip is meant for promoting excellent interactive customer service.

The room was beautiful cabin style which we love. Super comfy bed and nice to relax by the fire after a day of skiing. Loved the tree view from bedroom and living room. The food at Lift was a bit expensive but very good. Great get away and will do again.

We had a wonderful weekday stay at a great value. The interface on the TV's allowed us to easily log into our own streaming services (it appears to log you out each day, so you don't have to worry about the next guest using your subscription). The room was nicely appointed and the bed was SO comfortable! They have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby for guests. There is NOT a complimentary breakfast (we had read varying accounts in others' reviews, so we weren't sure what to expect. The hot tub was nice and toasty, although the water looked a bit dirty. As another guest reported, there is a serious ice hazard issue by the hot tub that should be addressed in a speedy and regular manner to prevent injuries.

The lodge is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. Love the fireplaces in the lobby with hot tea and coffee for you to enjoy. The indoor pool was a hit with my 10 year old and I loved the outdoor hot tub after a day of skiing. The Lift restaurant was nice but the breakfast buffet hot food was cold. But the variety of foods was good. Highly recommend stopping at a grocery store for food that you want BEFORE coming up the mountain, unless you want to go to the general store and spend about $5 for a can of peaches 🤯. Lesson learned on our part....Oops. Skiing...highly recommend you pick up your ski rentals the day before if possible. If not, get there early in the morning to get your rentals. Ski early to avoid longer lines. We got there about early and got about 7 runs in before longer lines started forming.

Google
Super close to the mountain and reasonably priced. We paid $90 for an overnight room on a Sunday. Located very close to the mountain. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Kevin checked us in and was extremely friendly and helpful! He even gave us some hot chocolate to make for ourselves. He mentioned the pool was open, and I wish we had brought our swimsuits. The room was nice, and the TV had good options including YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video. The microwave worked really well, as we heated up a few frozen items. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Edit to add: forgot to mention the room was very clean. Bathroom was stocked with extra towels, soaps, and the like.

Try the other hotels first. This is like an upgraded red roof. The beds were hard, and there were very few pillows. Do not ask for more because they don't have any. The ad is misleading. It says hotel and spa. Well the spa is an outdoor hot tub. Which is hard to use in -3 degree weather. There is a very small arcade with old games but you can not fit more than four people in the room. The indoor pool is small. There's nothing to do at the hotel when you are not asking. For the price I would check out the other lodges on the mountain. OH the food, well, during the weekend, the buffet cost$15 per person for cold food but the same type of food that any free breakfast serve. The evening menu is very small and when we were here, they were out of alot of the dishes and hot drinks. No this is not the place to stay if you have e kids who can't ski g all day or a member of the party who doesn't ski. Again, nothing to do but watch TV. It is very sad.

Yelp
Went here over winter break with the family. It was a blizzard day and our first time so we couldn't really figure out where to go. We walked into the ski rental shop and luckily an employee was able to help us. I wish the ticket booth area was a little more out of the elements because we were freezing and trying to listen to the lady and pay for our sledding tickets. I didn't realize you have to wait for your turn to sled and it is in hour and a half increments. Not sure if that's posted anywhere and we just missed it or what. We walked into the lodge to wait for awhile for our sled time and it was packed! There was no seating and it was a 40 minute wait. It looks like the property is pretty large, I don't know why they don't expand and add more food options or a food court. The servers/employees seemed overwhelmed not sure if that's how it normally is. Wasn't able to get a table and our sled time was for the reservation time so we cancelled it.

Yelp
We had the worst experience in the bar and restaurant workers on 9/7/24. My daughter was celebrating a small get together with family and members of wedding party. I would like to discuss more in person or by phone regarding the service we experienced 951-326-9924 Thank you Carolynn Toolson

Yelp
This place has been nothing but a huge disappointment. Starting off with no early check in, we get a message on our way up that the pool is down which means less things to do with our kids while we're here in between snow time. Also the customer service has been less than mediocre with attitude from a front desk attendant that had a foreign accent. We go to the bar/grill in the hotel they let us know you have to order at least one food item not just drinks.. then we go to order drinks and of course it just so happens that the drink we were going to order was out and the second drink I asked for was also out.. we just got here... hoping it gets better and the pool gets fixed before we leave in a few days. Shame, we expected more!

Christian P.

Yelp
"Highly recommend this place! The atmosphere is amazing - it feels like you're in the mountains but with all the cozy comforts. The staff is super friendly, and the pool is great. It's a pet-friendly hotel, which was a big plus for us. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the chicken wings - absolutely delicious! We stopped here to break up our drive to Colorado, and it was the best decision. The continental breakfast was also really good. Definitely plan to come back! "

Ken L.

Yelp
The ambiance is great. Food is average. Service is questionable. I'm sure that good employees in the food service world is a major challenge, but no one should settle for mushy vegetables.

Oceana R.

Yelp
The website said they had a pool table and a sauna but they didn't.... Pretty disappointed in the experience overall. Better off staying at an AirBNB

Yelp
This place has so much potential, but boy they are missing the mark. Tried to check in at about 4:45 which is 45 minutes after check in and most of our group couldn't check in, said the rooms were not ready. We later found out it was because their dryers were broken so they couldn't clean sheets and towels. Just tell people that and they will most likely be empathetic. Went to get ice the first night and the room labeled ice and vending only had vending. Went to the next floor and same thing. Asked a maid and she said all their ice machines were broken, but I could get ice at the front desk. Why not tell people at check-in this simple fact. Went several times to the front desk to find it empty for long periods of time. Second night the hood in the main kitchen started blowing smoke at the cooks, so they had to shut down. The jacuzzi was green and gross! Seems they are falling apart at the seams. On the positive side, the rooms are in good shape and clean and the location is perfect!

Joel C.

Yelp
they have one employ working rents which is absolutely insane. Waited an hour and a half in a line of 15 people just to get my snowboarding rental. they need more staffing.

Max S.

Yelp
Such a great lodge! Only a 3 minute shuttle to the slopes. Rooms were nice and spa was large, as good as hot. We booked 4 rooms @ 3 nights for our family and all were happy.

Joe M.

Yelp
The room was a cool rustic decor. The digital temperature controls worked well. Restaurant was nice, with good service and solid dinner choices. Don't forget your complementary breakfast (we did)! Prices during fall color season were excellent.

Lucy A.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Chill atmosphere. Zoe and He Man are awesome! Will be back again. Go check it out!

Yelp
So a little back-story if you want context. Scroll down if you just want specifics... My family was first introduced to this property in 2018 when it was managed by Best Western. We were immediately impressed with the property itself: Great location and nice amenities, including pool, jacuzzi, onsite restaurant, bar and an outside deck with fire pits. As for the rooms, they are fairly large with a few different suite options. All are nicely decorated with better quality furnishings, framed wall photos throughout, painted plaster walls, wood beam ceilings and trim, solid wood doors, quality fixtures, flat screen tvs, and fireplaces in some rooms. Back then, we were WELCOMED by 2-3 very friendly, helpful front desk staff and found the housekeeping and restaurant staff were also very in tune with the "hospitality" vibe you'd expect at a resort property. It was great. But that was then. Now, the property is still nice, but the aforementioned Hospitality - and general level of service - is clearly no longer part of the Brian Head Lodge experience. Specifics: As mentioned in a recent comment, the current staff seem pretty close to miserable. Not welcoming, not very helpful, and not always friendly. A couple of examples: Another arriving guest: "My wife and I stay here every year and she likes to bake cookies for the front desk team, so these are for you!" Front desk person: "I'm diabetic. I can't eat those" Read it again. That was verbatim. Me: "Did you know that when people call your main number they sometimes get a recording that says 'no humans here. Try texting me'. But it's a land line - you can't text it!?" Front desk: I've heard that... it's out of my control. Me: "Can I please have the hotel manager's contact information?" Front desk: "I don't have anything to write it on. Just send an email to info@brianheadlodge.com. " - Wrong email, btw. And then our room... Only two towels (reservation was for four) No toilet paper besides half a roll on the dispenser No Bar/face soap Dirty dishes with dirty silverware shoved in the cupboard. No dish soap No sponge I had to ask twice for dish soap and was only told after my second request that they had an inventory problem (also mentioned in previous comment a few months ago). I was finally provided a plastic cup with less than an inch of dish soap. In all my interactions I NEVER heard an apology or even an acknowledgement of an inconvenience to me - a paying guest. So, unless you see some recent reviews that imply a positive change, I would tell you to look at Airbnb properties if you need a place to stay. IMO, the management at Brian Head Lodge has no business running a hotel and I sincerely hope ownership gets that message before they have no business themselves.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our belated honeymoon in 2014, and we returned again in 2018 to the same location. There is something about this hotel that is really special to me. I love the outdoor fireplace on the patio, I really love the indoor swimming pool. This hotel is just quaint and beautiful. I plan on returning again with my wife as we celebrate another milestone in our life, and it will definitely be here.

Serena R.

Yelp
We've stayed here a few times now after visiting Brian Head a lot this past (wonderful) ski season. The staff is always pleasant and sometimes accompanied by the cutest darn dogs! Why 4 stars? Well, it is a reasonably comfortable hotel. I would consider it clean, but not pristine, so adjust your expectations. Things do feel a little dated as well and the restaurant can be a bit slow. When we come up here, we really just want a place close to the slopes and this satisfies that. It's not the nicest hotel we've stayed in by a long shot, but for a quick weekend getaway from Vegas, it gets the job done. (Definitely avoid it on holidays, though, the rates are absolutely outrageous.)

Yelp
Came for dinner on July 4th around 7:30 pm but never got a chance to eat. Completely ignored once sat. No acknowledgment "be right with you" & it was not crowded. Sat & waited while other tables around us were greeted, seated & placed orders. We got up & left after 10 mins. Such a disappointment. There is also a big beautiful deck off the main dining room/bar with seating & a big fire pit but they won't serve you out there! You must order food 'to go' & then go eat it out of your styrofoam container. Kinda embarrassing staff has to tell a paying patron this. C'mon you can do better! I have been here before when it was run under different management & couldn't wait to return. Last night, I couldn't wait to leave!

Yelp
First time staying here and will be returning to this lodge. This was our first trip to Brian Head. The Brian Head Lodge had great communication to me with updates via email and text. I appreciated the text for pre-check in and the email letting me know about their front desk coverage. My party and I arrived closer to 9pm, the check in was less then 2 minutes, they told us where to park, gave me a great map of the area and told me about the shuttle for us to use the next day. Once upstairs I received a text letting me know if I needed anything, which number I could call, this was so nice. The next morning, we had a great breakfast and headed out to snowboard for the day. The staff were all friendly and happy to help. I will be returning for sure.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Upon check in, the front desk manager was absolutely wonderful, very accommodating and wanting to help in anyway. Unfortunately that is where the good service at this resort ended. As soon as we got to our room the bathroom floor was disgusting, it had clearly not been cleaned as we walked in and there was an abundant of grainy particles crunching all over the floor, forget walking barefoot on that, and hopefully you brought slippers from home, because they definitely don't provide any. After a day full of skiing and being out in the snow, we return, chilly and ready for hot showers, only to find that we have no hot water, our living room heater does not work (only our bedroom heater works,) our kids are sleeping on the pull out bed in the living room and were absolutely freezing. And the icing on the cake, the living room TV didn't work. The first night we went to dinner at the lodge and even though there were plenty of open tables, the hostess told us that there would be an hour & a half wait, and mumbled something about it being because they have a small kitchen, it was difficult to communicate as it was pretty clear they didn't want to actually deal with the customers, I stood close to the host stand for a while & they were short with everyone that walked up to them. After an hour & a half we were finally seated at a table. We asked for napkins & utensils & were informed that there were no clean utensils available yet. Mind you, again the restaurant is not even full, there were plenty of open tables throughout this entire experience. So that tells me that they wouldn't have enough utensils to seat more people. We sit and are told that none of their salads are available, and they are all out of their cheddar cheese. I will say that the waitress was trying her best, but so much of this was out of her control, when the food finally arrived, it was cafeteria quality at best (and that's being kind). With a few changes this hotel could really be a wonderful experience, but the lack of effort & maintenance really shows. Because there aren't very many dining options in the area, we decided on our second night to order to go from the restaurant only to have an even worse experience the second night. We sat by the fire looking at the menu and a waitress (I didn't catch her name, but she was covered in tattoos) approached us asking what we thought we were doing. We explained that we were looking at the menu so we could place a to go order and she rudely said "oh well it'll be a REALLY REALLY long wait" So we went to our waitress from the night before instead and she was very sweet and said it wouldn't be a problem at all, we just need to put our order in with the hostess. We went to the hostess and put our order in and everything was going fine, when suddenly the waitress with the tattoos approached her, looks at us with a snide look and whispers in the hostess' ear for a bit. The hostess looked extremely uncomfortable and looked like she didn't want to do whatever the waitress had just said. She apologized and uncomfortably repeated verbatim what the waitress had told us earlier. As the waitress with the tattoos walked away, she apologized profusely and said she'd get our order in right away. It was very obvious that she did not want to do whatever the waitress with the tattoos was telling her to do. On our way back to our room, the man that was working at the front desk was yelling and arguing with another woman that was staying at the resort, I could not believe my eyes or ears... Our stay at this resort and the entire experience was absolutely awful, the only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the wonderful front desk manager and the one waitress and hostess that truly tried to accommodate to the best of their ability. The rest of the staff encounters were with people who all seemed absolutely miserable and who had zero hospitality experience. As someone who spent years working in hospitality as well as in the restaurant industry this is just unacceptable. The owners need to reassess the way things are being ran and pay more attention the important details. This resort has so much potential and is just falling short in so many unnecessary ways.

Yelp
This is a solid 3-star establishment. This review is only for the summer season experience. To start with the positives: Rooms are a good size, the waterfall pool is cute, there's a small gym available, and there's a restaurant and spa in the building. Mini fridge and microwave worked just fine. Now the hard feedback: The beds are so uncomfortably firm we used our camping air mattress on the beds. The AC unit in the room is ridiculously LOUD. There was no tissue or coffee satchels in the room - housekeeping said they were short on inventory. The coffee machine had not been cleaned - there were two used semi moist satchels still in the machine. The restaurant was very short staffed. The food wasn't much to write home about. The game room was a wreck - patrons didn't clean up after themselves. Most of the staff I encountered looked miserable and seemed like they were very overwhelmed. Is this normal for the season? On a separate note - the building was getting its roof redone - the workers started work at 730am on a Saturday. Why on a SATURDAY!!! I was on vacation and was hoping to sleep till 8am bt that plan was ruined by nail guns and other construction noises. Why did the hotel agree to this?! Because the roofers were working around the satellites, it was causing disturbances for anyone watching Tv during the day. Super annoying. I'll write an update if the winter season stay is any different.

Maryann B.

Yelp
This is our second time staying here. Check in was easy with friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast with Tina at the helm is always a great way to start the day. Rooms are clean and comfy.

N L.

Yelp
We didn't have a great start to our visit (drawers opening on their own, A/C not working, view over a dirty electric unit out back, no extra towels as I put into the notes, and just did not sit well with me) this go around as in years past. Anna however made our first night exceptional with a free upgrade and all the "extras" you would want when you first arrive. This picture shows a much better view than what we originally were set to have. With her help, I will stay again if she continues to work here as she wants you to be satisfied. Kevin who is new at the front desk has a good attitude and a very uplifting personality that makes you feel welcomed which is refreshing.

Yelp
We were so excited when we arrived at Brian, head lodge and resort! There was so much snow, we actually couldn't find the main check in door. We actually parked around the backside of the hotel and wondered around until we found the check in desk. Parking was extremely limited, Especially with the large amounts of snow. Check in was easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. We unpacked and headed to our room, which was nice and spacious! We sat for a moment in our room and watched the blizzard. We immediately noticed we could totally hear the people above us!! The ceiling was so thin that the noise was really loud! We went right back to the front desk and asked for a top floor room, which he immediately reassigned us! The top floor was great, didn't hear anything! We hung out at the lodge and it was great! The food was pricey, but great! The views are amazing! We were a little disappointed that the front fireplace wasn't working, because that would have been nice! Pros Close to skiing Beautiful lodge Good food Cons *Hard as ROCK beds!! Had an extremely hard time sleeping because the beds were so hard!! (This is the main reason for the low rating) *This is a dog friendly hotel, and there were a ton of pee spots all over in the snow all around the hotel! It was extremely disgusting! I really wish that the hotel would have a designated dog pee and poop spot, so those people who don't have dogs there, don't have to see and smell it!! * The hotel is really pretty, but it is extremely dated! I felt like I had time warped back to the 1970s * parking is extremely limited, if you're not there early, you will not get a parking space!

Polly S.

Yelp
Dirty, they don't cleanup the trash from the hallways. They don't clean the shower's glass it looks gross, in the bathroom, neither they clean their gorgeus panoramic window to view outside. It's a shame. They don't belong to bestwestern chain anymore and it shows. We will not stay here again!

Ramona P.

Yelp
Loved it! What a great experience!! Not crowded, ok prices. Food was not great but what can u expect on top of the mountain:))

Tim D.

Yelp
This is the new name of the hotel formerly known as the Best Western Premier Brian Head. The facilities and spa are great. The restaurant is average at best. The hotel has two Tesla Destination chargers located at the parking lot in the rear!

Chris B.

Yelp
Tina in the restaurant is highly motivated and does an excellent job. Her concern for the customers is amazing.

David H.

Yelp
I visited your restaurant Wednesday night (2/28) with a friend. He had the lift burger and fries. I had the special French Dip and fries. We both got food poisoning with extreme symptoms starting the following morning about 1-2 am. The only common thing we ate all that day was at your restaurant. Seems most likely we got it there. Please check everything in your kitchen.

Bella M.

Yelp
We got here a little early around 9ish, the older check in lady (with glasses) was extremely rude and being a smart with basic questions we asked. We went snowboarding and injured my ankle and arm, we asked if we can get something closer to an elevator and she also did not honor that with no explanation. We also heard a conversation with another person and she said "in order to answer your question you need to get back in line". It's my first stay here and I don't think after this experience I want to stay here again. The night check in employees are super nice and attentive!! The pool indoor isn't heated but the hot tub is amazing! There was no bar soap or conditioner. Last but not least the carpet was not vacuumed there was crumbs and pieces of nails (nail clipper)

Molly M.

Yelp
I would give this zero stars but I can't . Anyways , we had to wait for like over 3 hours after guaranteed check in just to be told our room isn't ready. This is after the fact that they told us the cleaners were in our room. The guy at the desk lied about that because it doesn't take 1 hour to clean a single hotel room. Don't stay here if you want an efficient check in and good service. Also on our second day we got locked out of our room and the keys were deactivated for some reason . This also happened to our friends in the room next door. Like dude can you even do your job right a little? He just sat and acted like we were overreacting. Bruh . but anyways. ‍

Yelp
This was our second time staying at the Brian Head Lodge. The first time we stayed was in October 2023 during a motorcycle ride thru Southern Utah. The staff at the front desk, and at the restaurant were very kind and helpful. We had such a great experience with the town, scenery and hotel that we decided to give our married kids a weekend of skiing and a night in the lodge as a Christmas gift. I don't know if the whole staff was changed out since our stay the previous October, but things changed quite dramatically. The staff we had for this trip was absolutely horrible. The girl at the front desk when we checked in couldn't care less that we were there. Her attitude was less than friendly. She told me that we had 5 reservations when we were only had 4. I was shocked and told her that the 5th reservation needed to be cancelled and not charged for the room. Not only did she not care about the extra reservation, but charged me the extra $10.00 resort fee on the phantom reservation. I was also told that our pre-paid lift tickets would be waiting for us upon check in - which they were not. She did not try to figure out the issue at all and said that I would have to work it out with the manager, Emily at 7:00 in the morning when she would arrive for her shift. I woke up early so I would be at the front desk to speak with Emily at 7:00 only to find out that she called the night shift worker and said that she would not be in until 9:00. I was not going to wait again, so we went skiing. I nervously went to the ticket office wondering if I had any pre-paid tickets waiting for me. Luckily they were there. Thank you Lift ticket office! I had previously called the hotel approx. 15 times between making the reservation in December and our arrival the end of March to make sure that everything was booked correctly so there would be no hiccups on our family vacation. I was assured each time I called that everything was just great. After the day of skiing, I went back to the hotel to speak with Emily. She could not have cared less about us or about the problem we were having. She tried to blame it on the ticket office for the mix-up and blew off the fact that the hotel had 5 reservations for me as well as a "ghost reservation" for February 1-2 which I had verification on my phone but was conveniently not on her computer. We tried to be kind about this situation but soon realized that kindness and accommodating was part of the hotels personality. I realized that I was not going to get anywhere with Emily and had to chalk it up as a bad vacation. I was told by Emily that she had reimbursed my credit card for one of the $10.00 resort fees on the phantom 5th reservation, but of course I checked my bank statement and there is no credit there. I would give 0 stars if I could but there is not an option for that! Ownership should really look into their hotel team make a number of very important changes!!

Yelp
Really super family friendly spot. Everyone was always willing to help with advice about the slopes or questions for newbies. Tina B was amazing. Her service was top notch, her demeanor and joy were contagious. We will definitely be back!

Jonni F.

Yelp
Tina at the brian head lodge restaurant is amazing! genuinely one of the sweetest and nicest servers i've ever met. definitely recommend:) she is so helpful in

HaloZone75 G.

Yelp
Tina was super helpful and extremely welcoming. our breakfast experience wouldn't have been as awesome as it was without her!!

Zane M.

Yelp
This is a good place to stay that is very convenient for the slopes. The room was clean, the lobby is great and service was excellent. The only thing I can't recommend is the breakfast. The food was not the best quality and it was overpriced.

Evan G.

Yelp
This was our first time skiing Brian Head and we loved the skiing and are looking forward to getting back next season. Unfortunately we can't say the same thing about the Lodge. Our first night was a "Suite" on the third floor (fireplace never worked) and any time someone dragged a cart or luggage out of the elevator it sounded like a freight train coming through the room. Not exaggerating. This happened all night so we requested a different room in the morning. We were really looking forward to a good night's sleep when we were woken up the second night by the guy in the next room talking on the phone who literally sounded like he was in our room. It's like the "walls" are made of tissue paper. It's so loud with so many noises we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Also, dinner at the Lift was really poor and disappointing. They do have large portions, though. My Fish & Chips (fish) was so over cooked it was nearly impossible to actually eat it. My wife ordered a burger and said she would have rather stopped at McD's instead. Pros: It is really close to Navajo so we were able to get on the lift in no time and didn't need the shuttle. The staff are pleasant and it's not expensive, but I can't recommend this place so I'll have to do better research before next year's stay at BH.

Yelp
Pretty dirty hotel. Bed uncomfortable. Looks like bathroom shower never cleaned. Room smells weird. Lots of hair in the perimeters of the room as if it's never been vacuumed. Hard toilet paper and tissues. Heater in room didn't work. Missing tv remote. Pillow didn't have a pillowcase on it. Toilet had peculiar particles in it. Can hear the neighbors as if they are in your room. Restaurant server (female) seems to hate her job. Pool water cloudy. No breakfast only food from 4-9pm. Gift shop has basic snacks and frozen food. Parking easy. Elevator works. Better return your key card or get charged $5!

Yelp
We stayed here two nights for a quick visit on a multiple stop road trip. The feel of the lodge is incredible! Very warm and welcoming. The staff at the front desk is there round the clock, and were all amazingly helpful! We weren't able to try the restaurants, perhaps next visit. The complimentary coffee and water in the lobby were a delicious frequent visit for us though! The rooms are comfortable and have plenty of space. We also had to cut our reservation short, and there was no issue with cancellation on the spot, and only charging the time that we were there. I would highly recommend this stop for anyone looking for a beatitudes mountain getaway!

Yelp
First time here at the lodge, Its breath taking. Snow and cold but still beautiful. Anna G greeted us with an amazing smile and was just a joy. She explained things to do and what they offered here. She is a 10 in customer service for sure!!! Heated pool and spa. The lodge is cozy and for couples this would most definitely be a romantic place to be. The lift bar is quaint, pool table, open bar and a view to die for. Big fireplace in the middle of the bar to sit around and have a cold beer. Hang with friends and listen to great music. The comfort and hospitality makes this place number one on my list to come back to. See you again Brian Head lodge.

Yelp
Stayed at lodge back in 2019 and lodging was very good. Stayed at same lodge and was not nearly as good. Room had TV that did not work. When I complained at desk on first day, two people at front desk dismissed my problem and advised it was the Direct TV system and I should try again later. 2nd day still did not work and complained again at desk. Attendant said she would look into it. Left to spend day skiing, came back and no change. Checked with relative in another room and TV was working fine for him. Staff did not seem to be concerned. Amenities are apart of the lodging and should be addressed , especially for the amount of money charged per day. Also had their breakfast buffet in the AM and most food was cold. Also previously lodge had two working hot tubs, one outdoors, one indoors. Indoor tub was closed during peak weekend which made outdoor tub more crowded and therefore somewhat uncomfortable. Will not stay at this lodge again.

Yelp
My husband and I visited during our anniversary and were seriously disappointed. We paid extra for the romance package in our suite, which included drinks and chocolates. Not only did our room not have it, they didn't even have soap in the bathroom! We let them know and they suggested we come down and get our things for our room, but later agreed to deliver them to our room (as it was advertised in the package). We went to their restaurant for dinner, and I ordered the chicken bruchetta. The veggies on the side were delicious, but I couldn't swallow the chicken without a swig of water because of how dry it was. It was also so burnt on the bottom, that when I tried to cut it, it didn't cut all the way through. After a few bites I gave up and decided to ignore it. For dessert, I ordered the gluten free chocolate mousse cake. They brought me chocolate cake, but it was really heavy with very thick frosting (yummy, but not very accepting by my body, unfortunately). I asked the waitress if this was the cake I ordered, and she tried to tip toe around the question and nodded her head saying "yup, that's our chocolate cake" I asked again, is this the gluten free cake I ordered? She then apologized and said no. My husband didn't want to be rude, and still tipped her, but I was pretty pissed off. The service was crap. If I pay for a romance package, I'd like to receive it. If I pay for grilled chicken, I'd like it to be edible. If I pay for gluten free, don't give me whatever the heck you feel like and still charge me for it! We won't be returning. Avoid the nonsense and choose another resort.

Yelp
We arrived to the hotel around 1:30 am to a welcoming front desk staff person. Each subsequent staff interaction at the lodge was pleasant and friendly. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. This is a pet friendly hotel which is important when you have a fur baby like us. We took the shuttle to and from Brian Head resort for snowboarding. It was convenient and the shuttle drivers were so nice! The distance to the Giant Steps Lodge/lifts from Brian Head Lodge is only a short 5 minute shuttle ride away. Front desk staff person, Rendan, (sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly) was amazing! She answered all of our questions with such a calm and sweet demeanor. Her service stood out above the rest. We will certainly be back to stay at the Brian Head Lodge.

Yelp
Seemingly nice, but frayed around the edges. We found a hat bar and vomit remains in the shower. The first night they checked another man into our room, surprising my husband and I awake in the middle of the night. That same night we listened to loud music blaring from what we thought was the quest below us. The next morning the maid asked when we were leaving, we still had another night. When talking to the front desk, they were unaware we were staying for two nights, we showed them our reservation for two nights. At this time we brought up the fact that a stranger walked into our room and the loud music, without an apology she shrugged her shoulders. Night number two we are laying awake listening loud music once again, only to realize that it's coming from the bar. I'm so irritated that the front desk staff didn't offer to move our rooms when we brought this up this morning. Not happy skiers.

Yelp
I traveled to Brian Head from Vegas to go skiing for the first time, and I will never choose Brian Head again!! I submitted a survey for management to see, but will share the same comments here for you to see. Lodging: Worst experience ever!!! So many issues. First, the lady checking us in was rude and had no knowledge of anything. The website was not clear on when check in was for AM lessons, so I asked if she knew what time we should leave to get there and she said that they shouldn't start until after 1030am, but website says to get there before 945, which isn't true because in reality, check in starts at 945. Next, there are stairs half way down the hallway, so you can't take a luggage cart to your room, you have to remove it and walk it up the stairs. There was no mention of that anywhere on your website and we were not told about it at check in. Next, I paid for a room with 2 queen beds, and they were full beds, confirmed the next day by a different receptionist. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!! When I asked what could be done about the situation, all they said was to move rooms, which I didn't do because they could not confirm if the room I would be going to would have queen beds and the fact of moving all my luggage up and down more stairs without a luggage cart. Next, the bus situation was awful. They arrived late and got stuck, almost making me late for my lessons. Waiting for a bus from the resort back to the lodge took over a half hour, leaving me my brother and friend alone in the resort with no employees to assist the situation. Finally, when I booked the reservation on January 18th, I was told that there would be complimentary continental breakfast severed each morning. When we got there, they canceled it and offered us a 25% off one breakfast sandwich coupon at Navajo Cafe in its replacement. They said that their kitchen was under refurbishment, and would not offer anything else. I did not bring food because I was told there would be breakfast served, and they said that it has been this way for 2 week, but made no effort to inform me or any other customers who booked prior to their kitchens going down. The only good part of the lodge was the waitress working 2/14 in the bar and 2/15 on the restaurant downstairs in the lobby. I don't remember her name, but she was the only one working both days and she was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Every other employee working at the lodge were miserable and had not customer service friendliness what so ever. Worst staffing I have ever experience in my life. Website: Your website needs a complete overhaul. It was an absolute terrible experience trying to book the hotel, lift, equipment, and lessons. The website was not clear at all and I tried contacting customer service for support 7 times over the span of two weeks and never reach through to anyone and never got a call back. After that I gave up and did the best I could to try and figure it out on my own. Worst experience ever. Rental Process: Overall, the rental portion of my trip was not bad, but could have been better. The staff was friendly, but when I explained that I wear two different sized shoes, he said it didn't matter and gave me the same boot size for both feet, making it uncomfortable on my left foot to wear the ski boot. The quality was alright, but the ski equipment was worn down and needed refurbishment. The efficiency issues I had stem from the issues trying to book it online and the problems trying to get dates to match. Private Lesson: The Instructor did not seemed qualified to be teaching. she did not have the social aptitude or the vocabulary knowledge to assist me in learning. I took a group lesson the first day and wanted a private lesson on the second hoping to learn more, but did not get the knowledge i expected to given the price for the private lesson. Overall Lessons: My brother and I took beginner lesson on Wednesday 2/15 with CW. He was amazing and a great instructor helping us learn the basics, despite the fact that it was -1 and felt like -18 during the blizzard that was happening that day. He made me feel competent to go down the slopes and even helped me go up a lift for the first time. The private lesson my brother took the next day was not good (See above), and definitely not worth the price given the level of knowledge the tutor had. Skiing Experience: On Wednesday 2/15, the snow was not groomed, but was groomed the next day making for a much more enjoyable experience. In my 2 day trip, only say ski patrol one time. Grooming the snow made for a much more enjoyable day. Please groom daily. Food: Ordered fries from the Last Chair Grill and Brews, and they were a little cold, but the quality of everything else was better than expected.
