Bridgeside books will always hold a special place in my heart. From my engagement, wedding, and a reading retreat, they really go above and beyond. Their focus is definitely not limited ☺️

Absolutely loved this gem of a bookstore. I especially enjoyed the local books section and enjoyed the "Vermont Book of the Dead" on cemeteries throughout Vermont. I also loved all the stickers! Can't wait to be back.

I cannot say enough great things about this bookstore and their staff. The bookstore itself is cozy and has everything you could imagine wanting from your next book adventure to a cozy stuffed animal and tea to curl up with or your next craft or puzzle. If I had a million dollars I would probably spend it all here. The staff are absolutely wonderful as well. I have gone in there saying “hmm I liked this book and wanted something with a similar vibe”. Every time they recommend the perfect book, it is a true skill and testament to their knowledge and love of the book world. I highly recommend you visit this store and experience the magic for yourself.

It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, explore, and maybe leave with something unexpected (but perfect). A rare find in today’s world — this bookstore has heart, and it shows.

Great local bookshop offering a wide variety of events, author talks, book retreats and more! The shop carries a diverse collection of your standard genres but also has a big focus on Vermont creatives and authors. Great children’s space and rentable board games! Staff and owner are always friendly and accommodating to special orders and requests or just a chat around the fun and exciting things around town. Highly recommend.

This little independent bookstore was a delight to visit. They have a very nice selection of books and gifts. It’s cozy and inviting. Highly recommended for both long meandering explorations of the shelves and quick stops while passing through town.

I love it when reviewers describe indie bookstores as "too small, limited selection" and drop 2 or 3 stars. If you wanted an unlimited selection, go somewhere else! The indie bookstore experience is just that, a small and thoughtfully curated selection. There's simply not enough space to fit everything in!

The store hosted an amazing book weekend with authors Katherine Arden & Sarah Beth Durst last April. Loved every minute of it & came back with even more books (obviously!) from this special gem of a store. Owner Katya & all her staff were wonderful to chat with & looking forward to more future events.

This fantastic shop is connected to the Stowe Cafe, and it has tons of unique gifts and cards. They have a great selection of books, children-adult, and an excellent sale area. I had very pleasant customer service also.
