Brilhante

Amazing food. We went there on a Monday at 20h, the restaurant had people but was not full (yet). The crew took care of us very well - they understood we would like to have more privacy and that we don’t require to have the crew members always coming to check on us. These are important details that not everyone understands/does. The food was amazing (as expected). Each one of us had a different starter that we shared, all were good but the ravioli got my heart. For main dish we had the beef - the meat was good quality and the sauce is super tasty. At the end we got the pistachio desert (I don’t recall the name, apologies). I felt the flavors were properly balanced and the dessert was very fresh - just make sure you have room for it because it’s a bit heavy (maybe more suitable for sharing). As a complementary, they offered us some chocolates and bonbons. I loved them all! Thank you Brilhante for the amazing experience P.S. - having available power banks for guest usage is a great gesture. If I could I would give one more star for it.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening. It was our 'fancy meal' for our trip and it did not disappoint. From the moment we entered until we left the staff were so pleasant and attentive. The food was outstanding, and one of the best steaks we've ever eaten. I even cleaned the plate with the bread. The souffle for dessert again was delicious and my husband enjoyed his dessert too. The decor of the restaurant really adds to the experience. A special mention for Reuben who looked after us during our meal, he was very charismatic, knowledgeable and attentive. If we visit Lisbon again, we will be sure to visit! Thank you :)

Place is very cool and well done design. We ordered the Bife brilhante which was sublime. But we had the bad idea to order the lavagante for an Extra $26 €, to our surprise it was like a 2 inch piece. Ridiculous. I’ve attached a photo. We thought it was a joke. People are nice but not something that leaves a lasting impression.

Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant - I accidentally stumbled upon Brilhante when I was on my way to a different restaurant. I’m so happy I ended up here instead! The food was exceptional, the ambiance was amazing and the service was 10/10 . I got the foie gras for an appetizer and the house steak for my main. Both dishes were delicious!!

This was by far our favourite meal in Lisbon and one of my fave meals of all time! The service was absolutely impeccable, the sommelier was knowledgeable and talked us through a number of different options and overall everything was so attentive. The tartare was one of the best I’ve had, and the steak was incredible. The sauce was one of the highlights of my trip and I think I will spend a long time trying to figure out how to make it !!! Defo on the prices side but all round 5 star experience and would recommend to absolutely anyone looking for a special meal in Lisbon

Unbelievably delicious carpaccio. Mushroom ravioli was terrific and so was the steak. Atmosphere and service both top notch.

It’s just okay. I am mainly leaving this review to say that half of my meal didn’t come and I was still required to pay for the full meal and was not discounted. The lobster roll was behold delicious, mostly bread. DO NOT ORDER THE LETTUCE HEARTS. It’s just lettuce with honey mustard.

Highly recommend! Brilhante Steak was amazing and a nice different spin compared to US steaks! Recommend sitting at the counter so you watch the chefs!
