We stayed here in mid January 2026, my wife and I on our trip around Rajastan from London. Brij Laxman was one of the absolute stand-out highlights of our trip. A truly stunning location, and an exquisitely decorated and huge room, with fascinating relaxing activities to do. Plus truly delicious and fresh locally sourced meals and legendary spots around the property for sundowners. The staff were absolutely amazing - really the best we experienced during our trip. From a VIP welcome through to such a special departure. Mr Sarthak the manager was so helpful, knowledgeable and informative - and hosted a truly memorable and fun G&T evening for sunset atop the tower; Mr Jai and his team looked after us so consummately and hospitably at every mealtime - with the chef and team serving up such fantastic tailored food. We felt truly spoiled. And a huge shout out to the charming, attentive and so knowledgeable Ms Pooja who accompanied me and guided on a wonderful trip to the nearby fort; and animated activities superbly with so much infectious enthusiasm, charm, discretion and balance and good judgement. This was a welcome respite of calm and beauty. The care and attention of the staff was incredible. We were especially well taken care of by Jai, Sarthak, and Pooja . We went for a cycle around the area. We had sundowners on top of an amazing old structure that was the ladies quarters of this formal hunting lodge for the royalty of raipur. . We went and picked vegetables from the garden and made a beautiful lunch of beetroot patties and chicken tikka and green vegetables and a millet brown sugar dessert . We did liquor tasting . And we did stargazing. And a hike to the fort for another beautiful high tea sunset view. My husband and I had a lovely massage too . I wished it had been the warm season and we would have give for a dip in the beautiful pool. There was also a warm pool at our suite. All the decor in the rooms was so gorgeous . I can’t encourage a visit to this place enough

This venue is truly exceptional. It’s a combination of luxury hotel, wildlife sanctuary and amazing restaurant. During the day there are dozens of experiences to choose from - cookery classes, pottery, spice-mixing and guided walks to name a few.|What really sets it apart, however, are the wonderfully welcoming staff. it was a pure, authentic Rajasthan experience. The hospitality was genuinely warm—everyone made us feel welcomed and looked after from start to finish. The sunset from the jharokha was absolutely outstanding—one of those moments you just pause and take in. The food was super yummy and authentically local, with great flavours and quality in every meal. Overall, a beautiful stay and I’d highly recommend it.

Absolutely exceptional. From its location next to a lovely pond, through the secluded villas and the attention to every little detail inside the villas. The villa is huge, with a small pool outside our villa and less than 10 steps to the pond. This is one of the rare occasions when I find it difficult to convey the experience in words.

One of the most unique hotel experiences I have ever had, the hospitality is amazing and there are lots of activities ago so which makes the whole stay very engaging, I was here to celebrate my birthday and the team left no stone unturned to make sure we have a great time, the dinner setup was beautiful. Special mention to Pooja and Vikram singh ji, they were fantastic.
