What a fabulous boutique.!!! Great quality clothes and name brands! Sales associate, I think her name was Angela. Red head from New York was amazing. Super attentive. So helpful and friendly. Great prices! Great gift items! Overall fabulous experience!!!

Jenn, the store manager, was SUPER helpful when I browsed the shop. I had never been to Brightside before and she made me feel so welcomed. She even picked out clothes that she thought would be good for me to try on based on what I was wearing! Definitely will be returning :)

Such a fun store! I've found birthday gifts for almost everyone--from newborns to my friends (25-30 yrs old). Great trinkets and super comfy clothes. The girls who work there are always so friendly and helpful! Legit knowledgeable about their stuff and honest. My go-to store for gifts and fun stuff for my apartment :)

I was driving over to meet a friend earlier in the week and it was hot as hell. I was sweating in my air conditioned car. Yuk. I knew I needed to switch clothing but I didn't have time to go back to my house for a different top. At that moment I happened to be driving by the store so decided to pop in to get a t-shirt. I found a great top immediately in my size made of the softest cotton. I love it. I'll be back. Thank you.

Love this store. I work around the corner so I shop here a lot. However, the last time I was there, I tried to pay in cash for my purchase and the girl looked at me like I had 5 heads then proceeded to tell me unfortunately I can not pay in cash unless I have exact change. It’s just upsetting that local places are not accepting cash anymore and treating people like it’s a bad thing. 👎

Love the stuff in the store but cheap material. I brought something back 20 minutes after buying it (after trying it on again at home) and the zipper broke. I toke it back immediately and they wouldn't refund me and were not very nice about it.

The best for cute clothes! I personally love their bodysuits and cropped tanks. A lot of one size fits all, as long as you're a medium or smaller these are fire. The prices are slightly pricey at times for a basic top but it's a boutique so that pricing is pretty normal, and nothing over $120 typically. Love and frequent this place.

Way cute boutique that sells clothes and accessories. A bit pricey but their sales are worth a second look. Customer service on my visit was great. Kaylie was awesome personable. I love the cheeky saying on all the mugs bags etc. me n the bff went to check them out after me viewing their instagram page. Both of us purchased these really cute summer outfits. Will definitely be back to check them out again.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was mailed a gift from here by my Mother in Law (who lives in FL) which did not fit me and they refused to give me a store credit because I was one week outside of their 21 day return policy. And to top it off Amy, the Manager, would not come out from the back to speak with me only left her helpless assistant Sarah, alone to do her dirty work. As a Manager of a retail business myself, I am very much aware of how these kinds of shortsighted attitudes can hurt business. A fate I'm sure Brightside will come to see. I'm sorry that I have bought so many other gifts for friends here over the years and will certainly never return or send recommendations here. Save your money for business who care about their customers.

Love love love Brightside! It's such an eclectic little store. They have two locations with different inventories which I think is awesome! I can always count on finding something I love. I've not been tattooed by the shop, but I've heard great things from those who have.

I cannot say enough good things about Brightside!! I'm always impressed with the quality of the clothes as well as the style. It's the first place I go to when I need an outfit. The customer service is AMAZING! These girls really know what they're doing. Whether you need an outfit for the day or a cute dress to go out in, they've got the trendiest options that look great on all shapes and sizes. Also, their sales are very frequent!

I really love this boutique and was super excited that they opened a store in hampden. That being said, when I went in to shop I didn't feel welcome. I felt as though I was "checked out" by the woman behind the counter and then looked at as though I didn't belong. I don't mind shopping on the online store, but am way too intimidated to go back in person. I was super saddened by this, especially since the brand promotes women empowerment. How is it empowering to female shoppers to feel like they aren't welcome. Love the clothes and style for sure.

First things first- this place is awesome. Reasonably priced (not H&M reasonable, but think Urban or Free People) unique, and stylish clothing and accessories in an adorable little storefront in Fed Hill. I visited recently after lurking their Instagram forever, and I'm pretty gosh darn happy with my haul. So why not five stars? My situation might be unique, but I thought it was worth sharing. I visited here on a mission to find something stylish, high quality, and dressy but not too formal to wear to a wedding. I also bought a couple other things including a cut-to-your-length maxi dress which is amazing for a shorter gal like me and if I could wear it all day, every day I would. The dress I bought for the wedding was a really cute dress that wasn't *exactly* my style, but it was totally appropriate. Fast forward a couple of days and their website launches, and I see an AWESOME dress on their that was not in the store. It was wedding appropriate and way closer to the look I normally go for. I bought it, and their shipping was super fast (serious points for this- I was worried because it was a holiday weekend). I was going to exchange the other dress right away, but waited at my boyfriend's suggestion to make sure the new one fit correctly--plus I live near DC so it's a trek to get up to Baltimore twice in one week. By then, however, I had travel plans to take care of and we were leaving town. I went to exchange it when I got back (I REALLY wanted another maxi dress). Deeee-nied. First off-- it's totally my fault for not checking the receipt (I was not warned of this policy at checkout, btw) but at the same time most places have a 20-30 day policy. This shop's is 14 days, I came back on day 15 :-(. I tried really hard to be cool about it (part of it was my bad after all) and I figured their return policy was so short because they seem to change their inventory fairly often, but then I noticed the exact same dress I was trying to exchange was still very much for sale in the exact same spot I picked it from. WTH. I felt like an exception could have easily been made, especially since I didn't need the dress anymore because I bought another one from them and not someplace else. TL;DR: I'm out $70 on something I'm most likely never going to wear. This would definitely deter me from continuing business with any other store, but I will be back to Brightside for sure. I mean, I still need another cut to my length maxi dress in my life.

BRIGHTSIDE BOUTIQUE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! Seriously ladies, if you know anything about fashion this is your spot. AND if you don't know anything about fashion, this is ALSO your spot- take a cruise down the Brightside and lend and ear to Christie's keen sense of style and advice for your wardrobe. My jaw dropped at all of the amazing on trend pieces, and then hit the ground when I saw the prices. Insanely affordable. THEN- when you hit the back of the store, you are greeted by Kike, who is a talented young man slinging tattoos to the people of Federal Hill. Such a welcomed, great addition to an area that can really use the dazzling skills of both of these lovely individuals. As a stylist and online boutique operator myself, I will always throw the recommendation of Brightside to my customers as well. This spot is gonna blow up, so hurry up and get down there before the other girl in a size small snags the last of the cute dresses that are sure to fly out the door as fast as they arrived. BEST BOUTIQUE IN MARYLAND! HANDS DOWN!

Love this boutique! It's one of the only places in federal hill to buy clothing and it's always super on trend with styles. Also, if they don't have something or a particular size at this location, they're always really accommodating about looking at the other locations and/or ordering online so you can get what you want. It felt very personalized and I'm really happy with how they made me feel when trying on clothes!

Brightside is my favorite store! I love having a store this cute close to all the bars. I constantly am going into the shop before going out and changing my outfit entirely. The staff is so cute and nice. I cannot recommend this spot enough!

This boutique is well stocked with very neat stuff (ladies clothing & accessories). Items range from unique (yet elegant) jewelry, to cozy scarves and socks, to superb shades, to t-shirts, to lacey goodies, to knits, to skinnies, to woolen hats to... Awesome boutique in Fed Hill that has great clothes at great prices. They do a great job at keeping their customers coming back for more with trunk shows, social media discounts and ladies nights! I wandered in one night after dinner and told my boyfriend I would "only be 5 minutes". He's a sucker for believing me! When I came in, the girl working was super friendly and quickly asked if I wanted her to hang some of the items I had picked up as I kept browsing. As I was wandering around the store, she suggested other items to put outfits together which I greatly appreciated because at 27 years old I still need help dressing myself. To make things even better, she offered me a free shot! Apparently Van Gogh vodka had done a tasting earlier in the evening and they had a lot of leftovers. Yes, please! I left with a new dress, some free shots, a little buzz (yes, I'm a light weight) and a Van Gogh cocktail recipe booklet. Totally unique experience but a perfect end to a Tuesday night! Even though my experiences have been very pleasant, I have experienced one sales associate who really could care less even if you walked in waving hundred dollar bills in her face. She's bored, and isn't interested in helping or speaking to you. DO NOT LET HER ATTITUDE STAIN YOUR IMPRESSION OF THE PLACE! I swear she's the only one working there who acts like that!

Best women's clothing boutique in Baltimore! It can be pricey but it is worth it for the good quality clothes. Their customer service is excellent! They always have the nicest employees working there and they are always so helpful.

Obsessed with the owner and the store!! It seems every time I go in this store, the variety and style of clothes gets better and better. I know that if I have an occasion where I need a quick outfit, I can go into Brightside and those girls dress me from head to toe!!! I always have a blast talking to the girls!

Great customer service. I ordered a dress online and had just recently moved and accidentally put the wrong address in. So obviously I never received my package. I called the store and they directed me to USPS to check the status.. a few days later they called me letting me know that they had received the rejected package and asked for my new address. I offered to come pick up since they had already sent it out once and I know there are fees with shipping. But she insisted on it being totally fine for them to reship it and then wished me a Happy Holiday. Made my stress over receiving this before New Years diminish. Thanks for making sure I get this. :)

Straight up one of the most memorable experiences in my life. Got my first tattoo here by Jesse K. Dude is super cool and so are Kike and Matt. Super chill atmosphere and the guys really make you feel welcome. Super talented, too. Couldn't be happier with the work Jesse K laid down on my arm. Thanks for everything, guys!

Visited Baltimore over the weekend and stopped by this little boutique. I was ignored upon entry and was treated like I was annoying the lady working when I asked if there was a different size in an item of interest. The place wasn't even busy so I didn't understand her attitude. Customer service is the most important thing in service. I won't return

What a trifecta of fabulousness! Clothes, shoes & tattoo's!! Brightside is one of the coolest shops to hit Baltimore in a long, long time! Christy, the owner has an eye for whats on trend way before it crosses the city limits.....very NY, L.A......+ Kike, turns out masterful tattoos that are all pieces of art! Love this shop + they just opened a second location on Broadway in Fells Point! Doubly blessed Charm City!!! Customer service, price points & visual merchandise. ...all 5 STARS!

I stumbled on this boutique when I was when I was out desperately looking for a dress for a work cocktail attire affair that was held in the next hour. This was my last stop and I was in tears because I had nothing to wear and had been to 5 prior stops. Not only did the saleswoman help me find something to wear that fit me (I am tiny with a larger upper body), I had forgot my credit card, had a limited amount of cash and she helped me find something I could afford. I was desperate and this woman took the time to go out of her way to take care of me. The best customer service I have EVER experienced. I will definitely return asap and tell all of my friends about this place. On another note..the clothes are absolutely adorable and different. I was so happy with my purchase and received many compliments. 5 stars all the way.

I recently got a tattoo done by Kike at Brightside. He is the owner in case you were wondering. Out of the rest of the tattoos i have; i have never had an artist that genuinely cared so much for art and what works best for his clients. He is extremely talented and is worth every dollar. I had sent him a couple pictures of references of what i wanted and he made my tattoo come to life in it's own unique way. Thank you Kike i have recommended everyone to you, thank you for being a wonderful artist and business owner. I felt comfortable and welcomed. I will definitely be returning for his work. Also, the clothes for bright side are awesome. Love this shop!

This is a great tattoo shop! Jesse hooked me up with a great tattoo. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Jesse took the time to create a custom piece of art that wrapped all the way around my arm, and did a great job applying it. I would definitely go back. Thanks, Jesse!

Very carefully chosen selection of items with an edge- even shoes & accessories. Feels reminiscent of a shop in Manhattan. Owner, Christie, is super nice & excited about her products. It is evident by how she presents herself that she "shops at her store" & has girls like herself in mind while stocking the place.. Attention to detail shows in the boutique setup & the appearance of the tattoo shop in back. Baltimore really needs more places like this. Great place to browse or pick up a gift for a friend

I loved the artist but the pricing was horrible. I paid a hundred dollars for a tattoo with no color the size of a tennis ball. Second time I when was even more steep I won't be back but the work is good if your willing to go broke over it.

Absolutely the best boutique in Baltimore. I went to this boutique 2 times in the past 3 weeks and I'm going back today. The clothes are AMAZING. So affordable and so cute. I bought a dress for a cocktail party and such an awesome Ravens shirt. YEAH BRIGHTSIDE.

I have followed the place's page for along time. I liked some of the stuff they posted on facebook so I went in with my 10 months old boy last week. I was with a stroller, the door was hard to open and manage but that's every place these days. I got in and it was empty. No costumers, no employees. I saw some stuff I liked, when finally someone came in she didn't say anything. I mentioned I have followed the place online but haven't been there until now to start a conversation, but she didn't care to talk back. I liked some boots, so I took them and tried them on, again with 0% interest by the woman working there. I saw they were very affordable since they were running a sale at the moment, so I thought - how cool - I can buy my boots for this winter right now!..when I looked at her she was totally checked out again. I think she didn't like the fact that I was moving a stroller through the small space. Well - not much to do about that, since I can's park my son outside obviously. After a few more minutes of me looking around and waiting for some sort of contact with planet Earth from this woman there, I got pissed and took off. On my way out she shouted something thanking me for coming, sounded relieved that I was leaving with my 'uncool' stroller and baby. I would have probably been a regular costumer if I have gotten any service while I was there. I am crazy for clothes and shoes(like most women) I have worked in Fed Hill for years and I know that rent there is expensive, and so is property. So I hope they think that this attitude is worth their clients because I'm not coming back. Also - no way to contact the place through facebook - messages, comments and anything else but shares are disabled.
