The hotel can not be better situated for the Brighton Centre (literally next door!) and the seafront. From the train station it's literally a straight line of a walk! We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and he explained where everything was and the wifi etc. |Our room was small- but that's not a criticism, as that's what I booked and I quite like a cosy small room. There was no way to control the heat in the room (that I could see) but I loved that we could open the window properly. We like a cold room and background noise so we were happy with our location.|Room was very clean, bathroom also clean and shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash and hand lotion all provided. As well as cotton balls, cotton buds, shower cap etc. The waterfall style shower didn't have the greatest pressure, but they never do! |The room had a lovely coffee machine, great biscuits, complimentary gin, hair dryer, iron, robes and slippers. All you could need!|We could not get the TV to work at all- and it needed an internet connection just to watch any channels. My husband is an IT engineer so it wasn't something we were doing wrong- the wifi that we connected to just didn't have internet! We didn't complain as we were only there for 1 evening. But Room 316 in case staff want to check it :-)|The bed, pillows and duvet were super comfy- I slept right through- something I usually never do in a hotel on the 1st night. |The bar was very relaxing. There was a glitch with the tills but the barman handled the pressure well. We ordered a club sandwich, pork belly bites and chips. These took as age to come out and the waitress seemed stressed so we didn't get a chance to ask for sauces and salt etc. But the food itself was lovely, We finished the evening with 2 excellent negronis.|We would 100% book here again when we are next heading to the Brighton Centre with no qualms whatsover!
