Brindos, Lac & Château

A fantastic property, we really enjoyed our two night stay. We visited with our 1.5 year-old and she also felt very welcome! The grounds of the hotel are just breathtaking. The room was very well appointed with a nice lake view, sparkling clean with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast was exceptional and the restaurant was very happy to attend to our various toddler-related needs. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Look forward to coming back!

Great experience. We took a lodge on the water and nothing to worry wrt to mosquitoes. Staff is really nice, helpful. Service is great Good place for a romantic escape

Awesome experience! Food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, service was impeccable and the stay in the floating cabin was a unique stay I’d highly recommend.

The site is marvellous and so charming, we actually got married there 10 years ago (under the old management) and it was simply perfect and the food was amazing (Michelin starred). We occasionally come back to have dinner, but since they reopened with a new management, the chef is trying too hard and the food is not worth the price. Ingredients in this part of the world are so tasty, I ordered foie gras and fish but both tastes were lost in a mixture of overcomplicated flavours... we were also disappointed with the amuse-bouche and dessert. I am sorry to say this has ruined the whole experience for us. This time we also stayed at the hotel for our anniversary and I got woken up at 8:30am by the gardeners mowing the lawn right under the bedrooms... a small detail that can upset some guests...

Poor room with absolutely no view except an untidy hedge 1 armchair , where does the other person sit? Room was the furthest from reception it could be and we could smell the chlorine from the Spa area All the staff were very kind and polite with a sense of humour

Lovely hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Staff were lovely but not always efficient, had to wait a while for luggage to be delivered to room and wrong sharing Board arrived, but quickly replaced. Spa treatments were very good, but unbeknown to us at booking, most of the facilities were unavailable, staff not very welcoming. Our dog was accepted with friendly smiles and approaches from all staff and we appreciated the room allocation close to the stairs. Restaurant staff acknowledge our special anniversary, which was very much appreciated.

Recently spent two nights and could not have had a more wonderful experience. From the comfortable and luxurious simplicity of our floating lodge, to the deliciously crafted meals and varied dining options, this was a true delight for myself and my two young children. The concierge was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay, and the kindness of all the property team members was refreshing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a moment to breathe in a beautiful setting with the perfect paring of simplicity and luxury.
