"At Brisas for lunch I shared mezze and chose an eight-ounce Pacific or Gulf “local” fish from the Latin fish market, custom prepared to my liking." - AFAR

You can’t beat the views from Brisas Restaurant! Over the course of two trips, I dined there for each meal of the day. We love it here! Mornings are breathtaking for sunrise on the beach with the calm water. Some of our favorite dishes were the avocado toast with poached eggs and scallops on the lunch menu.

Google
Highly recommended if you’re vacationing in Mayakoba. The place has good water views, it’s spacious and has its own swimming pool too. It’s perfect to hang around and unwind for an entire day.

Felipe provided great service, we had a wonderful time at brunch. It was our honeymoon trip and he made it special by preparing a special dessert, starting us with champagne and a delicious cocoa martini. The service was immaculate as always from all the staff, we can’t wait to return. The view of the ocean from this restaurant is breathtaking.

Dmitri and the team provided excellent service. The food here and in the sister restaurant next door (Gaia) are of the highest quality in Fairmont and Mayakoba. The view and atmosphere are unbeatable.

Food is a bit hit or miss. Some dishes are fantastic (beef kabobs), some are so so (eggplant dip flavor was mediocre and cauliflower dish is a bit overcooked even though the flavor was excellent). Pita chips are too hard here. Service is fantastic. My little one was super tired and fell asleep. I asked for the dishes to come out faster and they literally got to the table in 5-10 minutes. And offered towel and pashmina to keep her warm when she took a snooze at the restaurant. During some nights, it can get very breezy here. Maybe best during lunch time. The theme is Lebanese tapas. The burgundy by the glass was solid but need to wait for it to warm up from refrigerated temperature for the aroma to blossom.

It’s too bad breakfast here isn’t included in the all-inclusive package because it was delicious! Lunch is great and can’t beat the view. Also had some snacks here pre-dinner and really enjoyed it.

Just had a beautiful meal at the Brisas restaurant at the Fairmont Mayakoba. I was absolutely amazed. Ernesto - the chef - made a spectacular array of beautiful dishes for us. I was floored by the presentation and the taste. One hundred percent recommended!!!!

Google
Grateful location, right on the beach but well protected. The food is good. The free bread and cheese dip are great (certainly try the black bread with nuts). Other appetizers are less amazing, panzanella, mashed potatoes certainly skip. The grilled avocado is good. Try the sea bass, lobster and steak. The service is attentive.

Yelp
What a terrible place to eat! First, the guy at the desk had an attitude and wouldn't seat us although the place had many empty seats for lunch. The ceviche was fishy and smelled like it had been served and kept on a counter for hours. The burger was rubbery, the vread was soggy, and the potato wedges had a blotch of yellow substance I later realized it was cheese. Loud and annoying ambience. They just use the fact that it's the only place, aside from the beach menu, that's available for lunch on premises.

Yelp
Beautiful location... so so on food. Why did I come here? Because it was on property. It is what it is.

Yelp
Good food with amazing taste and juicy flavors. Amazing service even with the big crowd.

Yelp
We came here for drinks twice. The drinks were expensive and the cocktails were weak. However, this restaurant deserves 4 stars for the service, which was attentive and you'd expect at a Fairmont property. The views were unbeatable. Come here for a drink!

Yelp
We experienced both lunch and dinner here. The dinner was preselected by the company we ventured here with. The appetizer, salad, and dessert were delightful. I was not impressed with the sea bass wrapped in seaweed. Mine did not have enough flavor and others ended up having to take bones out as they were eating. O there's had a steak and bone marrow. The steak was well seasoned and cooked properly. Lunch on the other hand was really good, we didn't order from the indoor menu but the pool menu and was seated in the outside bar patio. That's because we forgot our shoes at the beach and they wouldn't seat you in the restaurant:) we ordered steak nachos and chicken quesadilla. Both came with dude of fresh guacamole and pica de gallo. The nacho cheese had a very mild taste but complemented the beans well and the steak was perfectly cooked. Same with the quesadilla, others tried the fish tacos and raved about them. In the end the food was really good. Drinks were a little pricey. You could go into the gift store/deli and buy drinks for l

Yelp
Ceviche in the Beach was great. We had an amazing waiter, Osiel. They are renovating the restaurant so all meals are served on the beach. Can't beat the view and service!

Yelp
This was the main restaurant that we ate at while staying at Fairmont Mayakoba. We had late afternoon lunch here during our first day. The restaurant is right on the beach, so you get a great view of the water. We ended up ordering: Grouper sandwich: big sandwich that was good, and included french fries Shrimp tacos: not as filling as the sandwich, but the shrimp was cooked nicely, and I liked the charred pineapple For dinner, we ordered the fish platter for two, which consisted of grouper, octopus, calamari and shrimp. I enjoyed the sides as well, especially the lobster mac and cheese. Overall, if you are by the beach area, stop by Brisas for some good food.

Yelp
Save your money......we got sucked into the hype and part of the exclusive seating sessions made it sound exclusive and intimate but it wasn't. The whole experience lasted less than one hour and was the worst meal we had on this trip. They position the meal as a fixed cost for a full blown Korean BBQ experience, and the Chef explains he is from Spain and plays up the preparation. Upon arrival we started with a beef short rib pot sticker and it was down hill from that point forward. My main issue was the following, meat had no flavor, no noodle or rice and no vegetables except for cold kimchi and a cold Cucumber soup. Still with the other restaurants on property. If you want to walk away smelling like fish as you need to cook it yourself, then join him on the sand.

Yelp
Every single dish on the menu is delicious. If you like seafood you must order the red snapper!!! The chicken sandwich was also delicious. We ate her most of the days at our stay at the Fairmont!!! Alberto was my favorite he had a great attitude, customer service was wonderful bec of him. He should definitely be in the managerial position. Hope to see him again when we come back here, and the food especially the seafood was the BEST!!!

Yelp
This place is Fantastic! The views alone make it the best location on the resorts property. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather and blue skies and water. I am a huge seafood lover and the all inclusive package allowed me to order insane amounts of oysters and jumbo shrimp so clearly life made! My wife had some great options as well like pasta with marinara and salads as well as hummus dips. The staff is friendly and accommodating like everywhere else here. It feels like a dream sitting in front of the amazing views. Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
We are staying at the resort and had dinner here last night. The barley and wedge salads are to die for. Beets and huge oysters were great and the cocktails were well done. We were a little disappointed in our proteins (steak and the catch of the day) but I cannot day enough about the salad and appetizer options. We will be going back for small plates! The grilled veggies have a unique flavor and there are so many fruits that I have never tasted here. The ocean view should not be missed! You absolutely must save room for dessert. They were incredible.

Yelp
Ordered the filet medium. First it came out medium well. Returned. Next was rare. Judge for yourself. After having a conversation with the waiter and the manager about what medium is I gave up.
