Super cute and aesthetic restaurant + bar!Definitely come during happy hour, they have 50% off pizzas and $10 cocktails, such a steal!!! We tried the cruel summer, operation grand Slam, and blurry Night. My favorite was Cruel Summer it was sweeter, fruitier compared to the others. For food, we ordered the truffled mushroom rigatoni, roasted cauliflower, and the mushroom and salami pizza. The cauliflower was my favorite idk what sauce they used, but it was so flavorful, fresh, and addictive. The salami pizza was also really good, the salty meat paired perfectly with the drizzle of honey on top. The interior was clean, warm, and cozy, with floor to ceiling windows that make the space feel open and airy, especially during brunch hours when the natural light pours in. There’s tons of seating, a bar area, café/couch section, and both upstairs and downstairs seating. The service was great and they were happy to let us hang out for a bit after dinner. Something I noticed and liked was that next to each cocktail you can see the glass/cup it will come it. Overall, such a lovely spot! 🍕🍸

Bridgette Bar is a perfect restaurant for a date night. The ambience really stands out with dim lighting and a cozy vibe that makes the place feel warm and inviting. The food was excellent. The eggplant fries are an absolute must try — perfectly cooked and so flavorful. We also had the mushroom pizza, which was rich, well balanced, and really satisfying. The service was amazing throughout, and the staff went above and beyond by making a cocktail for us that wasn’t even on the menu, which we really appreciated. Great food, thoughtful service, and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed evening out.

​The culinary inspiration was immediately evident, starting with the appetizers served near the floating fireplace by the upstairs bar. Everything we sampled was amazing. ​I found the flavors to be complex and intriguing, a genuine treat for the taste buds. In particular, the chicken liver pâté, which sounded deceptively simple, was absolutely delicious; the perfectly chosen garnishes offered a wonderful complement to the rich flavor. It was definitely worth the late afternoon visit.

An absolute gem in the heart of the city! The restaurant was chic, cohesive and very welcoming. Service was great. The food was next level! Every dish was intentional in its design and execution, making everything from the appetizers to the entrees its own culinary experience. I highly recommend visiting and make sure to bring an appetite!

Had a fabulous dinner experience at Bridgette Bar! We booked a reservation for our group of 4 in advance and our table was ready right on time. The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic, with a really warm feeling. The music they were playing was also exceptional - usually music sinks to the background but their playlist really stood out to us! We shared the garlic bread to start (highly recommend). They added an extra piece to be enough for our group of 4 (at an additional cost of course). For my main I had the Shrimp & Calamari pasta. I wouldn’t recommend honestly because I found it to be quite fishy (hence -1 on food). But that wouldn’t stop me from coming back and trying other things in the menu! The rest of the group really enjoyed their meals. The star of the show really is the banana pie. I’m not one for banana, or pie, and I absolutely love it. The salty and sweet combination plus not too much banana really made it an exceptional dessert. On top of the food, service was warm, informative, and attentive. We didn’t feel rushed and really enjoyed our meal. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

This place has the cutest vibe — I’m in love with it! The decor is beautiful and the food was tasty. The only downside was that our pasta and lamb didn’t come together! Pasta came first and lamb after 20 minutes, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything else was amazing!

We tried the crispy potatoes, crispy polenta, and the 5-cheese pizza—everything was absolutely delish. Cocktails were on point, and the service was friendly and attentive. Such a great spot!

Came here for their happy hour, and their pizza did not disappoint! We ordered two of their pizza, and it was more than enough food for three girls! Each pizza had their own unique flavours! Highly recommend this place for a casual date/ catching up with friends!

Bridgette Bar is a very spacious venue and conveniently located in the Well. The space is stylish and warm, the service is attentive without being pushy, and every dish is packed with flavour. From the fresh, vibrant small plates to the perfectly executed mains, everything felt thoughtful and elevated. A beautiful spot for a cozy dinner, a date night, or catching up with friends. Highly recommend giving it a try. My only challenge was that it was noisy. I definitely recommend the calamari pasta dish, I enjoyed the mix of pine nuts and caprers.

Had a great time at this spot! We both had not been to this little spot and were delighted by both its relaxed and atmosphere and customer service. We came in for dessert and a coffee to catch up. We were not rushed even as we sat and talked for a couple hours. Considering this initial experience, am definitely interested in trying the rest of their offerings. Highly recommend.

Came to Bridgette Bar to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday! My boyfriend wanted to be surprised with a dinner spot so after much deliberation, I decided on Bridgette Bar, and it did not disappoint. Everything from the service, ambience, and food was GREAT. My server was attentive and friendly but it didn't seem inauthentic. She was also very helpful with choosing our dinner options and letting us know that there's complimentary coat check and sparkling water.  For food, we got the shrimp to start and the pork sausage pasta and tonnarelli. The shrimp was placed on a bed of green goddess sauce which was so fresh, light and creamy. The shrimp includes sheets of endive you can use to eat this like a lettuce wrap. I guess I'm not a fan of endive because it tasted bitter. However, it was such a nice appetizer before dinner, I'd honestly get it again even though I don't like endive, just to eat the shrimp again.  The pork sausage pasta wasn't my boyfriend's favourite but he did really enough the tonnarelli. The pork sausage sauce tasted like a light emulsified spicy sauce and I loved the huge chunks of pork sausage. The tonnarelli was flavourful and full of different textures. The pasta noodles had ridges and the bread crumb topping gave everything a nice crunch. For dessert, we had to get the banana pie as it's Bridgette Bar's most popular dessert. It's a 7-layer banana pie with a meringue layer, a coffee layer, a banana puree layer, a pretzel base and more! This was good, definitely on the sweeter side. The caramel was bitter though... not sure if it's supposed to be like that.  I would highly recommend Bridgette Bar. The ambience feels warm and inviting and I love the open space of the place (the second floor is way better).

Came here for a quick late night drink! Such a pretty spot, whether its downstairs or the bar upstairs or the dining area. Floor to ceiling windows, cute fire place, etc. Service was good. No looks even when we came less than an hour before closing. Drinks were okay. Tried a fee cocktails. Would be open to come back and try the food.

Bridgette Bar located at The Well near Front/Spadina serves up seasonal dishes with fresh and local ingredients where the menu is chef-driven. Hailing from Calgary, the menu is divided into sharables, pizzas, pastas, and larger mains. There is also an extensive wine, cocktail, beer, and non-alcoholic drink menu as well. They have a great happy hour deal (daily from 2-5pm) where cocktails are half off and menu items are discounted. If you sit in the lounge area on the main floor they have additional happy hour deals which run all night long. The main dining hall, which is located on the second floor, is big where it is suitable for groups or small parties. The space is accessible where there is an elevator available for use to access the 2nd floor. Recently dined at Bridgette Bar on a Friday night. Our party of 4 made sure to make reservations ahead of time. The place was pretty busy the whole night. The lighting can be a bit dim so you may have a hard time reading your menu depending on where you sit. Seating is comfortable and the space is big. Service wise, our waitress was friendly where she offered recommendations and made us feel welcome. In terms of food, I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc, the garlic bread (with cheese curds) to share, and a shrimp and calamari pasta (radiatori, pine nuts, capers) for my main. We also shared the banana pie (coffee, pretzel, rum caramel). Food and drinks came at a reasonable time. We never felt rushed during our meal. The garlic bread was a pillowy bite of cheesy goodness where there was cheese inside the bread as well as on top of the bread. My pasta was a bit of a letdown. Pasta was a bit overcooked where it wasn't al dente and I felt that the pasta was swimming in sauce (there was a lot of sauce left over when I finished my plate). Felt like the pasta dish also needed some salt and the combination of the seafood with the capers didn't work for me. Also, the shrimps in the dish were all baby shrimps where the calamari was cut up into really small pieces. I did enjoy the sprinkle of breadcrumbs on the pasta though as it added an additional textural component to the overcooked pasta. Lastly, the banana pie was great for sharing, however a bit too sweet for my liking. I also didn't taste much banana flavour in the pie but I enjoyed the crust of the pie which added a nice crunch to the whole dessert. At the end of the meal we felt like we were rushed out of the restaurant as if our time was up. The waitress just gave us our bills when we had not even asked for them. Another staff came by with the credit card machine expecting that we were ready to pay. Overall, a good place to share many dishes where the space is able to host larger parties. Food wise, I didn't find anything special about what we ordered and likely will not be returning.

The place is spacious and beautifully laid out across three floors - mini bar with some dining tables on the first floor, a full lounge bar on the second, and a big dining hall on the third. Love how they mixed classic and modern elements - modern eclectic with some vintage touches which really work well together. Eggplant Fries - Was worried about greasiness (you know how eggplant soaks up oil) but these were great. Perfect cut size and stayed crispy instead of soggy. The yogurt dip added some refreshment. Stracciatella - Hard to see the components due to the dimmed lights, but it was basically like a yogurt spread for the focaccia, tasty but wished the quantity could have been more. Wagyu Beef Carpaccio - Really tender raw slices with a delicious sauce. The cheese garnish added some buttery richness, definitely a highlight. Chicken Sausage Pizza - Handmade pizza with a good amount of cheese and chicken sausage pieces. Loved that they kept the base thin. Service was great - efficient and friendly without being overbearing. Let's get straight to review of the food. The garlic bread was innovative and somehow tasted better when they got cold. Fennel pizza - for those that are skeptical about fennel (like I am. I don't like it) don't let this pizza scare you! You actually cannot taste any fennel and it's literally just a spicy salami pizza. Even our server advised that you cannot taste fennel at all and that they should really change the name of the pizza lol. I think others have probably felt the same as I. This was so good, I'd actually get it again. Again, this is spoken from someone who doesn't like the taste of fennel lol. The steak is defs a shareable dish and this would be plenty enough (defs too much for me) if one person ordered it to themselves. Steak was cooked to perfection and tender. They say it comes medium rare but I would say it was more of a medium. Like it was not bleeding lol. Everything on this dish was amazing. The spinach was seasoned with I dunno what, but it was good, and I ate almost all of it. The mushroom potato concoction was actually so unique and tasty. I almost didn't eat it because I had no idea what it was. I almost missed out on that amazing creation! Banana pie was A LOT. Like not even the two of us could finish it lol. Super sweet but the coffee portion of it was my fave. My friend and server convinced me that they had run out of the banana pie and that was the one thing I wanted to try so bad. So it was a pleasant surprise when our server came over with the pie and a candle stuck in it for my bday. FYI, this isn't complimentary lol. They will charge you for this still. Which I don't have a problem with. Just wanna let yall know this isn't a keg situation where they give you a free Billy minor pie on your bday lol. Service was friendly, fun and honest. The design and layout of this place is GORGEOUS. Waters were refilled without asking and even when we actually needed to ask (one time) it wasn't hard to track someone down and get an immediate refill. Wonderful experience and I would defs return!

I was hanging out with my daughter on the weekend and she took me to this place . Soo good . The ambiance is good. Every table has a breathing room . There are table and chairs and long seating sofas which look absolutely comfortable. We ordered one drink each . It was good , reminded me of Morocco. With every sip you enjoy the flavour. The pizza was very fresh , enjoyed our afternoon.

From the very beginning to the end of our dinner, the experience was phenomenal. You'll notice right away that the decor and the interior design is modern and beautiful. The wait stuff in hosts were all super nice. We started off with some drinks, and our waiter was very helpful in helping us decide what to get based on our mood and preferences. The cruel Summer was such a delight, but I must say that the French export was my favourite of the chill if you like lemon, sweet and refreshing. The weather was also very helpful in helping us decide what menu items to get. We started off with the spiced beet salad which was season so beautifully with a delicious whipped feta and the pistachios were a great complement. When I come back, I'm definitely having to sell it again. then for our mains, we ordered the rainbow trout as recommended by our waiter because it was his favourite and it did not disappoint, has a very nice fillet however, it did have a quite few small bones that I had to spit out. And we also got the Tonarelli. This is a bit heavier as it was a pasta, but I think it had a really great flavour and I really enjoyed it. We ended off with a banana pie slice because we were celebrating a birthday and I honestly didn't have very high expectations for this because I'm not a huge fan of meringue but every layer in this banana pie was amazing. It had about 5 to 7 layers of different flavours and textures all complementing one another . I would definitely recommend this place and I'll be coming back for a nice dinner. PS they seem to have a pretty good happy hour to so I would suggest going then if you're looking for some savings.

Best happy hour specials on Wellington right by the well!! Menu includes half priced pizza and drinks (cocktails AND wine). Pizza is delicious and their cocktails are unique and strong (unlike king west bars lol). Always a good time here and unpretentious. Service is great as well. First restaurant I was able to try in Toronto. It's a neat place with 2 levels and a cute atmosphere. I ordered the lamb sirloin and paired it with one of their red wines (Grenache). I had it cooked to the temp of whatever they recommended (medium rare I think) it was phenomenal. I also got a spaghettis western cocktail, it was basically an old fashioned. It was a little on the sweeter side for my taste, but all of their cocktails on the menu seemed to be leaning on the sweeter side. Overall, I liked the restaurant and wouldn't mind coming back.

For the all-important Valentine's day dinner we ended up choosing Bridgette Bar, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. From start to finish, the service and vibes were on point. For the drinks we started off with the espresso martini (solid), and finished with the french export (excellent) and the spaghetti western (honestly a bit too bold for our tastes). As for the food, the garlic bread and tonarelli (lamb pasta) were excellent - especially when dipped into each other - and the wagyu carpaccio was decent too but the steak felt like a bit of a miss. Overall the dinner was excellent and Jordan was a really helpful server. We are looking forward to coming back!

Amazing happy hour. Half off all drinks, not a select menu which makes it better than lulu bar. Half off pizzas too. We've had three and the best of them is the mushroom pizza. Wow! The banana pie is incredibly delicious. Service is another thing that is amazing. The couple of times we got here,Noel and Daryl were so good. We celebrated a birthday here and they made our occasion so special. The ambiance is very upscale and you want to dress nicely here. I love the plants and the warm lighting. They have an active theme with biker mural and a surfer on their menus.

Great service and great ambience. The food was great, and the portions were pretty good considering it was tapas. The cheese curd garlic bread was delicious as advertised. The banana pie was a little sweeter than I would've liked, the piece was huge! Definitely one to share, wouldn't be able to eat it all on my own. A great place for a small group or a larger group. Make reservations!

I really enjoyed coming to Bridgette. We ordered Fennel Salami pizza and it tasted so good! Majority of their pizza are half off during their happy hour. The service was also very friendly and nice. Inside was very clean and had good music. I would highly recommend.

I dined during their happy hour for a birthday and the service was really nice. The space itself is pretty great; it's spacious and has a nice lounge and bar area. The presentation of food was good but the flavour was lacking so much that even the happy hour deals couldn't justify it. Every single item we ordered was incredibly bland. I was excited for the carpaccio, but it tasted very odd. The mushroom pizza was supposed to be a safe order but the mushrooms were cut up into big chunks so it was awkward to eat. Star of the show was obviously the cheese bread. That at least tasted great. Overall this was very overhyped and I'm tired of influencers being paid to say great things about establishments while us paying customers are constantly being disappointed.

Got influenced to come here - so many instagram and tiktok videos of this place. First of all, the place is pretty good looking. Love the Scandinavian styled fireplace, tall ceilings, and overall decor. However, its the food that falls a bit short (some good, some average, some meh). Garlic bread + truffles (4.5/5), Spiced beet salad (4/5), Tagliatelle (4.5/5), wagyu beef carpaccio (1.5/5), five cheese pizza (3/5), Banana pie (4/5), Chocolate millefeuille (3/5). One thing I wish to point out was try your best to catch the happy hour times! 1/2 price in cocktails and pizza is quite amazing. At their happy hour pricing, would make this place a much higher rating. Overall Kel rating: 3/5 The good: beautiful place, large amount of seating, amazing area to walk around after (the well). The decent: try your best to come around happy hour (best value). The ugly: parking can be challenging.

We came to Bridgette Bar during happy hour on a weekday. For happy hour, there are deals on alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Besides drinks, they have pasta, small plates, large plates, and pizza. We got a drink each and shared a pizza, which was good. Attentive and friendly service! In terms of the interior, the space is surrounded by plants and is very pretty. Accessibility: stairs up, but there is an elevator. Washrooms are individual stalls. There is outdoor and indoor seating.

It's fancy and flashy, but food lacks soul. Cocktails were very weak both in alcohol and flavour and pasta was very underwhelming. Saving grace was the pizza which hit all the right spots.

Love the happy hour here . It runs from 2 to 5pm everyday. Half price pizza and all drinks. The inside is gorgeous and patio is great for people watching. Service is always good.

This restaurant is very deceiving. We walked in on a Thursday night thinking it was a small neighborhood spot. They brought us upstairs and the restaurant is huge and airy The cocktail menu is wild - really liked that they put the size in ounces of each drink Surprised by the spaghetti western cocktail Mortadella sando - get it. It's over the top delicious The rest of the food was great - pasta needed salt Fun spot. Cool vibes.

A very beautiful restaurant located at The Well! The service was only okay. The hummus chips dish was mid so I wouldn't recommend it. The garlic bread was absolutely amazing and so flavourful and is a must-order as an appetizer! I really enjoyed the roasted half duck, it was my favourite dish I had. The lamb sirloin was also really good but a little too salty.

Saturday night we went to "Bridgette" this fabulous restaurant at "The Well" Overall the service was quick with few lulls. It's a stunning space like a 70's inspired lounge. The waitress was cute, spunky, and endearing. For my cocktail I had a "Heartbreak Mountain with lemon & bergamot gin. earl grey tea. lemon. lavender,milk washed". It was fantastic with a sprig of lavender on my ice cube. Then we had the "Crispy Smashed Potatoes with Charred Shallot Aioli, Hendeck Cheese, Chive", and it was incredible. Next the "Tomato Salad with Stone Fruit, Brown Butter Emulsion, Crouton, Nasturtium" I did not care for this dish. My partner, and I both thought it had a "odd taste". Next was the Mushroom pizza with Roasted Maitake, Tuscan Kale, Grana Padano, Fontina. That was spectacular. Finally the SHOWSTOPPER !! The Banana Pie with Coffee, Pretzel, Rum Caramel! I'm dreaming about it now. Overall 8/10

Food: 4/5 We came for the happy hour which is a fantastic deal here! It's half off all drinks and pizzas and I love that there's no seperate happy hour menu, the half off applies to literally all drinks. Very expansive drinks menu too. We started off with the beef carpaccio which was well balanced; tangy and savoury with a mushroom finish... definitely our favourite starter. The garlic bread was also fantastic, served fresh out the oven, perfectly crispy and filled with cheese giving you the most stunning cheese pull. Eggplant fries were okay as was the smoked tuna crudo, but probably wouldn't order it again. I personally like the starters and apps here more than the mains, especially if you're here for happy hour. The sausage pasta was okay, very shareable portion for sure. The pizza here is fantastic! Even if you're not a huge pizza lover like me, the pizza here has a thin crisp on the crust and bottom, but perfectly soft and comforting inside. So so yummy! Finally... the famous banana pie... we devoured it. It was very sweet and it definitely gets sweeter with every bite so I don't think I could've finished it on my own. But to share, this pie is perfect. It's so decadent with a gorgeous salted crust. Perfect finish to the meal. Overall, while the taste is nothing extraordinary, the food is still very enjoyable nonetheless. Bridgette bar offers excellent portions at very reasonable prices, will definitely be back for another happy hour soon. Service: 5/5 The servers here are so friendly and helpful! Joey, our server was so friendly and truly uplifted the entire dining experience. The way he treated us felt like he was our friend or classmate, not like a very transactional customer service role. The rest of the staff here are also fantastic! Water glasses were never empty and empty dishes were quick cleared. Thank you Bridgette bar for such amazing service! Atmosphere: 4/5 absolutely massive space! We booked a reservation ahead just in case as it was a Saturday, but this place is so expansive I don't think we really needed too. Beautiful interior with high ceilings. Love the floor to ceiling windows, which let in a lot of natural light. Washrooms here are like an individual washroom in each stall. I will say it is quite loud in regards to both music and general volume. Perhaps the size of the space combined with the open layout with high ceilings amplified the noise... we did feel like we needed to yell to hear each other.
