Probably my toddler's favorite stop! We loved this place. It was cute and relaxing after 15 days rushing around the country. We got coffee and treats and started winding down for our last couple days in the country. Sept 15, 2024.

Our Community Group had a brilliant afternoon at Brigit’s Garden, which was organised through Laura who was very helpful. Our guide Declan was kind and knowledgeable, we learnt and saw a lot even though it was a cold wet day. The service and food were also top class. Looking forward to our next visit.

Brigit’s Garden is an amazing community resource for locals and tourists alike. In addition to frequent visits with friends and family throughout the year, my botanical art class holds an annual Christmas lunch in the café. There is always a very warm welcome, absolutely delicious food, prepared by their excellent chef. The garden itself is a wonderful place to walk at any time of year. Although it is at its most spectacular in spring and summer, I find it a very special place for mindful walking during the autumn and winter. Altogether it is a very special place and we are blessed to have it in our midst.

Yesterday our Botanical Art group celebrated Christmas together over a delicious lunch in Brigit’s Garden. Caroline, Jenny and all the team look after us so well, we always return! Highly recommend BG, the gardens, the mystical connections with our past, and, of course, the food and the welcome.

It was a peaceful moment. The people were very kind, and the food was tasty. It's objectively a good spot and I highly recommend it.

Bridget’s Garden and Café is a beautiful, peaceful place to visit, with 11 acres of varied and interesting gardens to explore. The café is lovely, the facilities are good, and parking is decent. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely return. Just two things to keep in mind: when I visited on a weekday, there were several school groups enjoying the gardens, which did mean a fair amount of noise throughout. Also, at peak lunchtime, the café struggled a bit with the volume of customers. The food looked and smelled fantastic, but the waiting time in the queue was long and things appeared quite disorganised. The hardworking staff were doing their best, but a little more behind-the-scenes organisation would make a big difference. Entry is €11 and well worth it overall. I look forward to visiting again!

Brigit’s Garden feels absolutely magical from the moment you arrive. It’s a wonderful place to wander, enjoy a relaxed lunch or coffee, and soak up the peaceful beauty of the gardens. There’s a real sense of warmth and calm throughout. The events are truly splendid, thoughtful, down to earth, and full of heart. Add to that a lovely shop to browse and plenty of easy parking, and it all comes together as a really special place that nourishes the soul.
