Great university! Amazing value for the price and I liked how it included a religious education. I have many fond memories of lots of classes that I took (in the psychology and business departments). If you’re looking for a school with high moral and ethical standards, then this is the place for you.
On the other hand, BYU might not be for everyone, to be honest. There is a strict honor code that all students must live by to keep a good standing with the university.
While there is always some room for activism to change the university's honor code standards, BYU is a private university and may not be required to make such changes.
If you're looking for a university in Utah Valley that does not hold students to the same moral standard as BYU, then Utah Valley University may be a better place to look for an education.
At the end of the day, I think that this is a great place to study for anyone who is looking for academic rigor, a religious education, and a university that holds a high moral standard.
Oh, and if you like chocolate milk, there's a lot of that. And there are lots of nice mountains that are right behind the school.
