Brigit’s Afternoon Tea Bus was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish, and it ended up being a real highlight for both the adults and the kids in our group. The combination of sightseeing, beautifully presented food, and a relaxed, fun atmosphere made it feel special without ever feeling stuffy or overly formal.
The food was genuinely exceptional. The pastries were the standout: they looked gorgeous on the tiered stand and, more importantly, tasted even better. They were not overly sweet at all – just perfectly balanced, with rich flavours and light textures that felt indulgent but never sickly. Each dessert felt thoughtfully made, the kind of thing you actually want to finish rather than just photograph.
The savoury side held its own too. The sandwiches were fresh, well filled, and nicely seasoned, with classic flavours that appealed to both adults and younger palates. Portions were just right – enough variety to feel like a proper high tea without becoming overwhelming. It really felt like the food was treated as a priority, not an afterthought to the bus gimmick.
What made the whole experience really special was how much fun it was with teens and kids. Being on a vintage bus rolling past London’s landmarks gave everything a sense of novelty and adventure, and the children loved watching the city go by while picking out their favourite treats from the stand. The atmosphere on board was light-hearted and friendly, so everyone could relax, chat, laugh, and enjoy the ride together.
Overall, Brigit’s high tea on the bus was the perfect mix of quality food and a playful setting. Between the exceptional pastries, tasty savoury sandwiches, and the excitement of sharing it all with teens and kids on a moving double-decker, it felt like a memorable experience we’d happily recommend and repeat.
