Pre booked 2 night stay, end April and low patronage due to the season. Park is situated adjacent to the bay and across acres of natural bushland, terraced sites on grass set into the hillsides, others nestled in the treed areas. Super helpful staff in changing our allocated site behind other vans to #126 with a view. New amenities are situated at the base of the hill near reception but the other two blocks are ancient. Shower block has been refurbished however drainage runs across all 3 cubicles leaving others to get your dirty water. The hot water flow is controlled by button 4 minute timers on the wall outside the showers and there is no dry area left once you have showered. Water goes everywhere. The toilet block is feral, not named men’s/Ladies but signage saying ladies to the right, men to the left, seats were left up indicating men were using the ladies. The basin is so tiny you cannot wash your hands properly and the fluorescent lights don’t work properly, one flickers, the other was hit and miss to coming on. This and an electrical issue with the power supply on site 126 was advised by email to the park. At $52 night off season it is overpriced for the facilities provided. The views, sites and serenity are terrific.

A lovely but simple caravan park that is very spread out (4 entrances). Friendly service and tidy campsites without being fancy or luxurious. We stayed in our campervan for one night it was lovely with a fantastic sunrise over the bay. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Showers are timed - keep pushing the button outside the cubicle for 3 more minutes. Kitchen amenities (for which the owner apologised - upgrade coming soon) were open and simple and wet with dew in the morning. We had a waterfront site and it was a tiny bit annoying to have a public walking path between our site and the waterfront rocks (people walking within 5m of our van). So if you want more privacy, don't get a waterfront site.

We drove past this spot and had to come back at the end of our trip. Spent two nights and loved it. The park manager was super lovely and checked us in late. The park is also huge! We had amazing views from our rooftop tent and were super close to amenities. Snorkelling on high tide and the foreshore path was super worthwhile riding too. 🚲

Beachfront location makes this caravan park a popular spot, but that is it’s only saving grace. Not only are the facilities very dated, depending on where you are located, it can be a 300 metre walk to nearest block. We are very fit and enjoy a walk, but when you want a shower, or to brush your teeth at night, and it is raining, a 600 metre round trip is annoying and inconvenient. We got back to our site cold and soaking wet. It’s a massive park with over 200 sites with many long term dwellings. There are three separate entrance points - which would have been useful information to include in the check in details for arrivals after hours. Easy walking distance to town.

We stayed at the caravan park in our own Touring van. Great spot and great location for town and all local activities. Sadly the only thing that put a damper on our stay was my husband lost his Gold wedding band here. We were on pitch 21(Gate 5) and he thinks he left it in the small toilet block behind our caravan. But nothing was handed in. We also retraced our steps to where we had been that evening and the ring was not there. Very sad. But our stay was otherwise EXCELLENT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location was spot on, we were a stones throw from the beach. Checkin was easy as we had to do after hours. The staff I dealt with were brilliant. Such a beautiful outlook to wake up to. Highly recommend Bridport caravan park. Walking distance to the town centre

A well kept secret. Sharing a little more widely. It’s glorious. Super location. Awesome facilities. Well spaced out RV spots. What’s not to like?

Wonderful view, peaceful and clean amenities. A bit expensive for an unpowered site but amazing location. Well recommended!
