Brighton is hands down one of the best ski resorts in Utah. It’s got that laid-back, locals-first vibe that makes it feel like home every time I go. The snow is always top-notch, and the terrain has something for everyone—from wide, easy groomers to steep tree runs and fun natural features. One of the best parts? Night skiing. Brighton has the best night skiing in Utah, and lapping Milly under the lights just hits different. Plus, the lift ticket prices are way more reasonable compared to some of the bigger resorts. If you’re looking for a resort that’s all about great snow, good vibes, and no ego, Brighton is the place.

Google
It’s a great little resort but it’s not beginner friendly at all. Seems like they pride themselves on being beginner friendly. Maybe they are a bit easier compared to some other resorts around (like Alta, Snowbird, Solitude) but I didn’t find it easy at all. The green slopes are very narrow, some are very steep (sunshine is a good example) and the green slopes via Silver Creek lift are only accessible via terrain parks and steep blues. NOT beginner friendly. And not to mention the slopes are horribly marked. Some signs at a junction only show one slope and not the other. Some signs don’t even mark green slopes. Overall, it’s a neat ski resort if you’re a competent skier.

Google
Great laid back mountain, epic tree runs and epic snow if you time it right. It was somewhat crowded at the lifts, but the trails didn’t feel congested at all. I was lucky enough to go here on a day where there was 20 inches of snow the last 24 hours, and was able to get into an area called “Snake Bowl” right as ski patrol dropped the rope to it. Best run of my life! Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the night skiing, but I love that they have it as it’s something unique that not many other Rocky resorts offer.

Ken Henry

Google
I visited Brighton on a Sunday after they got a fresh 5 inches of snow. The conditions were great. I was riding as a single and everyone on the lift was very friendly. Brighton has so much fun tree skiing! I needed to leave and went up the great Western lift which is far left and I was able to go right all the way to the main lodge through tree run after tree run.

Google
By far the best skiing experience in my life. Great beginner to advance runs, most beautiful views. Best place to ski in Utah and for a medium price as well. The we’re incredibly helpful as well. Hope their prices stay the same and it remains slightly more underground, as I will be going back for the rest of my life when in Utah.

Google
We had the best experience with this ski resort and the staff. Our 3 kids are beginner skiers and spent a lot of time on the magic carpets. The staff was so friendly and kind, going out of their way to be super helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations and we were so grateful! We can't wait to go back!

Google
Brighton Resort is a fabulous and beautiful setting. It's family oriented; and it's perfect for seniors, individuals and couples. The terrains are wide-spacious-unlimited for all levels from bunny hills, intermediate to a higher level skiing-snowboarding experience. We have visited Brighton bazillion times and each time, our visits are perfect. We love skiing/snowboarding at Brighton. The lifts are readily available, never a long wait. The staff are helpful and ready to assist. The rental equipment room is on the 2nd floor and a good size room offers benches where you can sit, put on your gear/equipment. A wide range of equipment to select from, no hassle rentals if you don't have your own. We love the fresh pow. Plenty of parking. There is also a nearby Brighton Store & Cafe to get breakfast, lunch, drinks, snacks to fulfill your needs. They carry a small and limited selection of Brighton t-shirts, hats and alike. When you are at Brighton Resort, it's an amazing and exhilarating experience, this is where you want to be. Skiing-snowboarding is the next best thing to have wings. The snow condition is almost always perfect. It is true the best view comes after the hardest climb. Depending on your level, the highest climb has the prettiest view. But even so if you are a beginner or intermediate skier-snowboarder, beauty is all around you. Powder snow skiing is life, fully lived. A pair of skis or snowboard brings you to the next level, an ultimate transportation to fun-freedom. When you're here, there is no such thing as bad runs. Once you're on top of the mountain, the only way is down and it's always a full blast ! Brighton Resort is our #1 choice when it comes to skiing-snowboarding. We always circle back to this mountain range, it has so much to offer. From the mouth of the Big Cottonwood Canyon (beginning point of the canyon) to reach Brighton Resort is 18 miles. The drive is beautiful along the winding curvy road and up the Storm Mountain. We strongly recommend if you are traveling on business or for leisure or a family vacation, Brighton Resort is a must see and your final stop destination. You will be glad you did and bring home great memories.

Google
Terrible way finding. Why is it so hard for resorts to label their runs? Just put some signs up. At least at every intersection, especially when greens intersect blacks. You'd think that'd be common sense. Otherwise this resort is really big and fun. A small complaint is there are not consistent routes. A lot of times you have to do partial blue to get to a green from a lift.

Yelp
Brighton has officially set the bar for my snowboarding adventures, and let me just say, it's high. Of all the places I've carved through during the winter season, this one stole my heart (and maybe a little bit of my dignity on a few tumbles). The slopes? Absolute perfection. Well-maintained, dreamy to ride, and the kind of runs you reminisce about like an old flame. We rolled in on a Saturday, bracing ourselves for crowds and chaos, but to our delight, it was as if the snow gods decided to bless us with a VIP experience. The place was practically empty, giving us the rare luxury of gliding down runs without dodging a single human obstacle. Parking? A breeze! None of that frustrating "circling for an hour while cursing under your breath" ordeal. We parked close enough to the entrance that getting back to the car didn't feel like a second workout. But the pièce de résistance? These runs. Hands down, the most exhilarating, swoop-worthy, serotonin-boosting rides I've ever experienced. Brighton isn't just a resort; it's a vibe. I'm not saying I dream about these slopes at night...but I totally do, and it's pure, unadulterated bliss every time. Out of all the snowy gems Utah has to offer, Brighton is at the top of my list. Whether you're a seasoned shredder or just looking for a fantastic winter getaway, do yourself a favor and give this spot a go. I'll definitely be back one day, hopefully with a bit more finesse and maybe fewer spills.

Michelle S.

Yelp
If you don't like snowboarders this isn't for you If you don't ski this isn't for you Slopes are fine lots of boarders Pizza is good Limited non skier activities.

Lo M.

Yelp
Brighton has been my go-to ski resort for about a decade now, and I'm proud to call it my homebase. I've always said that if Alta is for skiers only, Brighton should be for snowboarders only, but a girl can only dream. The runs are maintained and groomed nicely and everyone that works there seems to love their job. Plus, their new lift up Crest is super speedy and spacious! The only downsides to this resort are the pricey food options and due to growing popularity and tourism, the parking situation can put you in quite a pickle. I know plenty of people who have gotten turned around from arriving too late and the parking lot being full. You can reserve a spot online for some peace of mind! Besides these things, I absolutely love Brighton and it holds a very special place in my heart - not only in the winter, but year-round!

Jason E.

Yelp
Parking system for season pass holders is a joke. The 2023-24 season was way easier to redeem them. I work a 9-5 in Salt Lake City and can only ride on the weekends. I have only been able to redeem a parking pass 2 days so far this season and we're half way through February. It's like getting punished and forced to pay more on top of my $1,000 Ski pas because I live and work in Salt Lake City contributing to the economy. I know this doesn't bother the wealthy tourists who visit each year and get to capitalize on what everyone in the city has helped build. System is flawed and doesn't watch after the locals who love this resort.

Traci E.

Yelp
Last night was a memorable experience at the Brighton Resort Campfire Cookout. The delicious food and refreshing mountain air created the perfect atmosphere. These dinners are hosted only a few nights a month at Millie's Chalet and the perfect date night. The food is served family-style, so you get a taste of everything on the menu unless you have any specific preferences. We did not leave hungry.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
This is a great resort. The staff here have a great vibe. They are very relaxed and friendly, and our ski instructors (Scott L. for the adults, and Matt for the kids) were very patient, kind, and positive. Even the staff at the equipment rentals were really relaxed and friendly, even when it was busy. It definitely feels like a local spot. The cafeteria can get really crowded, but I've seen people tailgate in the parking lot and bring in food with no problems. They have a decent amount of ski runs with different difficulty levels, but obviously during the holidays it can get busy. I love that the parking is right next to the lodges and lifts. I would definitely come here again.

Elle M.

Yelp
Lots of moose today on my favorite hike in the Wasatch - the 6 mile out and back from Brighton to Sunset Peak. On Sundays, there's a farmers market and bands playing on the mountain side until late afternoon.

LC G.

Yelp
Nice resort. Good powder! The slopes are long and wide, perfect for practicing turns, stops and speeds if you're an intermediate skier. The parking lots are terrible! Enjoy walking on slippery ice!

Rich B.

Yelp
First time to Brighton. Got here at 8am on Wednesday and Thursday and was able to park in the first row both days. Excellent groomed runs. Most of the time not much wait for the lifts as they run pretty smoothly. It didn't seem overly crowded and the runs never seemed too busy or unsafe. The blues and greens were fun with lots of variety. Some moguls. Some in the trees skiing and plenty of fun. Had a private lesson with Lisa and she was top notch. Night skiing was also a blast with plenty of runs to choose from. Food was excellent. All the staff were friendly, helpful and plentiful.

Yelp
Review here is for early season ski/snowboard at Brighton. Overall had a awesome time! As a beginner, I really enjoyed the abundance of green/blue trails, all of which were very approachable, had wide paths, and often intersected so you could take the same lift up, but a mixture of paths down. Environment was very chill and family friendly, so had a really great time! The layout of the place is pretty good, with multiple lifts located on different sides of the Brighton center. I also like that you could take both Crest Express and Majetic and could get over to Snake Creek Express lift, and get to top of the mountain-- which has green and blue trail down for beginners/intermediate ski/snowboarders. The place also has some pretty cool and convenient terrain parks positioned down the center, so there is def something for everyone here! This was pretty cool to watch when we were taking Majestic lift up. Overall thought the organization of this place was great. Staff everywhere were also very friendly and helpful. The only challenge with Brighton is the limited parking, which now requires a parking pass that you may need to buy weeks in advance. It's possible to park on the side of the road (a bit down from the place and walk a long way), city of Brighton, or closer to Utah and take the ski bus in. Being new to the area, we ended up taking the easy way out and scheduled uber both ways. At around $50-60 each way, it's much pricier than city bus, but way cheaper than private ski bus. Pro tip here is to schedule multiple hours in advance since you might not find anything calling an uber on the spot. Overall, awesome time and highly recommend this place for ski/snowboard!

Yelp
Oh boy, I think I found one of my new favorite resorts within a close proximity (1.5 hour flight + 1 hour drive). Considering that Tahoe these days is rammed full of people and traffic in and out is a PITA, it probably makes more sense to come to Utah to snowboard on the weekends instead. Excluding the airfare, the cost is actually cheaper than a weekend in Tahoe. Anyhow, I digress. This resort is awesome because of the different runs and options available. From speedy groomers to powdery tree runs and even a park, the mountain has everything, + the benefit of a lot less people than any of the Tahoe resorts. My friends and I are on the Ikon pass and with it comes the ability to night board. We ended up boarding from 9-5 our first day...exhausting but so worth it as snow was dumping the entire day! The conditions kept getting better and better. This was my first time in Utah snowboarding and I am beyond satisfied. Might have to come here much more often! They also opened up a new lift that is the fastest in Utah and much faster than any of the California lifts. Just amazing!

Yelp
Could not be happier with our choice to ski Brighton while staying in the area. We loved it so much we decided to not try other places, and we added another day. Every employee was so nice. We had ski school reservations and came in frazzled, and late, due to a big storm. Dain could just tell that we were stressed, he calmly came over and brought our day back to the right foot. I'm so thankful for that interaction. The girls loved ski school and wanted a private the next day. With three adults and five kids, it was the perfect setup to do a full day private lesson for the kids to gain skill and have fun. Allowing the adults to go off together. Everyone at ski school was SO helpful and cheery to get us set up exactly how we wanted. Carlie was so great with the kids as an instructor and guide. Highly highly recommend Brighton. Waits were minimal, easy to get around, not at all pretentious, plenty of options for all levels and Mollys was perfect for a mid day beer and shot :)

Jann M.

Yelp
This is not a review for skiing. It's for their Summer Outdoor Market. It's got two more Sundays to be open and then we may have snow but I hope not. A few stands with great handmade items. We found our favorite spot the record Vinyl Store. The owner goes to Europe often so we both got albums that were never offered in the US. We also took home Tiramusu and some delicious salsa and chips. I would highly recommend both of these places too. You can ride the tram up and then hike down. The temperature was perfect and it's a quick day get away which is about 30 minutes from Salt Lake City.

Annie N.

Yelp
Brighton was rock solid, but way less pow than Snowbird. Brighton was day 2 for me, so the bar was set high. As such, it ended up being very icy in comparison which caused me to catch an edge here and there. The food court was cool, and lots of kids here which was a mental note I made for my own kids in the future. I'll probably be back because it's on the IKON pass, but I'll also add that their green run that's at the peak is honest to god a blue run with a couple black run-features here and there. Overall, UT has a severe mislabeling problem between blue and green and black!!! Beware

Justine M.

Yelp
Okay, Brighton was never in my top five of Utah ski resorts, but with their new lift (so fast, so slick) they are moving up the ranks. And Molly Green is such a fun spot to get a drink while you warm up by the fire too. Order the bourbon maple apple cider and add a bowl of chili and you've got the perfect recipe to make it snow! I will say this, I've definitely had the best luck with skiing in the snow at Brighton of all the resorts so far. Brighton seems to have the snow dance recipe down pat!

Kevin T.

Yelp
Brighton had night boarding available for us. We drove all the way from SoCal and were able to find a parking spot. We pulled up after 3pm, which they allow anyone to look for parking. The terrain is mainly blues and a few blacks and few park runs. They do have decent size kickers and nice park features. There is a new reservation parking system now implemented, so it is hard to ski on weekends in the morning.

Maria M.

Yelp
Ohhh I love Brighton greens so much. These were perfect for our fourth and sixth times skiing. They are also open for night skiing now. Keep in mind, if you take the bus, the evening intervals get a lot longer with the last bus leaving at 8:22 with the one prior leaving before 6. Parking is $20 if you don't have a Brighton pass. We didn't buy any food here but the lodge is very roomy downstairs for resting and eating snacks if you brought them. Ski lessons here are retry reasonable as well at $350 for five two hour lessons. This seems to be the lowest in the city. They even have black diamond lessons.

Stephen S.

Yelp
I feel Brighton is a very good value for the price and it is a great place for kids to learn to ski. Normally my rating would be a 10 but I had the absolute worst experience getting there on Saturday March 11th. It took us four hours to get there from Sandy. On a normal day it would be a 40 minute drive from our home. We left our house at 7 AM which is two hours before the resort opens. It took us four hours to step foot on the resort. The worst part is the parking lot was full so we had to park down the street and walk for one hour. With two little kids that's ridiculous. I know Brighton cannot expand its parking lot, but there are things you could do like sell each parking stall, so somebody knows whether or not they can park a car before they even attempt to go up the canyon. Luckily, the wait time for the chairlift was very short, and we were able to get a lot of runs in which made up for the time wasted. The best part was Brighton had employees making sure each chairlift was completely full with guests, which made the wait times very short. I was really happy to see that. In the past it's every person for themselves, and most chair lifts are never completely full and the lines are long.

Alexis R.

Yelp
We didn't come to ski or do any winter sports, but did enjoy their disc golf, Sunday flea market, and the bbq they had with a live cover band!

Zealand G.

Yelp
Pros: Great place to shred the pow! Great Park and terrain! "The key is to find your backcountry swell" Cons: Expensive passes if you don't want to night ski, Crowded parking and long lines for lifts.

Alan J.

Yelp
Absolute favourite most down to earth and chill ski resort in Utah. Cannot begin to explain the vibe and atmosphere starting at 6am in the parking lot to all day out on the slopes. Cooking breakfast and tailgaiting to all the glades in a powder day, I love the days we get to use here on the Ikon pass.

Kevin S.

Yelp
Much bigger mountain than Solitude though lifts are not labeled and are spread out in an odd way. Nicely maintained. Liked the Snakeside restaurant a lot ( burgers and catching rays)

Ben R.

Yelp
I have bought a season pass to Brighton Ski Resort for a decade now. They started parking reservation this year which has been a debacle. Poorly conceived, communicated, and administered. I haven't been able to park on the weekend this year. They have sold out, I'm done giving Brighton my business.

Mark Z.

Yelp
Corporate has ruined good ski mountains :/ it's such a shame. To over sell tickets and require a reservation to park... what a waste of a good mountain. Shame on you ikon. You and vail have ruined the mountains for locals

Scott W.

Yelp
With reserved parking already booked for the season, I can't even ski, I waited for 3 buses this morning, over 2 hrs to get to the ski resort. This new parking sucks, go to PC

Sebastian V.

Yelp
I had brighton resort at the top of my list for this year. I choose them over Ikon. Now you can't take a family up there unless you wanna take a bus or reserve a parking spot 3 weeks in advance.

Gurn B.

Yelp
If I could give it less, I would. Just a word of warning if you're going to Brighton to ski turn on your map on your phone and if traffic is in the red more than 2 miles before the resort... then they don't have any place to park your car cause they don't have near enough parking and they don't obviously care enough about their customers to build more. This happened to me on a Wednesday at 10 o'clock in the morning. Sat in traffic for two hours and then was told when I got there to come back in an hour and a half and when maybe some people would leave.. This is the worst worst resort in the Salt Lake area anyway and the only reason why they have the customers they do is because they're cheap on their prices and offer all day skiing. Remember you get what you pay for and you don't pay for enough parking for their customers at Brighton.

Havilah Vashti U.

Yelp
My fiancé and I celebrated our birthday here this March and it was beyond epic. I love that Brighton has a variety of trails so there's always somewhere new to explore. We loveddd the grilled cheese croissants and made a tradition to get it every morning. We can't wait to come back!

Kari T.

Yelp
Came here for the first time so exploring was really fun. I liked all the runs I went on and everything was super open and didn't seem like any area was crowded. Easy to get around and the views were amazing! This resort is also open late so it was nice to board past 4pm. They day I went the base snow wasn't even slushy.

Linda L.

Yelp
Me and my boys did a little shredding over the holidays and had an awesome time! Mountain and trails were nicely groomed, except for a few rocky/bare areas. We were lucky enough to get some fresh pow, so that def helped on the 2nd day! Lift lines were heavy at times but reasonable - especially during the holidays. Some 'Rona tips and more to make your visit more enjoyable. TICKETS: -Reserve your day tix, rentals and lesson(s) online in advance. www.brightonresort.com -IKON pass peeps - make your Rez with the Ikon Rez system. www.ikonpass.com -Season Pass holders, Mountain Collective and GoCard peeps you're in! -Super Pass - present voucher at walk-up tix windows. MASK-UP! -Masks on at all times in lift lines/chairlifts and indoor/dining facilities. For the outdoor general ski area - masks required unless there is 6' social distancing. PARKING: -It's FREE! -Highly recommend getting there early...before 8am or after 1pm. Weekends, holidays and good days in general - parking fills up quickly! -Don't wanna drive? Take the ski bus! Route 972 serves Big Cottonwood Canyon. -BOOM! Super cool that you can indulge in night time shredding/skiing! Bottom line...Brighton Ski Resort is legit! Enjoy and be happy outside!

Kyle I.

Yelp
Can't get a parking reservation and the bus transport lines are extremely long. Trying to get the ski area is terrible. The brand new lift starts and stops constantly.

CJ W.

Yelp
Great mountain for snowboarding and for beginners! If you like shorter runs then go for it.

Angelo A.

Yelp
I've skied/snowboarded at Brighton since the late 90s when I lived in Salt Lake City and have LOVED it since my first visit there. Every year, a bunch of guys I know get together for a ski/snowboard trip to Japan. Unfortunately, Japan wasn't a option this year (thank you COVID) so we headed to Utah instead and we made our first stop Brighton . . . of course. On day one, we were surprised by the shear number of skiers/boarders making the trek on a Sunday. Incredibly, there was absolutely NO parking whatsoever! I have never experienced that kind of crowds on a Sunday . . . EVER!!! Weird, especially for Utah. Surprisingly, the mountain didn't seem crowded in the least and I throughly enjoyed every minute spent on the mountain.I remember teaching my two oldest children to ski here and I was able to add more positive memories to the files. The entire week had NO natural snowfall, but it didn't affect the groomed runs whatsoever. Sadly, staying on the mountain is almost impossible since the options are very limited. However, transport to the hill from Salt Lake is very easy. If you're not comfortable driving, the SkiBus is a fantastic alternative from the Fort Union area or at the bottom of Big Cottonwood ($10/RT). I look forward to skiing here again (and again). This is ,by far, my favorite ski hill in Utah.

Jacob B.

Yelp
Brighton is a nice ski resort with tons of runs. It has beautiful views and the people are so friendly. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants to try snowboarding or skiing.

Swathi Nandan B.

Yelp
Spent a week with family. Wonderful staff at snow school, guest services. great experience overall.

Ruben S.

Yelp
Had the worst experience at Brighton today... this eye gouging resort took the cake for the most I've ever paid for parking at a resort... EVER! $125 for the day lol... I will never come back to this shitthole. Snowbird will be the only place I snowboard at from now on when visiting Utah. I highly recommend you do the same to avoid dumb greedy people like the owner/owners of Brighton.

Monica G.

Yelp
This is the my first resort that offers night riding, and with three lifts! You can go to Solitude next door pretty easily too.

Abby G.

Yelp
Writing on behalf of a distasteful experience that I had with a staff member in the rental department over this past weekend. I was excitedly looking forward to getting back out on the slopes after taking quite a few years off. Along with the excitement came some nervousness. When I arrived I was shuffled to a rental employee that was very tall, thin and had about chin length hair. From what I could tell, he was a newer staff member and was seemingly frustrated with having to help yet another customer. He had made numerous comments under his breath about how the other team members were not helping him and he was "so exhausted". Making the few efforts he put towards my paid service, seemed to be a bother. I got fitted for boots, and I will admit that I am a plus sized woman but have never had an issue with rental equipment in the past. The staff member and myself were struggling to get one of the buckles completely fastened and he made a comment directly to me regarding the size of my calves. I quote "Well your calves are huge. I can't help you." Now, hurtful comments such as this are nothing new and are something that I unfortunately get more often than you think. This of course added to the anxiety that I was already experiencing and made me extremely uncomfortable. Another staff member was able to come over and help me put an extra clamp on the buckle itself to ensure the boot fit properly and comfortably. Commenting that the previously employee was newer and didn't know about this tool. Being new isn't an excuse for ignorance and a green light to speak negatively about someone's body. It is hard for me to grasp that we live in a world where in 2024 I still have to be worried about how I am perceived based off of looks alone and how someone is going to speak about my body. I wish I had that much time to be worried about the body someone else lives in. I spend the first HOUR of my visit dealing with this boot issue as well as taking some minutes to myself to deal with the hurtful comment said. What a waste of both my time and money. It is honestly too bad because once I got outside, I ended up having a great time. I highly suggest that some training in body inclusivity and human decency is rolled out to your new hires and all staff at your resort. I would sure hate to hear of other people in the plus size community having to miss out on an incredible experience all because staff are unequip to deal with bodies of different sizes and shapes. Words are hurtful. They carry weight and impact those that hear them. I hope the next time I have the confidence to hit the slopes again, I do not have to deal with the fatphobic, hurtful words such as those spoken by your staff.

Yelp
Brighton needs to reevaluate any and all policies when it comes to lessons and lift tickets. We made the trip to Utah to visit family for Christmas and planned a ski day at Brighton. My wife and two kids signed up for lessons for the morning of 12/29/22. I also purchased lift tickets for the four of us for that day. I didn't anticipate how hard it would be to get up the mountain that morning. What should have been a 30-minute trip up the mountain took nearly three hours. About a mile from the resort, Brighton closed their parking lot and made everyone turn around. This meant missing our lessons that morning. No problem, we'll just switch to the afternoon. NO!!! No refunds and no rescheduling. By the time we made it back down the mountain and to the park and ride lot, the bus lines were horribly long and we wouldn't make it up there anyways. This also meant that my lift tickets were also going to waste because they were only good for that day, not to mention my rental equipment. So frustrating!!! Brighton - If you have guests reserving lessons and purchasing lift tickets for a particular day, you should have ample parking for them. At least allow for an exchange or rescheduling. Fellow skiers, please read this before booking anything with Brighton.

Yelp
The major factor affecting this review is TRAFFIC: I drove up from Vegas on a Friday night to ride some fresh powder after a big storm. We stayed in SLC and planned on heading up to the mountain early. We left our hotel around 7:30am and it took TWO HOURS to get to Brighton. The traffic was insanity and I 100% wouldn't do it again. There were SO many merges before getting to Big Cottonwood Canyon Road - and people were NOT about sharing the road. I'd definitely choose to ride the UTA bus - or leave the hotel by 6:45am and just eat breakfast at the mountain while we wait for the lifts to open. Once we FINALLY got to the mountain, the lines were a bit bananas. Snowbird was closed this day because LCC wasn't open, so I'm sure it affected the lines. I didn't love that not every lift had a Singles line option, seems inefficient. In terms of the actual skiing/terrain, the snow quality was nice (it was a warm storm that blew over, but I know that's not the warm). There are a lot of really nice tree runs where it's not super dense and we had a blast in those sections. There is a lot of beginner/intermediate terrain here but I was really surprised that the runs were not super crowded! Even with the lines, the actual runs were not congested. I would definitely come back - but if it's a weekend day, definitely make a MUCH earlier departure or take public transport/carpool.

Yelp
This was so fun, I mainly went on the parks there and there is a wide variety of jumps and other stuff for all different levels. Snow was icy which made falling hurt, but that ain't their fault so yuhhhhh

Yelp
Yes! I love Brighton. It does have a bit of a snowboard scene but it is great for kids. Kids group lessons are only $60. This includes the lift ticket. They do an excellent job. I have skied for many years and thought I could just teach my kids but I put them in lessons and it made a huge difference. Also I normally buy an early season pass for $380. This gets you a Monday through Friday pass with some blackout dates. Then your kids are free till their 10. They don't have super steep terrain but have various sections of steep. Also there is rarely lift lines during the week which is a real plus. I would definitely call this more of a locals resort.

Yelp
I love Brighton, personally it's always been my favorite since I moved to Utah over 20 years ago. What has changed is the increase in people driving up the canyon. We left from Utah County and it took 2 hours to get to the resort, less than 10 years ago you could drive up and it would take less than an hour. It's sad to see how crazy busy it gets now with the increase in people moving to Utah. We'll trying going back during the weekday in hopes we won't have to wait through that again. Once you get there, the staff is directing you where to park quickly to get the crowds parked. If you are not up there parking between 8-9:30 you might be out of luck until people start to leave on the weekends. The snow was nice and soft and the trails were well groomed, perfect sunny day. It was 15 degrees but felt a lot warmer once you get going. I do like how they have you get on the lift with only the group/s you arrived with. It might take longer for people to get up the mountain but it's nice to just chill on the lift up without crowding. Great snow, beautiful views, and fun runs. You cannot get much better than that.

Yelp
Super nice staff. Great views and lots of variety of slopes. But you better get there early!! If you come after they open and parking lot is already full you are pretty much SOL. Very beautiful though. Also renting equipment is three times the price here as other places. I recommend renting your skis or snowboard before coming.

Yelp
So glad I did my research before booking this trip. I booked this trip first week of Jan but had reserved it in Dec. As a surprise Valentines gift. If you don't book these early chances you won't get in. When I tried to cancel I couldn't! But thank God for that because I'm so glad & thankful I came. If you book on Travelocity it lets you change the dates (it's what I did) but not get full refund. The resort was everything a couple wants. It was perfect! Sooooo.... Romantic! :)))) The ski slopes awesome! I got to ski which was another awesome experience. It's been so long but it's like riding a bike. You will never forget! We had such an awesome time. The spa a must after a long cold day! We did the couples massage!!! (I had pre-booked it already) IT WAS SOOOO... good!!! I left feeling like jelly!!! The hot tubs, the rooms were perfect. The staff amazing. It has been one of my best trips in years! Recommend this resort to everyone. It's only 4 hours from Moab, if you want to take the drive to the National park. So worth going. If I could give this resort 20 stars I would.
