I’ve had a wonderful experience working with Brimmer for my vehicle paperwork and title processing needs. The process can often feel overwhelming, but they make it easy and stress-free. I especially want to recognize Claudia — she is exceptional at what she does. Claudia is incredibly helpful, patient, and detail-oriented. She explains everything clearly and makes sure all the paperwork is done correctly and on time. Walked in, no wait, but you pay for the convenience. The woman that helped us was very knowledgeable and nice. It was an extra $120ish to register my vehicle, so going forward I will be going to the DMV and waiting for 2 hours. This place is fast, though, so if you have the $$ it’s worth it!

The place was one of the only spots like it that didn’t smell like smoke, give sketch vibes, or have poor customer service. I got through the line within minutes and was helped by a lady who knew what she was doing. Only downside and reason for a 4 stars was that it’s expensive! I paid $90 just to assign a license plate to my vehicle. Not for the transfer of title or anything else. It was a $45 service charge. Pretty crazy if you ask me.

If you can go somewhere else, do it. I was recently there to transfer tags and titles for a car that I purchased for $500. It had rust all over the body, a hole in the floor and a bad transmission. The lady behind the counter asked why I was buying it for so cheap so I told her all those reasons but regardless, they charged me over $300 because they looked the car value up by the VIN number and said it was worth over $5,000 so that's what they charged the taxes on even though I told them about all the work that was needed. But instead of charging taxes on the $500 that I paid for it, she charge taxes on the $5,000 of its worth according to the VIN even though that's nowhere near what I paid for the actual car because it needed all the work and they were aware. So again, go somewhere else if you can as they will rob you!

Charles is the greatest! Super friendly and took no more than 3 minutes to get my licence in hand! As efficient as you could ever run a business!

Claudia was the sweetest, and was SO helpful, going above and beyond to help me out! 100% would recommend my experience here to anyone.

Horrible customer service. The lady cut me off and was rude for absolutely no reason when I called to ask a simple question. Need to watch your mouth when speaking to people and learn to be professional. Brimmer you need to do better.

I went there today to register my motorcycle, and I had a great experience. This was my first time registering anything and Melissa was so sweet and helpful. Another worker, I didn’t catch her name, even offered me a piece of gum. I was also in and out in like 15-20 minutes. I really enjoyed my experience at this location. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Not happy that I went there on Saturday February 19th to find they are closed for a BS holiday like President's day and have nothing on their web site. You want to be off on Monday, fine , but working class people don't get BS holidays off. Fourty five minute drive is not how I want to spend my day off.

Obviously, "these types of places" are never enjoyable to go to. That's partially because the state makes it a nightmare to do anything and also because the people who work at "dmvs" or "private dmvs" (more accurate) are usually not the happiest. That being said, it wasn't a complete nightmare. Relatively fast service. Didn't have license plates, but directed us where to go. All in all - I would go back if I needed to.

Whether you're a dealer or just a customer in need of notary services forget the rest because Brimmers is the best! For dealers that means real time processing of titlework. Why use a messenger to just send documents to Penndot than wait 6 weeks while it sits in someone's in bin up there? Brimmers will process the majority of transactions themselves in real time. Drop off and come back a few hours later to actual registration cards. For other transactions; weight changes, mileage discrepancy, etc they will messenger up to Penndot for you. Their fees are very reasonable too. For customers buying/selling cars themselves, address changes, registering a car, etc they also got you covered in real time. They have a few bilingual clerks and are very knowledgeable in all aspects of title work. On the negative Brimmers can get very busy. Be prepared with all your documents and proof of insurance as not to cause further delays. Saturdays tend to be the worst. Traffic as of lately on Harrisburg Pike with all the new shopping center construction is a hot mess and nearly impossible to turn left when exiting. In addition to the services Brimmers provides there's also a Penndot photo center right next door. It's a smaller center and only for photos (you must already have your camera card) but it's usually not crowded and very convenient. Be sure to check their website for hours for each service before your visit. Keep in mind Brimmers notary and the Brimmers Photo Center may not always have the same hours, as one is part of the DMV.

I just love this place! Marilyn my cashier was super helpful and responsive. This place is awesome compared to the DMV. I highly recommend it.

I had the great misfortune of being waited on by Cathy. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. She was rude and self entitled. No desire to ever come back. She answered a personal call while I was here, and in Spanish, told the person I was a bitch. Honey, I'm bilingual. Bad move. In the future, I'll go elsewhere. I have used the Brimmer's on Roherstown Road, and was delighted with the care I received from the clerk, Alicia. I will go to that location again.

Came here from Reading for renewal since the DMV here is closed Monday's. Quick in and out (5 minutes total) and the people were very nice. I will be going here every 4 years for renewals.
