"Do you fancy tootling around London on a classic double-decker bus whilst sipping tea and eating pastries? Of course you do. BB Bakery adds wheels and a French twist to the tradition of afternoon tea. A uniformed driver zips past London's iconic sights as you enjoy your tea. ...the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Hyde Park and more. Book early and get a seat on the top deck for the best view and don't forget to raise a cup to the Queen as you roll past Buckingham Palace. It's only proper."

2nd visit: 29/5/25: Unfortunately a disappointing desert on a play of Ferraro Roche with a chocolate with hazelnut slice with non diary cream on the top with unfortunately made the desert below average. 1st visit: 24/5/25 Tucked away just a short stroll from The Strand, Brigit’s Bakery is a whimsical burst of pink that’s hard to miss. The décor blends iconic London themes with a distinctly floral, French-inspired flair—think faux flower garlands, themed crockery, and plenty of photo-worthy corners. The spacious seating area is inviting, with tables adorned in quirky touches and bright pink accents. While the visual theme nods to London, the cakes lean heavily into French pâtisserie style. I tried the “Summer in France” — a raspberry dome delicately crowned with fresh berries and set on a dense pastry base. It was vibrant, rich, and perfectly suited to a warm day. Cakes and pastries are priced around £5 to £6 for takeaway, though it’s worth noting that prices aren’t clearly displayed, which could be improved. All in all, Brigit’s Bakery offers a playful and picturesque escape with sweet treats that deliver more than just visual appeal.

Came upon this place by accident, I had seen the buses about but Bakery was new to me. Beautifully laid tables and fun decor. Staff were friendly and also professional. The cakes were very good indeed. Salva had the lemon cake and I had the raspberry and mousse cake, just wow. It was very hot outside so we ordered cold drinks although the table was laid with vintage tea settings. Recommend the bakery if you are anywhere nearby. Loved it.

A fantastic afternoon tea this afternoon. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to ensure our experience was first class. The rea rooms were decorated beautifully, and the food was out of this world. Our thanks to our children for this really thoughtful Christmas gift, which was enjoyed on a warm sunny day. Thank you to all the staff. We really enjoyed our visit.

Had a fantastic afternoon on the London Bus with the traditional afternoon tea with prosecco on 28th April. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious, we did not need the bag for leftovers as there weren't any! There was music playing and commentary on the sights. You also got to keep the lovely coffee cups as a souvenir. It was a fabulous experience to celebrate a special birthday. We'll definitely do another tour, possibly a themed one.

Google
The hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about London, they were awesome enough as well to give shout outs to those celebrating things on the bus. They were accommodating as well but allowing us to swap seats and enjoy the views from the upper deck. They played very tasteful music and historical facts about the places we drove past. If you don’t care to walk and visit London a historical sights, this is a good way to view the city.

This was the second time I've done this tour--but I was in London with a group of friends that had never been. We had a limited time in London so I suggested this tour because it combines a 90 minute driving tour (on a VINTAGE 1960 double-decker bus) with a traditional high tea all while seeing the sights of London! Our staff Azuana (not sure if I spelled that right), Rose and Alex were awesome. They were charming, funny and, best of all, they can pour a glass of champagne while the bus is moving without spilling a drop! (we paid extra for the champagne, order in advance) If you're looking for something fun to do I highly recommend it!

Google
Great job and very attentive! A unique experience. To prep the bus can get warm so dress accordingly. The savory and sweet was lovely. The staff Daisy and Aziz were amazing!! And all you can drink!! No bathroom so also prepare . You get to keep the cups your team is served in. More than enough food. Thank you!

Google
This place is such a charming spot in London. They set the tables with beautiful romantic teacup. Nice variety of coffees, cakes and you can have a traditional British tea with tea biscuits. Staff was very friendly, the place is clean, restroom is also clean. Definitely recommended and we will visit again.

Yelp
We took the Brigit's Bakery Peppa Pig Bus Tour with our son, who is five. It was a great way to ride on a nostalgic double-decker bus and see some the major sites of London in passing. The food for afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and a great way for young ones to experince afternoon tea. The staff were very attentive and entertaining on the bus, and they kept the kid's attention the whole time. When the guides tell you to use the bathroom before the tour at Sommerset House, do it. The tour is over an hour and can be a bit bumpy. Great experience.

Yelp
Excellent cute bakery to have a full or partial tea plus scone. Service is kind and friendly. The food is good, and many diners partake of the afternoon tea. It's difficult to find a reasonably priced tea in central London, and Brigit's fits the bill. Cute place and good food!!

Yelp
You don't have to be female to enjoy Brigit's, but it is the perfect spot to enjoy a girlie afternoon tea. The menu consists of breakfast, baked goods, and of course afternoon tea. Peruse the front counter to see all the delicious sweets. I went with a scone and English Breakfast tea. It was the best tea and scone I have ever had. I would love to try Brigit's for a full afternoon tea.

Yelp
My family and I rode the bus while in Paris in September 2023. We thought it would be fun to kill two birds with one stone by taking a double decker bus tour while having afternoon tea. This company has a lot of different buses so I'm not sure this is the typical experience. When we saw the bus, you could tell it was old and once you heard the engine start, then you knew it for sure. It sounded like it was going to break down at any moment. It was hot inside the bus because there was no A/C and the ride was ruff as all get up. Two of us ended up getting motion sickness because of how bumpy and uncomfortable it was. The route was also modified because of the horrendous traffic, which was typical of London, just very annoying. The food was just OK, nothing special, but it couldn't overcome the ride of that bus. I would never do that again, waste of money.

Yelp
While I was in London, of course I had to get afternoon tea! On a mid-day weekday I was able to get in without a reservation. The vibe of Brigit's Bakery is so cute - I love the floral decor and just the overall girly aesthetic. The service was very friendly as well. The afternoon tea experience was a 10/10. The set menu was perfect and it was enough that I left feeling full and very satisfied. If I'm ever in London again, I will certainly return here. I highly recommend Brigit's Bakery!

Yelp
Great afternoon tea. Service was spot on and the food quality was outstanding. No rush and great atmosphere in very convenient location. I think this might be the best tea I've had in london

Yelp
Such a unique, fun tea experience! Highly recommend. The environment was fun and energetic while we took in the sights throughout the city. Our server was wonderful, they ran out of a gluten free item and complimented us with champagne to accommodate, much appreciated!

Yelp
My sister is coeliac so we were specifically looking for somewhere that catered for her and saw there were scones. Upon arrival we learnt they were on available when ordered in advance but she had other lovely options and opted for the very decadent chocolate hazelnut log. I enjoyed a typical cream tea and the scone is one of the best I have had - nicely warmed and served with a generous amount of clotted cream and strawberry jam. We each selected a different tea and were able to share thanks to the large teapots we each had. This was a celebration of our 50th birthdays and we are so glad to enjoy such a lovely offering in a beautiful space.

Yelp
Every morsel at this gorgeous tea room was a delight to the senses! A fresh unique menu with excellent service, this ranks as my fave while in London.

Yelp
Very fun and tasty place for High tea!! Scones were delicious and the tea was wonderful!

Yelp
Lovely place that was nice enough to squeeze us in for afternoon tea when something went wrong with our reservation elsewhere. Servers were very nice and the standard afternoon tea order was delicious, size was perfect to order 2 for the 4 of us. It wasn't the fanciest place or the roomiest but for being accommodated in the spot I have zero complaints.

Yelp
Loved every aspect of my tea experience at this adorable Covent Garden charmer. Friendly, attentive hosts. Chic but not stuffy atmo. Every single food item was mouthwateringly delicious, which is a rare feat in my experience. You usually have items you love and items that are less impressive. But I was happily surprised to find myself groaning (mostly internally) over every last bite. Easily recommend Brigit's.

Yelp
Cute tea room with a nice selection of extra items to order. Affordable & delicious! Convenient location, too - close to Covent Garden & Trafalgar Square.

Yelp
My daughter and I did the afternoon tea on Oct 21 of this year. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! To start off there were strict instructions that if we were not on time we'd be left. The bus pulled out 20 minutes after scheduled so there's that. The bakery items were awful (wild looking, too sweet, and not traditional), the tea from a tea bag (unbelievable), the tiniest scone of which we were only given one and then rudely told we could not have another all amounted to a disaster of an afternoon tea. The sandwiches were the only items we liked as well as the souvenir cup. The bus was loud and rambunctious, children with feet on the table and constant whining. We could not hear 50% of the tour because of all the chatter and chaos. So all this to warn you, this is an unsatisfactory way of doing tea. You'd be better off at a tea house paying half the price. If you want a bus tour find one without the awful food and service.

Yelp
Funny experience to visit the most popular spots of London while enjoying a nice afternoon tea. Great old school music and good service. The food is ok and the portions are enough. If you are looking for an original afternoon tea, this is the best spot. Different boarding sites in London.

Yelp
A friend and I did the Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. Overall was a very cool experience! The bus was very well decorated and fun and the food was great! The staff were fabulous and very welcoming. The bus was decently old but had a cute aesthetic. Other comments mentioned a bumpy ride, which yes it is bumpy, but that is just how the roads are constructed here, not a bus issue. The tour took us around the main sights to see here in London, and it explained each sights meaning and purpose. The backstories weren't in much detail or very long, but that is expected since you're passing it on a bus! If you want to just see highlights of London and not want to spend too long listening to a tour guide ramble on, this is the perfect tour!

Yelp
I think Brigits Bakery is overrated. Took the bus last week we had VIP seats. Biggest complaint was we couldn't hear commentary. Couple beside us said same thing, why they don't install more speakers is beyond me. The sandwiches were VERY SMALL, I asked for another but said only 2 per person. All staff were very pleasant but I think tour is overrated and overpriced. The VIP seats were $260 Cdn for two.

Yelp
I recently traveled to London and I found this awesome Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London. You get to see some famous sites while having afternoon tea! What!!! They have two starting points, based on the tour time of your selection. Our tour bus departed from Victoria Coach Station. Since these tasty treats come from actual bakery, they looked really good! The seat was a bit small, the booth seat is a bit tight for two grown adults... The amount of food was great too. The top tier held all sorts of sweet desserts, and the bottom tier held sandwiches. Scones come separately towards the end. The beverage of your choice is provided in adorable cup with a lid, so it was safe to have a hot beverage on a moving bus. We had a fun tour, although I was more focused on the food than what was outside... LOL. And even if I was focused on outside, we didn't really get to have a good view of the sites, as we were driving by kind of quickly. It was more of a special "experience" than a bus tour. One of the staff did highlight the most expensive hotel in London, and of course, the second most expensive hotel in London, which was kind of funny. This was such a fun experience. The food was much, much better than I expected, the tour was interesting, and we had great time! The staff was great, funny, and took care of us. For anyone who couldn't finish the food, they had cute boxes you can pack it with.We totally enjoyed it and yes, I do recommend! If you are going to London in a near future, and looking for an interesting bus tour that comes with tasty delights, maybe this is the one for you!

Yelp
Made reservations though open table. They did not have our reservation but were able to accommodate us anyway. Was really good! I would go there again. We even bought tea to bring back home.

Yelp
We've been in London 7 nights and still hadn't arranged to have a proper tea but we didn't want to use our last day sitting in some stodgy tea room. It was kismet that we found Brigit's Tea and Bus Tour! The retro bus had all the charm you could ask for and the service was unmatched. Maria especially made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Funny as it sounds we really feels like we made a friend. She was so doting and attentive. On top of the wonderful sightseeing experience the food and drinks were all we'd hoped for. So glad we found Brigit's Bakery!

Yelp
First time visiting London so of course I had to get some afternoon tea! This place has such a cute entrance and decor. Definitely very aesthetically pleasing. I was a little shocked by the prices but I'm new to London, so things were just pricey in general but the food / tea definitely made it worth it! The waitress was so kind to walk us through the menu and allowed us to split the tier so that we didn't have to purchase a big amount. We loved everything on the tier! Pastries were great and everything just paired so well with the tea. I would def recommend a friend to come!

Yelp
First afternoon tea ever and it's in London :') I dragged my guy friend with me to this pink and flamboyant restaurant to drink afternoon tea with me. I'm such a good friend. Arriving at the restaurant, I thought it would be one of those restaurants where the decor is the main attraction, not the food. Thank you for Brigit proving me wrong. I was surprised by how delicious the food was! The desserts weren't too sweet, the sandwiches were tasty, and I loved their teas! The food was delicious, the price was affordable, and thank you Brigit for the best first afternoon tea ever!

Yelp
Mum and I had afternoon tea on Brigit's London Bus which travels from the 1932 Art Deco, Grade II listed building which is Victoria Coach Station. It's perfect if you've already 'done' afternoon tea at a couple of the nicer hotels in London and want something different. The sandwiches and cakes are absolutely lovely, but be careful not to fill up too much! There are small warm scones that come out later! The tea is served in cute and colourful B-Bus travel mugs (which we got to keep) and the prosecco in plastic champagne flutes. They even gave us little pink B-Boxes for any leftovers to take home. The bus drives around the central London sights and there is a recorded commentary as you pass the different places (although they need a speaker at the front of the bus as it was hard to hear with the other travelers chatting). Note that this is NOT a hop-on hop-off bus. You are seated for around 90 mins to and from Victoria Coach Station.

Yelp
My family booked the tour months in advance for $285 USD, top deck on a Wednesday afternoon. Our flight was canceled the night before our trip, and we called and emailed Brigits immediately. Their phone system did not allow for a voicemail (it said something about please call back as we are busy helping others). I sent them 4 emails and called constantly when I could, telling them we were trying to get on another flight. Brigits didn't address any of the concerns and struggles, or offer any empathy by the time they decided to respond to my emails at 4:30pm. There was only one available time slot on a Friday, with a worse table (bottom deck), and to change we had to pay AN ADDITIONAL $134 to move the booking. Lets be totally clear, $419 for a family of four (including two children) for a tea and 80 minute bus tour. If Brigits had responded or answered their phones within a reasonable time period we might have been able to still visit that same afternoon we finally arrived in London. Brigits refuses to refund our money, and their customer service was terrible. I cannot say it enough, stay away from this company. On the otherhand I cannot recommend the Big Bus evening tour (a different company) enough. Their drivers and workers were outstanding and their tickets were $35 each, which can be booked same day. With Brigist they know they sell out, so they can refuse refunds since travels have already paid them. Its a complete sham.

Yelp
I've wanted to do this afternoon tea bus tour for a year!! I wasn't able to because it was fully booked when I went during the holidays, so I had to wait until I visited the UK again to plan accordingly. This time I made sure to book the tickets in advance! Pricing was around £60 per person!! It was honestly a struggle for us to get to the meeting point. We are supposed to meet at the Victoria Coach Station, but ended up stopping at Victoria Station! It was different, but I didn't know that. We called the lady who told us that it's walking distance away. We were already late and I was stressing out since I really wanted to do this and didn't want them to leave without us ... it took us 10 mins to get to the meeting point and they were so nice to wait for us. I think we were only five minutes late. We got to the correct gate number and when we got through the doors, we saw the two busses and didn't know which one we were supposed to get on. One of the bus drivers got upset towards us saying that we should've waited at the gate for someone to get us instead of calling someone to help us out.. That kind of ruined my mood... Of course we got everything sorted out and sat down. The tour was overall very nice. A few things were said about each monument, but it was mostly for the experience and enjoying ourselves on the bus while having the afternooon tea. The host was terrific. He had great customer service and checked up on us here and there. I recommend trying this out if you're ever in London!

Yelp
It is 3:10pm and most people were here at 2:45pm. meaning we are waiting half an hour outside and they are not ready. i am happy weather today is good. i also notice there is no AC onboard. so avoid this scam.

Yelp
So, it's been about 6 months since our visit to the U.K. and I have been wanting to post this review for some time... I was too worked up when the "incident" initially happened, but now I can with a clear mind... So as far as the bakery itself. Food, ambiance, and service were all mediocre to sub par... however my real gripe is with what went down and how it was handled by the wait staff... warning, this will be a lengthy post... After some time on trying to decide where to have our first ever high tea in the U.K. my wife and I landed on Brigit's Bakery. Upon entering we were less than thrilled with the layout and setting, did not have that English tea room feel we were hoping for. However what happened next really set our UK trip off on the wrong foot... While my wife stepped away for a moment to use the toilet, a middle eastern woman came up to my table (which was at least 50'-100' from the entrance) and approached me from behind. She began yelling at me in Arabic (or some other middle eastern language) and had a pamphlet that she continued to push into my face and throw on the table. This happens for several minutes, she started on my left and worked her way behind be and onto my right. All the while she continued to yell and throw this pamphlet into my face and on the table. After 5ish minutes passed (which is a lifetime when your being berated by a stranger) she finally left. Upon my wife returning from the toilet she immediately asked where her phone was, apparently it was left on the table, and in the commotion of the events that just happened, was stolen by the woman. When I approached the wait staff and asked if they saw what happened there answer was "yes, sorry about that." I asked why the didn't interject and have her removed. They said that sometimes these people get aggressive so it's best to leave them alone. Then I told them that she stole my phone and their response was, "yeah, that's not the first time this has happened." I was completely beside myself... if you saw what was happening and knew what she was after why would you not check on me after she left or stop her at the door!!! The staff was completely Un-helpful, did not do a single thing to help the situation, and was more worried about having me pay the bill (for a meal that we didn't get to eat or enjoy), than do anything to help me. I will never go back to Brigit's and fankly it has left a bad taste in my mouth over London as a whole... We loved the country side and tried to not let it ruin the remainder of our trip.

Yelp
Such a perfect thing to do while in London! Cannot recommend it more. It's the perfect enough of sightseeing while enjoying tea and snacks. So much better than a hoop on hoop off bus tour. Avoids the huge crowds gathered around the tourist attractions while giving great views of them. love it

Yelp
This place is like a what every little girl dreams of when she plays high tea! The cakes are so pretty and my mouth was watering just looking at the cake display. This place is always busy when I walk by. I was just getting a take away cake and coffee as their chocolate cupcake was on Timeout's best of London List. The wait to be just served or even acknowledge by staff too long. I understand it is more of a dine in venue but a number of staff walked by me without acknowledging my presences. I agree with Timeout, one of the best cupcakes I've tried. Right amount of chocolate and not overly sweet which I find a lot of cupcakes are these days. Was also an ice surprise with bits of fudges throughout. Coffee was average for London standard (not great). They also do a afternoon tea bus and ferry along the Thames which look like a great thing to do with friends.

Yelp
I've been watching Bake Off: creme de la creme and craving a patisserie style cake. BB had good reviews and I can see why! Coffee and any cake for £8.80, not bad for central London. I went for the waiter's recommendation as it was hard to tell what everything was from their names. It was really tasty, lovely buttery thin pastry and delicious raspberry and pistachio filling. The coffee wasn't great, I'd probably order tea next time. The service is really relaxed for drop ins, which I enjoyed, we were left to our own devices. We went at around 2pm and got a table easily, but when we left at 3pm it was full so you might have a wait. Well worth a visit, especially if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden!

Yelp
Traveling as a vegan isn't always fun. Sometimes, I feel like we miss out on part of the experience because we can't eat what the locals eat. Food is such a big part of experiencing the culture, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel sad sometimes that we have to miss out on things. So, when an establishment like B-Bakery offers an authentic experience like a traditional British cream tea, I'm so, so grateful. This absolutely darling tea shop has it all- fantastic service, unbelievably delicious pastries, and a full-on vegan menu. Our incredible tower included everything from savory finger sandwiches and wraps all the way through perfect mini cupcakes and puddings. Our server greeted us with fresh juice before helping us choose a tea to enjoy. Everything about the experience was remarkable, however, towards the very end was my favorite part... The sandwiches and cake and small bites looked incredibly petite, so as we worked our way up the tower I was not expecting to be so incredibly full! After we licked the decadent frosting of the vanilla cupcake from our fingertips we basked in the afterglow, belly's fully out and completely blissed from our experience... and that's when it happened. Our perfect server came by and asked if we'd like a break before our scones. Say what?! I remember looking at him in shock... THERE'S MORE?! We were full to the brim, and yet, there was more?! He laughed and whisked away our now empty tower, giving us space to contemplate the meaning of life before serving the grand finale. I thought I had scones before, but I will never look at a scone the same way after indulging in B-Bakery's vegan scone. After staring at it for a moment, willing myself to get going, I picked it up and pulled it apart. Steam rose in willowy threads from the center of this fluffy but dense pastry. The vegan spread and jam served alongside it waited at the ready, about to be slathered and melted into it's piping hot center. This scone was proof that there is a good, and he wants us to be happy. Though we were absolutely stuffed, we somehow found room in our tummy's for every last crumb of it. I'm so grateful to establishments like B-Bakery, who make room on their menu's and in their restaurants for vegans to enjoy the same things everyone else gets to. Thank you B-Bakery. I'll take my memory of my first real British cream tea with me to my grave.

Yelp
The BB Bakery afternoon tea bus tour leaves from London's South Bank and passes several iconic landmarks, including the Royal Albert Hall, Harrods, Buckingham Palace and, of course, Big Ben! Almost as exciting as the view is the fact that they offer a gluten-free afternoon tea option - and it's glorious. Scones, sandwiches, meringues and chocolate tarts - all gluten-free, and served beautifully on plates suction-cupped to the table, to avoid spillages along the route! The food was incredible, as was the tea - and the view wasn't half bad either, although I couldn't say I was paying as much attention as London deserves due to the food and pleasant company! I had a great time on the BB Bakery Tour, and highly recommend it - a great day out.

Yelp
They graciously were able to find me a space in between reservations for a quick afternoon tea. I had an Earl Grey blend for a tea and a fluffy, fresh scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam. It was lovely. I was seated in the ground section which had no windows and one of the other customers were coughing up a storm, but it did not detract from now tasty everything was and how I would be happy to return.

Yelp
The afternoon tea was beyond delicious. Every sip of tea, every bite of pastry hit the right note. There wasn't a single bite I didn't enjoy. My only complaint is that our waiter was new and gave us a hard time over small adjustments to our order. And it was pricey, but the place was also unbelievably cute.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Absolutely amazing. Staff was so kind, attentive and accommodating. One of us needed the vegan menu and one wanted the regular and they did it no problem. The vegan food was absolutely delicious, I would recommend it to anyone. I had the Four Red Fruits tea, it was lovely. The atmosphere is adorable and bright. Such a great price for the experience, I would return in a heartbeat!

Yelp
Came here for afternoon tea. Because of our schedule, we went early at 11am. This was perfect since it was not busy. Close to covent gardens. The bakery was bright with lots of sunlight. I found that for the price, this had the best balance of ambience and food. The sandwiches were delicious, smoked salmon and the chicken sandwich were my favourite. You can choose coffee too if you don't want tea with your afternoon tea, this was perfect for my husband who came with me since he doesn't drink tea. The staff was friendly and you are able to refresh your drink as often as you want. My husband had two lattes freshly made when he ordered them. The scones, clotted cream and jam were served at the end. The staff also does not rush you (but when you reserve they give you a two hour max time) before serving the scones they asked if we were ready for it, or if we wanted some time before they brought it out. I would go back for afternoon tea, or even just to have lunch and order off their menu.

Yelp
We had tea on the bus late last November. We reserved our table ahead of time and ordered champagne. Tea was beautiful and delicious. The two ladies serving the bus were very nice and tried to point out some locations. The driver also made announcements about landmarks, etc. But it was hard to see through the condensation and the champagne was flat. They made it very festive and it was still a tour through London. There was plenty of food served, enough for takeaway boxes afterwards. And the tea cup tumbler is a souvenir for you to keep.

Yelp
I liked BB Bakery. It was very cute and feminine. I went solo on a weekday afternoon with my Kindle. There was a bit of confusion when I initially entered. The only vacant tables needed to be cleaned and I had a tough time making eye contact with the servers to be able to sit. My tea was fine and my lemon cake as not. It was extremely dry and perhaps overly sweet, and too cold. I utterly despise cold cake. It was a nice little afternoon break. The decor and vibe were great, but other than that, not particularly remarkable. The service was slow and what I ordered was only okay. I'd definitely return, if only to experience the ambiance and decor.

Yelp
Wonderful scones and jam (though would've preferred homemade jam) but they sat us in the basement seating which was definitely less desirable. We brought out toddler and would've much rather have preferred the open tables that were upstairs and avail though the staff said no. I wouldn't go back- it's London. There are scones everywhere- hold out for the full experience if they sat you downstairs.

Yelp
We were in the area wanting to sit down with a cake and a cup of tea, BB Bakery delivered on exactly that. We ordered a mille-feuille, a lemon meringue tart and the royal (super chocolaty cake) and whilst all three were good, the lemon meringue was a above the rest. The decor is very girly and quaint, loved it. The upstairs has more tables but downstairs has lovely nooks and crannies. Perfect for a catch up with girlfriends!

Yelp
A lovely little patisserie with tasty treats and bubbly! The only negative is it can be hard to find a seat if you want to sit in enjoy a glass of champagne with your dessert. My son especially enjoyed the macarons.

Yelp
Had tea and cake here. The cake was yummy and there were many choices. I really like the ambience as well. The top part is nicer as it has windows but even the downstairs is really nice and cozy. The staff is friendly and the prices are decent.

Yelp
For as many times that I visited London, I never had a proper afternoon tea. On my most recent visit at the end of June, I visited BB Bakery with family and we all really enjoyed the teas and the tasty sandwiches and desserts. I made a reservation weeks in advanced and we got one of the best tables in the house by the front window. I already look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
i recently visited this restaurant on my first trip to london and was not impressed. we went in without a reservation so we weren't even sure we would be seated, however, the man behind the counter quickly said something about going downstairs and handed us menus. we went down but weren't really sure what for (to wait for a table or actually be served or what). the "downstairs dinning room" is essentially a basement with a few tables. it was totally empty and all of the lights were turned off (super weird). after a couple minutes a server came down and informed us that we were being served down there and we decided we would just leave. about a minute later she came back and asked us if we wanted to sit upstairs instead and we said yes (as if we hadn't just told her why we wanted to leave? again, it was just super weird). once upstairs again it was just awkward. the food was decent (we ordered a double order of the traditional afternoon tea), the tea was good, and the service was pretty slow and confusing. it just wasn't worth the price and the hassle.

Yelp
I made sure I googled where to go for a good afternoon tea before I came to London. BB bakery did not let me down! I am so jealous of people here who can enjoy afternoon tea everyday...this makes me want to move to London.....

Yelp
It's great. Don't let any of the bad reviews tell you otherwise. Try and make reservations. But I'm so picky and it's so great!!

Yelp
If you're veggie then the breakfast is uber poor - actually, pretty non existent unless you want just toast. The service was actually really friendly but on a Sunday morning I just wanted to point at an order rather than ask for them to "accommodate" me.
