We drove past this spot and had to come back at the end of our trip. Spent two nights and loved it. The park manager was super lovely and checked us in late. The park is also huge! We had amazing views from our rooftop tent and were super close to amenities. Snorkelling on high tide and the foreshore path was super worthwhile riding too. 🚲

Beachfront location makes this caravan park a popular spot, but that is it’s only saving grace. Not only are the facilities very dated, depending on where you are located, it can be a 300 metre walk to nearest block. We are very fit and enjoy a walk, but when you want a shower, or to brush your teeth at night, and it is raining, a 600 metre round trip is annoying and inconvenient. We got back to our site cold and soaking wet. It’s a massive park with over 200 sites with many long term dwellings. There are three separate entrance points - which would have been useful information to include in the check in details for arrivals after hours. Easy walking distance to town.

Very nice to visit, with very clean and safe facillities. Virtually located on several family friendly and safe beaches, but close to pubs, coffee shops, and a supermarket. Naturally during the Christmas holidays, it is quite packed, so advance bookings are advised. I only used a tent on an unpowered site, but managed to secure a spot within 3 days. It was $44.00 p/n, but given the time of year and location, I did not mind the price.

Obviously a favourite for the locals. We found our site to be a main thoroughfare to the toilet block with people weaving through our tables and chairs to access. We were even requested to move our water hose - located on our site - as it was a tripping hazard for people to use as a 'shortcut' - their wods, not mine. Most folk have their sites condoned off by hessian fences, which I thought odd and unattractive for a place of beauty. Smoky fires with modified car exhausts are lit on nightfall so ensure you close up your van! We were site 128 - I was disappointed at $85 per night.

Really nice spot to camp and explore Bridport and surrounding areas, would highly recommend. Fire pits, clean toilets and hot showers included, washing machines, food trucks, shops, beaches, parks it's all here to come and enjoy.

Very disappointed with the management. Arrived plugged in our 6 mth old motorhome no power. After wiggling the cord it would connect but then go out. We found a place where it was working but asked hubby to let the manager know. He came down and from the start he was aggressive and he said it was a problem in the motorhome. We have never had a problem before. We tried our neighbors power point and it worked fine. He offered no solution and what he was suggesting wasn't working. In the end I knew we were not going to get anywhere with him so said just leave us we will try and get it going. So wiggled it around again and found the spot where it worked and tied the flap up so it wasn't touching. Just came into Hobart Showgrounds no problem with power at all. Really poor service from Manager.

Great large caravan park. Nice staff, very welcoming. This park runs down to the foreshore, from the road. Nice track to walk along the foreshore, with lovely little bays, right into town. (Great pubs and bakery, for lunch or dinner) It was lovely listening to the waves crashing in at night time. We have a big rig, (Longreach) we had plenty of room to park up. The park is made up into different sections. We were in zone 4, which only had 4 toilets, no bathrooms. If you wanted to use the bathroom, you would have to walk to zone 5. Beautiful quiet, relaxing park Will definitely recommend this park

Only thing wrong is that anyone from the public can just cruise through the park, so you have to pack everything up and lock it away, not like having the security of a park where only the campers really have access, we also had people coming in and hooking up their own hoses and washing their vehicles right behind us flooding out the campsite, the Managers of the park where excellent and came and asked them to leave, just cheeky locals who didn't want the dirt from their 4wds in their own yard.
