Extremely disappointing stay – misleading listing and poor customer service
Our recent booking at Bridgewater Apartments, Kangaroo Point was a very unpleasant experience.
1. The photos advertised do not match the actual apartment we were given. The condition was far worse than shown online.
2. Furniture was old, worn, and broken, clearly not maintained.
3. Several lights did not work and some had no bulbs at all, creating a potential electricity safety hazard.
4. The fridge was dirty and smelly, with visible leaked yellow liquid sitting in the fridge trays.
5. The microwave was filthy, with food pieces stuck inside.
6. The floor was extremely dirty — walking barefoot caused our feet to become black with dirt.
7. The outdoor mesh door could not be properly opened or closed.
8. The bathroom door also could not be opened or closed properly.
9. We lodged a complaint with reception. Staff came to look but did absolutely nothing to fix the issues. By 4pm all staff had left the reception desk, leaving us with no support.
10. At 5am, all our key cards suddenly stopped working, and once again no staff from the apartment responded or provided any solution.
On top of all this, the customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional, especially from a staff member named Renay.
This property is poorly maintained, misleadingly advertised, and has unacceptable customer service. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here.
