Bricks did not disappoint! It was an excellent dinner! It was my birthday, and my husband and I enjoy dining out for special occasions at nice/fancy restaurants. This time, I decided to try this local spot, and the food was fantastic! I had the lamb chops, and my husband had the pork chops. The creamy onion soup was delicious, and the crème brûlée was the perfect end to the meal. I love how the restaurant is set up—super fancy, and they even had a great steak knife! 😄 We'll definitely be back, and I’ll be spreading the word to my friends about this place!

We were here for an early Valentines dinner and they did not disappoint on the food. We had the tips appetizer and elk chops with a spinach salad. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. A service was good just kinda slow especially when you have a two hour limit at the restaurant.

The entrance to Bricks is a little tucked away off South Virginia, which makes it feel instantly inviting and full of charm. We kicked things off with the crab cakes—phenomenal! Crispy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The Caesar and wedge salads were fresh and delicious. The Manhattans were a delight—a good one can be hard to find, but they nailed it! For entrées, we had the lobster and scallop risotto and the seafood pasta, both rich, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and Jen made sure everything flowed perfectly. Between the food, the cocktails, the atmosphere, and the service, Bricks delivers a truly memorable dining experience. Already planning my next visit!

We had high hopes for Bricks — it looks like a five-star spot, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to the impression. We came later in the evening around 8pm, and the salads were underwhelming: sparse, tired-looking, and definitely not worth the price. The main dishes were rich but lacked balance and clean flavor. While that might appeal to some, it wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. The overall experience was just okay — nothing that made us eager to return. That said, the service was friendly and the atmosphere is clearly a draw for many. It seems to be a local classic, and if you’re after hearty food with solid service, it might hit the mark. But if you’re looking for a meal that feels fresh, flavorful, and leaves you feeling good afterward, this may not be the place.

I took out 25 people with. Grand Prix menu and it was amazing! Food was perfect and the desserts stole the show. Top Notch!

I took my friend here while I was in town visiting for her birthday. It was during the week, so I'm assuming it was a little slower than usual, but the service was absolutely amazing—attentive and friendly from start to finish. The food was pretty good, I’d give it an 8/10. The dishes were flavorful, but nothing that completely wowed us. The drinks, however, definitely hit the spot, I’d rate them a 9/10—they were well-crafted and refreshing. As for the ambiance, it provided a nice atmosphere, with a cozy yet trendy vibe. However, there was something about the crowd that felt a little off. While we were enjoying the evening, we couldn’t help but notice the lack of diversity in the people around us. Maybe it was just the night we were there, but as our meal went on, we started to feel a bit out of place. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did leave us feeling somewhat uncomfortable by the end.

We came here once 12 years ago for our 2nd wedding anniversary. We went again for our 14th anniversary recently, and they are just as consistent and amazing in their execution as they were more than a decade ago. Food and cocktails were on point. Cocktails were artfully crafted and were not overly sweet. The ingredients spoke for themselves and were not overpowered by syrups or artificial flavors. The food was so good, beautifully plated, and perfectly balanced. It's been too long between our first and second visit here and we will not wait so long for our next visit.

Bricks Delivers Flavor Beyond Compare! Just had an absolutely phenomenal meal at Bricks! I ordered the Steak Oscar mix, and let me tell you, the flavors were out of this world. Seriously, pictures (even from @foodpheens just don't do it justice. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, and the Oscar topping – with its rich seafood blend and creamy sauce – elevated every bite. It was a true symphony of flavors that left me completely satisfied. The atmosphere was great, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience where the food truly speaks for itself, Bricks is the place to go. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Came in for a birthday celebration. It was a slow night so it felt very intimate and cozy. Service was very good, but the food was what really stood out! We had the elk chop and the cowboy steak special. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The skillet mac and cheese was amazing as well! It is on the pricier end but its a great spot to come in for a special occasion!

First time at Bricks for a small company Christmas party and it was awesome!! I loved the old school vibe and feel of the restaurant! Service was good, maybe a touch slow but the restaurant was super busy and we all enjoyed socializing and chatting in between courses. We ordered crab cakes and Caesar salad for everyone at the table and both appetizers were delicious. Caesar dressing was zesty and a little creamy , crab cakes were really good too. 3 of us ordered filet mignon with mashed potatoes, I thought the filet dinner was excellent , cooked and seasoned perfectly mashed taters were creamy and delicious , a great meal across the board. I also enjoyed a couple whiskey sours with my meal and for dessert we had the baked alaska coffee ice cream cake. I highly recommend everything we ordered and I can't wait to come back try it all over again !! Great job....Cheers!!

Try the curry halibut for something zesty and original. I have eaten here many times. Quiet upscale joint with a familiar old-school simple feel to it. The food is always solid, if not spectacular. The service has always been great. If you are looking for a place to host formal private meetings or talks, they offer two quiet private rooms. As far as the Reno restaurant scene goes, this is one of the more reliable choices outside of the large casinos.

We celebrated my birthday at Brock's on a Wednesday The place was hopping-bar looked to be busy and the Dining room was full. Joy was our server and she was a delight! My SIL had called ahead to pay for a bottle of wine for us. The message was conveyed and taken care of seamlessly. I always love Bricks and it is a favorite for any celebration. We started with their lump crab cakes which had a delicious remoulade sauce with the perfect amount of spice. Moved on to a caprese salad with avocado...and our main courses were the pasta seafood Special (prawns, lobster and scallops in a creamy wine sauce.) AMAZING! Hubs had the salmon with a red wine reduction and mashed Potatoe. Melt in your mouth

Bricks has been around a long time for a reason. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is intimate, and the food is excellent. The mushroom raviolis are delicious and they don't skimp - these are my new favorite mushroom raviolis in town - very sorry Eldorado. We'll keep coming back as long as they keep doing dinner this well.

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and made the reservation. We were seated quickly and engaged by our waitress. We started with the featured soup of the day, a Tuscan bacon/sausage soup. Great flavor and perfect for a cold evening. The temptation for the bone-in filet was too much, so we ordered one of those and a standard filet. The size of the bone-in was much larger than expected and had a wonderful sauce with it. The standard filet also had a sauce with it, but different. Add to it the lobster Mac n cheese and it was a great couple of meals. We finished with the bread pudding and the gelato trio. Service was great, food wonderful and the ambiance was perfect. Looking forward to going back soon.

We had a lovely dinner celebrating a friend's birthday on a busy Saturday night. I had a special that was offered on this particular night...John Dory fish with a lemon butter caper sauce, served with veggies and rice. I substituted whipped potatoes to replace the rice. The whole dish was very delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly highlighting the buttery, light and tender flavored fish. Potatoes and veggies were excellent too. I would happily order this again. My hubby ordered the mushroom raviolis and he devoured them. He loved them. The restaurant was a bit loud due to a party of about 10-12 guests who were extremely vocal. Felt bad for the date night couples and small parties near that table who had to bear their noisy presence. We had a half wall separating us and even our conversations were greatly affected by their volume. Of course large groups can have a grand time, but it's unfortunate how one group of diners can affect the ambiance of an entire restaurant. Usually Bricks is an elegant and calm dining place, tonight it was not. Next time.

The food is excellent with ample proportions and beautiful presentation. The filet mignon steak was so tender and prepared exactly as requested medium rare , on the rare side. The coconut prawns were tender, with the crispy crust outside and had the sweet sauce on the side. The service was excellent.

Love the food, ambience, service and location. Always welcoming with a great choice of appetizers and entrees.

Delicious!! Decided to come here for date night and we got right in. It is a pretty big restaurant with lots of seatings. Service was great. Our waitress was extremely nice. The food was so so good. I got the king salmon and was asked how I like it cooked. I've never been asked that before so I said medium and my god it was the most delicious salmon I've ever had. It was so soft and not dry like other places. Baked Alaska for dessert was yummy also. We will definitely be back.

We've been wanting to come try Bricks for a while now, so we came recently for our anniversary dinner! It is located in Midtown and there's a large parking lot behind the building. The inside feels like you are walking into someone's home as there are multiple different dining areas that feel like rooms in a house. It was a welcoming yet intimate atmosphere and felt like a nice setting for a date night. Service was fairly slow while we were here, but I'm going to say it's because there were two large parties dining in the same room as us. It was also a Saturday night, so I'm sure they got pretty busy. We shared a bottle of Syrah which was nice to have while we dined since we were here for almost two hours. We started with the baked mushroom caps based on raving reviews I read on those. They totally lived up to the hype! Very rich and flavorful. The dish came with 5 but I could've had so many more, they were delicious! My husband got the veal and I got the scallop risotto. Both were fantastic! My husband loved the butter and caper sauce that the veal was served in. The pieces of veal were a good size and came with pasta. My risotto was so creamy and cheesy. The scallops were wild mushroom crusted which made them extra tasty! They had almost a blackened flavor to them. We went with the baked Alaska for dessert which you cannot pass up. It came as an almond crust topped with coffee amaretto ice cream and toasted meringue. What a unique combination of flavors that you don't usually see in desserts! My husband doesn't drink coffee and he even liked the flavor of this dessert. The coffee and almond balanced each other well and neither was too strong. The crust was a bit harder than it should have been, it was hard to cut it with a fork. Overall, still a very yummy way to finish the meal. We were really impressed with the food here, it seems like a Reno staple and we plan to bring family/friends here in the future when they are visiting. We are excited to return to try more of their delicious food!

Had an awesome filet. The mushroom appetizer was yummy. Great ambiance, good waiter, device was great couldn't empty my water glass and was unaware of it being refilled. Highly recommended. Fell short on birthday request. Not everyone is perfect.

The specials for the evening far exceed what you see on the online menu. The specials are vast and wonderful. The service was fantastic and we very much appreciated our waitress, Karissa was wonderfully attentive, with perfect suggestions and recommendations when asked to provide them. Overall a wonderul experience with excellent accustics so one's conversations are not loud or difficult to hear. TRULY A RENO SECRET. Reservations a must and listen carefully to the specials before ordering.

As a former chef and a gluten free person, this is my new pick for fine dining. I've been here a couple of times now and realize it is consistently one of the best - if not THE best - restaurants in town. Every course was a delight; the service was friendly and attentive; the ambiance reads 'updated classic.' They had abalone on special, lightly breaded with (non gluten) flour. We got the appetizer which was small for four but what a bite it was! Prepared picatta style with lemon and capers, it was perfect, chef's kiss! My mom and I shared the lump crab salad which was divine, crab mixed with artichoke hearts and hearts of palm, served over mixed greens. It was simply delectable! My stay-dad, the birthday boy, ordered the five onion soup which was a creamy base with sherry notes. He said it was wonderful. Entrees consisted of filet Mignonette, elk chops and the wild salmon and everything was incredible! The filet was the best of all but the elk was done perfectly. It's the sauce in the filet that makes it so good, as well as the quality and cook on the meat. The salmon came with a lovely sauce and the birthday boy loved it!! The baked Alaska dessert was good but consisted mostly of ice cream. A nice amaretto cookie base and piped meringue on top. This was probably the weakest part of the meal. No big deal, though because the cappuccino was great and the decaf espresso got a nice review, as well! Drinks were superb, I had the grapefruit basil martini and a Chopin martini with bleu cheese olives! My daughter said the cosmos weee on point. The bar was also happy to accommodate mocktail requests from the elders with delicious virgin mojito and strawberry daiquiri.

My favorite thing from what we ordered would have had to be the onion soup. My boyfriend and I actually fought over it, haha. The crab cakes were underseasoned for my liking. The seafood thermidor was a little too salty for me but tasted better once I added acidity by squeezing a couple lemon wedges on it. The Caesar salad was okay. The chicken pasta was great! Also loved the lobster bisque and baked Alaska. Our server and food runner were great and very attentive, I forgot their names! Also a very quaint and cozy place to have a nice dinner.

Bricks is one of the best restaurants in Reno. This is usually at the top of my list for a birthday or anniversary celebration dinner I recommend making a reservation Service is top tier. From the moment you arrive until it's time to leave, they take care of you This evening I tried the BBQ peppered prawns as an appetizer. Grilled prawns and mushrooms in a very savory pepper and garlic sauce. My main course was a Steak Oscar not on the menu. The steak was a filet cooked rare and topped with Dungeness crab. Delicious My libation of choice throughout the evening were a few old fashioneds made with Blanton's. This is one of the few places in town that serves my favorite bourbon

This well known local restaurant was the location of my birthday dinner and my first visit. A great surprise for me because from start to finish this was a fantastic choice for a celebration dinner. The whole meal from start to finish was delicious. The 5 onion soup was a wonderful surprise and super delicious. The lobster tail, the beef, salad, veggies, all fantastic. Service was excellent and the server was most helpful and provided excellent suggestions. Inside was clean and inviting the wine was fantastic. Will definitely visit again!

I was in Reno on business and found Bricks on Yelp. It did not disappoint! I had the Spinach Salad and Seafood Thermador. Both dishes were excellent. I sat at the bar, and the service was great. It will definitely be one of my go to restaurants when I am in town.

The ambiance was very nice. The food and service were fabulous. A little pricey but worth it.

Second time here and it was another great experience! We came here for Valentine's Day dinner last year and it was so good we did it again this year! We were lucky someone cancelled because I only booked it about one week out and they only had that one spot open for the night. The staff over the phone and in person were very kind. We were seated right at our reservation time, but if we arrived early they would've have room at their beautiful bar to grab a drink at before dinner. Great wine, great steak cooked perfectly, I had the rib eye special and my wife had the filet. We did a "baked Alaska" for desert, my first time having it and it was well worth the extra calories! We decided this will be a valentines tradition for us now! Plus we plan to come back when the weather is nice too because they have a great outdoor dining area too!

Bricks is amazing! Best rib steak! Super tender, and the flavor was not overwhelmed with marinade. You could taste the steak and the flavor of the actual meat. Rather than a marinade. Best steak my husband has had other than that what I cook him! I think I like the mushroom raviolis even more than the Eldorado's. Let me put it this way. They are more fragrant and flavorful because of the onions and I think the chicken stock they use. But it does kind of mute the mushroom flavor, but they were delicious a little richer than what you get at the El Dorado. So I guess it depends on what you prefer. The ambience is perfect too!! 10 in my book!

Have been here many times, to the bar for drinks and escargot, for special dinners and for educational programs. The meals are consistently delicious, from the fresh bread, crab cakes, shrimp and bruschetta to the yummy Caesar salads. That's just the start. Entrees are always fantastic and the pork chops are huge !! Beautiful desserts also, try the cheesecake. It is light and sweet. Thank you to Carissa and her team for fantastic service ! We Bricks.

This is not a place you go if you are in a hurry. Dinner service can be a bit slow but the food is excellent and the team are really pleasant. They always have great steak and seafood. Pretty low key relaxed vibe and an almost hidden bar if you're looking for a drink and a quick meal. Wine list is decent as well.

Eaten here a lot and sadly we won't be back. Came Saturday night and had the worst waiter, omg terrible! WOW! Usually, the service here is exceptional. Took forever to come to our table, ordered drinks and apps. Apps came before drinks. Drinks finally came and mine had a chip on the rim of the martini glass, not ok and so careless. Food is womp womp over priced and outdated. Two of the three of us got sick. One throw up and one diarrhea throughout the night. Too bad. $300+ not worth it.

Quality/Quantity - House Bread - Pretty good. They were warm and one of them was a cheesy mochi texture. The butter was already on the table when we sat down. We would have preferred sea salt on the butter. Cucumber Crab Gazpacho - Special. Wow, This was really good, I regret not getting it. But then I would not have been able to get dessert as I am a light eater. Dungeness Crab Cakes - Done well. Crispy on the outside, generous crab. Creamy Five Onion Soup - Good. Porterhouse Special - I am surprised I finished this, so good. Sea Bass - Always good! We have been ordering this entree more and more as we dine out. Lobster Tail - Another Special. Generous size. Lemon Chicken - Not sure why my daughter ordered this??? Not her usual order. And of course, she took half of it home. Diver Scallops Risotto - Good, felt that the scallops were slightly over cooked. Rack of Lamb - Generous portions. I was impressed that our guest was able to finish this. Filet Mignon - Good, except our 9 year old (yes, 9 years old, has a better palette than I) guest wanted medium and we all felt that this was cooked more medium rare. Nothing a microwave can't solve when she gets home. Salmon - Good. Desserts: Key Lime Pies - 5 stars, my guest says that this is one of the best key lime pies he has had. And he orders this all the time. Chocolate Cab Glazed Brownie - Good. The peanut butter ice cream was extremely good! Baked Alaska - Impressed by the quality of the ice cream. It stayed firm the entire time my daughter slowly (and I mean slowly) ate it. Sorbet Pineapple Banana - Good, our guests did not care for the macaroons. Belgian Chocolate Mousse Cake - Good. Todays drinks: Republic Tea - Unlimited refills. Lemonade - Custom made for my daughter with mixed berry puree, but not refillable. Shirley Temples - Not refillable. Malbec - Complimented perfectly with the Porterhouse Special. Coffee - After dessert. Atmosphere - Good size restaurant, actually looks like a motel entrance from the outside??? Several sections for private dining. Outside patio, which I believe was closed. Bar area, probably the busiest section of the restaurant today. Clean organized bathroom. Open 5 days a week from 5pm to 9pm, closed Sunday & Monday. Plenty of private parking, but today seemed like a very slow day, not many customers. Service - It has been 5 years since our kids got together, what a great reunion. So thank you Heidi who was very patient as we stayed 2.25 hours here talking, laughing, joking, etc. And some of us did not have the best jokes, sorry. Price - $812 which includes the 20% gratuity. Expensive, but that is the price for good food and service. Thank you. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success for over 16+ years. We will be back.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is very well trained and friendly. I usually eat in the bar and order from Scott, the bartender. Scott knows the menu well. The drinks are always good, the food is always fresh and prepared perfectly. There are several restaurants in Reno that I would call 1st Class. Bricks is one of them. This place is really good. Great atmosphere too. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.

One of my absolute favorite places. I love the ambience . If you're looking for a date night. There's a lot of romance in the dining area. Great bar great socializing food is amazing. Waiters are very attentive.

We booked reservations at another restaurant and upon arrival it was not exactly what we were expecting. We called Bricks to see if we needed a reservation and we were told to just come in and they would take care of us. Upon arriving we were greeted by a wonderful host and seated right away. This was exactly what we were looking for for a date night. Ambiance was cozy and elegant! Service was phenomenal all night! Food was great a bit too salty for my liking but delicious! Highly recommend this place for you next date night!

Bricks is old Reno. It's an elegant steak house. The service was spot on. This was my second time here. Last time I was with two guy friends and we all enjoyed it. This time I was on a date. It felt romantic. My date enjoyed her dinner. I had the filet. They did it right. I brought a bottle of wine and the corkage was reasonable. I'd choose Bricks again for a special dinner.

We decided to try this place for the first time. I was in the mood for abalone, and I searched yelp and this is one of the few places that showed up with abalone. I called to make sure they had abalone, and sure enough they did have it. Abalone dinner is not cheap. But it's our 30th anniversary week (lots of in town dinners and fun), might as well splurge right? We called ahead to make sure they had a table, we showed up and were greeted nice enough. We sat in a booth, and had to wait for a while until our server came up. I ordered a Cadillac margarita and I specifically told the girl that I did not like a really sour margarita. And for her to instruct the bartender NOT to put extra lime, and if they didn't have sweet-and-sour, to use orange juice. When I got the margarita I tasted it, it was absolutely the most sour margarita I've ever had. It was like made with pure lime juice. We were on our anniversary so I didn't complain I just sipped it a little slower. My wife had a glass of Moscato. She enjoyed that. The waitress never asked us if we wanted another drink... I asked about the abalone dinner, I think it was $82. But they also had a rack of lamb. And a rack of lamb is something I really enjoy. So I asked her if I could order the rack of lamb, and maybe get just the abalone à la cart? She told me no, that I could only get it for a full dinner. Or I could pay the full price and they would just not put anything on the plate. she said I could have one 3 ounce medallion for $42 as an appetizer... So I decided what the heck let's try that. What we ordered: Cadillac margarita Muscato Abalone appetizer Grilled scallops and cal Rack of lamb medium rare The abalone was not very good...It was pounded to a super thin slice, then dipped in a batter/bread crumbs that was much thicker than the abalone. The sauce was mediocre and the bread crumbs and sauce basically rendered the abalone tasteless. The rack of lamb was not a rack. It was lamb chops. You can see from the pictures that the lamb was cooked after splitting. I think they did this to hurry the process. It is sad as I really wanted to enjoy my 2 favorite items. The fries served with the lamb were coated with flour, so nicely browned but under cooked under the coating. My wife's appetizer was good but only has 2 scallops To make a long story short, our server was just kind of negligent the whole evening. Every time we wanted something we had to ask the busser to go get her. It was obvious that she did not relate the desire to have a non-sour drink. We felt cheated on the abalone and Lamb. The place is quite pretty, but sub par on food in service.

We love this restaurant. Only our second time there but will continue to visit them when we're in town.

What an experience, I sat at the bar and can immediately see the bricks has an emphasis on the service.. Ordered me an old fashion and was impressed with the cocktail, I realized the Bricks is all about its ambiance and service... This is a must-stop if ever in Reno..

We booked a culinary group for a holiday party for approx 25-28 guests, 9 months ago! We let the restaurant pick a day that would work best for them. We were going to order items off their menu, to make their life easy (no culinary creativity beyond their ability) and just asked for them to make the items into a 4-5 course dinner we could match wines. We had two! tastings with the kitchen and asked the 'special event mgr' if this would be ok three times! Then! a month out they said another manager said this was going to be tough. The next day we got a call they did not have enough wine glasses. We said we could provide those. The the next day we get a call they won't have enough plates... are you kidding! The the coup de grace was we would have to have the fish course on the same plate as the elk chop. It had become obvious the manager in charge had something against our group and not the backbone to fess up. Obviously we had to cancell 2 1/2 weeks out and scramble to find another place. We have to ask the question if the owners, who were in the loop and have been in the local restaurant business, what in the world?? Are your managers too inept or to powerful that you cannot fix such simple issues and you are to scared to confront them or step in? If we could rate our experience below a 1, we would!

Birthday gone bad- told waiter son's birthday at beginning- something seemed off - little attention to us (parents & fiancé ) food good though but service felt neglectful compared to other tables - at end desert menus thrown at table and waiter left for 10 minutes-finally manager comes over and - we say tired of waiting and give us check- waiter brings an empty plate with a lit candle on it. Can't understand such rudeness by waiter and management-could it be because fiancé was Hispanic? I have no idea but lack of class compared to restaurants like Atlantis Steakhouse is unbelievable

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by Tom and seated at our table. I really liked the lay out as the bar is in the center and away from the dining rooms. Joy and Guillermo were our servers and took amazing care of us. As an appetizer we had the crab cakes with a creole aioli. Great size and amazing flavor. For soup we had the clam chowder and creamy 5 onion soup. The clam chowder was so fresh and the creamy 5 onion soup was balanced not too rich. Order two Filet Mignons as entrees. Each came with cabernet sauvignon sauce, garlic whipped potatoes, steamed veggies. The filet mignon was amazing. I did not like the vegetables they were very bland. I was hoping for some seasoning or having them grilled vs steamed. Potatoes were ok needed some more flavor. For dessert we had the creme brûlée. It was so tasty and had a hint of vanilla bean. Thank you again to Joy and Guillermo for taking care of us. Looking forward to our next visit.

While the food is good at this restaurant and we have been going for years, I felt the need to warn anyone planning an event there that they just don't have the capability. We planned a holiday party for 9 months with them and ate there three times in that period and met with management each time. We also had numerous emails and phone calls ensuring we were on the same page and they could handle the event. Our last dinner was a wine pairing in October and they told us they were all set and could handle the event that was to occur in 6 weeks. The menu was drafted and approved by management, and the wines were tasted, paired and selected. Invitations were sent out and folks planned around the date and venue. A month before the event, I received a call stating they could not accommodate our event of 30 people. When questioned why, they said they could not do an intermezzo. I told them to remove it from our menu. Then they said they didn't have enough wine glasses. I told them we would bring all the wine glasses. They then said they didn't have enough plates to serve each course separately and we would have to serve family style. This was the nail in the coffin. They went on to say they just don't do wine pairing diners, could not put on a dinner for 30 people, and that they were more comfortable with 15 people maximum. Well this might have been good to let us know back in February when we were told they could handle our group and we actually reserved the date. Or maybe the other three times we visited and ate at the venue spending a couple thousand dollars tasting, pairing and corkage fees. So in the end, good restaurant, but just never plan a event there for more than 15 people. Unfortunately, we will not be back as we do like the restaurant. We just can't support them anymore.

This place is always amazing. You can't go wrong with going here!! Great drinks, great food, awesome service!! This is a must. It's quiet and quaint!! Love this place!!

Our new favorite restaurant! Every single ingredient was so fresh and so flavorful! The service was warm and professional. A great place to unwind with delicious food and wine after a long week. While so many other restaurants in town seem like they're trying so hard to impress with what's cool and trendy now, Bricks feels like the older, more mature counterpart that doesn't NEED to impress because they know through and through that they're simply downright good. They know food, they know flavors-- every single dish was subtlely flavored, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. The natural beauty of each ingredient came through without being overshadowed by "innovative" flavor combinations or scant-yet-fancy presentations. If you simply love good food and wine, you'll get it at Bricks!

Came here after being recommended by a friend. Was really overpriced and the food was pretty average. Will probably try again but I wouldn't recommend it to people.

Joy was our server and she was a joy! This place makes you feel like family. The kitchen is super accommodating on food items, so you can customize a little bit if you want chicken instead of fish on your pasta, etc which is really nice! The manager (or owner) was very active and checking in on guests, which I love to see. My partner and I HIGHLY recommend this place and we will be back before the end of the year is up!

Great local restaurant! The food is always so good here and priced really well! They had an ahi appetizer that was a special of the day, and it was delicious! A really generous portion of ahi. The dish looked amazing and the flavors really complimented one another. I usually get the fillet mignon or the seafood thermidor for an entree. You can go wrong with either one, they are both amazing! The staff were helpful and nice during our visit. Overall great spot for a date night and they really know what they are doing!

I am shocked to find that I have not reviewed this restaurant before. One of our all time favorites in Reno. Classic old school steakhouse. Great bar, cocktails, food, ambiance, service... all 5 star. Recently we reserved one of the private rooms for my Wife's Birthday. We had a group of 18 and it could not have gone any better. Joy was my contact and our server for the evening and from planning to execution, everything was perfect. She did an excellent job. Highly Recommend!!

The food, oh, so yummy. I had the sea bass, and it was crispy on the outside and like butter on the inside. The wagyu beef was so tender you could cut it with a fork, no steak knife needed. I finished off my meal with a baked Alaskan and an espresso. Our waitress was so good, she made some great suggestions and was very detailed with her answers to our questions about the menu. She has a great sense of humor, too. The restaurant was very nicely set up with a great wine selection. The noise level was not bad, and I had no problem hearing our tables' conversation. Great restaurant, great food, and great service. Cheers.

This is the best restaurant in town by far. Offering classic dishes and some exotic foods as well. Really good service nice environment and really comfortable. This is my go to place.

Bricks has very quickly become a favorite restaurant for my husband and I. Our first visit was about a year ago but we've been back for multiple date nights since then because of how much we love it! All of the food we've had is fantastic and the service has been good too. We always get the mushroom cap appetizer to share (dip your bread in the sauce once done) and the filet mignon. They've always cooked our steaks to perfection and the mashed potatoes and vegetables it comes with are the perfect complement to the filet. It's a great, quiet little spot with some great food and drinks!

Just a great dining experience here! Everything was great, good, service and atmosphere. Three of us had the ability tuna special with lobster resoto, absolutely delicious. I don't typically order resoto but this was worth the calories. Large chunks of lobster were everywhere. The aging was delicious, just melted in your mouth. The lamb was fantastic. So well cooked. The mushroom ravioli was great, loved the flavors. Service was absolutely fantastic! Great place for a nice dinner

We had the most amazing dinner at Bricks tonight. The food was exceptional but what really made the night was how incredible our waitress Joy was. She was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the best apps and food and truly added magic to our night.
