Bridgewater Apartments & Terraces

Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. Apartment was very dated, dirty and had very old worn funiture. Fridge was filthy. Cupboards didnt close properly. Both bathrooms had several broken tiles. Showers were moldy. Toilets had yellow staining on and around the seat and underneath. To be able to get to the pool you have to walk through a dark carpark and down a tiny corridor past privately owned rooms. The only thing that seems to be maintained was the swimming pool (thanks to the ridiculous amount of chlorine) the pool area did need alot more chairs and seating areas to be able to accommodate such a large number of rooms around the property. Location wise is fine. Not many restaurants around the vicinity but still a few to be able to walk to. I would think twice about booking a stay here. I definitely wont be booking or recommending to anyone ever again!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the lake in late September and I honestly felt compelled to write a review because we were so pleasantly surprised. After reading a few mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect but our experience was nothing like what some of them describe. It’s not a five star hotel but that’s not what it’s advertised as, and for what it is, it was excellent. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view over the lake was beautiful and the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. We had a really enjoyable time and would happily stay again.

Extremely disappointing stay – misleading listing and poor customer service Our recent booking at Bridgewater Apartments, Kangaroo Point was a very unpleasant experience. 1. The photos advertised do not match the actual apartment we were given. The condition was far worse than shown online. 2. Furniture was old, worn, and broken, clearly not maintained. 3. Several lights did not work and some had no bulbs at all, creating a potential electricity safety hazard. 4. The fridge was dirty and smelly, with visible leaked yellow liquid sitting in the fridge trays. 5. The microwave was filthy, with food pieces stuck inside. 6. The floor was extremely dirty — walking barefoot caused our feet to become black with dirt. 7. The outdoor mesh door could not be properly opened or closed. 8. The bathroom door also could not be opened or closed properly. 9. We lodged a complaint with reception. Staff came to look but did absolutely nothing to fix the issues. By 4pm all staff had left the reception desk, leaving us with no support. 10. At 5am, all our key cards suddenly stopped working, and once again no staff from the apartment responded or provided any solution. On top of all this, the customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional, especially from a staff member named Renay. This property is poorly maintained, misleadingly advertised, and has unacceptable customer service. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

Scouring the interent for a half decent accomodation for a reasonable price in a reasonable area. If you are DO NOT pick this place! On paper sure has everything you need for a family stay but every appliance is wrecked, rusted or on its last legs. Clean? Someone elses toothpaste, BLOOD in the bathroom and lighter under the bed ready for the kiddos to find and start playing with. We were disgusted by the state of the what felt like facebook market place furniture, the rusted out washing machine and pulled up carpet!! We undertand we paid aprox 300 a night for a 2 bedroom suite but didnt expect to be in a cheap air bnb! Dont make our mistake

Good location. Apartments needs renovating as it's very dated and lots of maintenance required. Some cupboard doors don't close properly, the lounge, carpet and curtains are very worn. The pool area is nice as is the view from the apartment.

Have stayed here many times over the past 6 years. Unfortunately, this is the last time. Management has changed and apart from the wonderful location, Bridgewater apartments have fallen well below accepted standards. The rooms and furnishings are shabby and poorly maintained. The kitchens have barely enough basic equipment with many items missing or unusable. The reception staff, all of whom have changed since our last visit were unwelcoming and unhelpful. The basic prices have increased considerably with no discount for return visitors.

The Bridgewater apartments is a enormous building with some apartments viewing Eagle Street Riverside and Story bridge. Also some apparents has been renovated, and guest have unique stay. Experience of heaven, a luxury, extravagant. I stay a year ago, or so, in one of those renovated apartment, on riverside views.... Was paradise in heaven... This time I got, into older apartment with old furniture. That is why I gave 2 stars. Housekeeping, is thorough, mindful and meticulous in renovated apartments, but, NOT in unrenovated once. I think the management there, forbids the cleaners, to clean them.... No cleaning at all.... :(

This place was in the perfect spot right on the river. BUT oh my god was it filthy. I had to wash cutlery and crockery before we used it. The kitchen bench and dining table were also dirty. And the coffee table was gross. I don’t think the windows have ever been cleaned. I don’t think the toilet has ever seen a toilet brush. And the walls and light switches I don’t think have ever been wiped. This place would have been perfect had it been clean as there was plenty of room, 2 bathrooms, also a large kitchen and washing machine and dryer. It also had balcony that looked over the water but the furniture was covered in ice cream.
