Brickstone Hostel Ulm/Neu-Ulm

Super charming, super well-equipped, super quiet. Anja is a true pleasure to talk to and clearly likes what she's doing. Ulm has its own special vibe, and a big part of what makes it special is this hostel. I'll be back.

It was an incredible experience for a month. The hosts Anja and Ria are very friendly, accommodating, and understanding. It is very clean and regularly maintained. It was one of the best times that i had in Germany. The hosts also offer friendly local recommendations for travel,food, and other things. The best part of my experience was bicycle rent to explore regions of Neu Ulm and Ulm. I would highly recommend it to others, a worthwhile place to stay.

Amazing hostel, small but cozy, very clean, even though it is next to the street, it was not too noisy. The staff is super nice, they have a well equipped kitchen,also the common room has many things and they even had a iron,in like 5-10 minutes you are in the center. You have to pay with cash, the prices are fair.

Lovely hostel, rooms and shared areas were perfectly clean. Our room was a good size and the beds were comfortable, we didn't hear much noise from outside or the other guests throughout the night. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Plenty of nice touches around the place to make you feel at home!

I booked a private room for 2 nights and am very pleased with the experience. +Friendly Staff +Clean room, kitchen, facilities +Free Tea/Coffee Area +Easy Check-In & Great Communication with the host +Great Location: is walking distance from the Neu-Ulm station, and all tourist attractions. +Secure: Key code to get into building and private room has it's own key which allowed me to stash gear while I walked around town. Had a great time at Brickstone Hostel. The private room was really clean, nice and well decorated, as well as the common area (Kitchen and relax area). Toilet and showers really clean and well organized.||Even if we arrived later than the reception opening hours, we didn't have any problems to get in through infos previously given to us.||It's located in Neu-Ulm, 10 minutes away from Ulm - old city center.||Highly recommended!

Such a cozy place! It immediately felt like home! There was a piano, a guitar, a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea. The host were really lovely as well! Also top location for a good price! I can really recommend!

I'm a 56 year old housewife from New York State who decided to backpack through Germany for 7 weeks. Brickstone Hostel was my "first" hostel experience and it was above and beyond my expectations! The proprietress, Anja and her colleague Rie are really wonderful people, very welcoming- very good at what they do! I stayed in a private room, sharing the toilet and shower with the entire floor. My room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I had to borrow a towel from the supply in the kitchen, it wasn't the most luxurious but it got the job done! The toilet and shower areas were always clean. There was a pleasant mix of ages from 20 somethings to 50 somethings and I enjoyed conversation with a group of five at breakfast my first morning. I arrived via train on a rainy evening and hopped on a bus that deposited me just down the street from the hostel. I had received detailed email instructions on how to enter the hostel after hours. I was able to walk everywhere and even that first dark, rainy night I found a good Chinese restaurant still serving at 21h! I highly recommend Brickstone Hostel!
