Bridport Bay Inn

Stayed at the Bay Inn, rooms are large and clean with extra beds for others. Beds are very comfy had a great night's sleep. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, the seafood excellent. The creamy scallops in their shells for entree, perfect. Had fish of the day with roast vegetables & pesto sauce, absolutely yummy. Would recommend booking. Will be back again.

Wanted a little get away for me and the kids..so booked a night at Bridport Bay inn and just let say I booked in for a week next Christmas hoilday..the staff were super friendly and helpful. They did not make cocktails but a staff member offered to creat something for me and it was just perfect. I am a cleaner and I could not fault how clean the room was. Very rare to find that. Can't wait for the next time we go back. Very impressed 👏

Just recently stayed here at the Bay Inn then that would be very comfortable in a great position. You can walk everywhere and the best hot showers I’ve had would stay again.

Enjoyed a well prepared meal with good service and friendly staff. The local scallops and wood fired pizza were excellent. Nice views and atmosphere. Everything you want for a relaxing meal at a coastal town. Will definitely be back.

Stayed for one night during the week. Found it to be a quiet location, room very clean, water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Had a meal in the pub was very good.

The Bridport Bay Inn is a great place to base yourself while visiting Bridport & the North East of Tasmania. The rooms are spotless with a very comfortable bed & about 50m away from the pub so very quiet. The pub does awesome food & a big drink selection. It’s a friendly relaxed bar & bistro & out on the patio area in the sun is the perfect spot for a beer after a day of sightseeing. The manager Darren & his crew will make you feel very welcome.

The menu looked good but we ended up with a different meal than we ordered. The lamb rump was supposed to have a base of root vegetables with pepper and red wine jus, instead we got chips and a salad without any dressing. My pork belly came out dry with poorly baked potatoes instead of mashed. At first the waitress ignored us when we pointed out that we did not get what we ordered. Eventually the issue was resolved with a 50% discount on one of the meals. Almost no one else buying meals at the time, it seems even the locals vote with their feet and go to the other pub down the road.
