Fantastic stay at Brisbane House hotel. We stayed in the Donald Suite which was freshly decorated, spacious and was a perfect night's stay. Breakfast the next morning was tasty, and we cannot fault the service. Big shout out to the receptionist and the young lady running the breakfast. Both so friendly and made a great stay excellent. Would return again and again.

This hotel was lovely , from the walk up to the front door to the room itself. The room was very tidy and I was lucky enough to have a view out over the water. There has obviously been alot of money spent on the rooms recently as was up to a very high standard. There was a basket of sweet treats in the room that you had to pay extra for, I thought £4 or whatever it was for the malteasers , was very steep 🫣 The breakfast was lovely and there was plenty choice.

Very disappointed with our Christmas dinner. Each course was served far from hot or even remotely warm and the portions resembled starters, very small main meal especially. The filo pastry seemed undercooked and I counted ONE sprout on my plate! We were then served mincemeat pies which had the diameter of a fifty pence piece! Talk about mini! For almost eighty per head I would have expected better! All in all a nice little profit earner for the Brisbane I would think. Still, once bitten....

Thought i would share my last 2 experiences within 6 weeks to Brisbane House Hotel.|1st visit we booked in and was told their was a wedding on, and that we could not use the lounge.|No facilties for paying guest as was taken over by wedding party.|The weather was terrible on this day, but we had no alternative to go outside for drinks etc.|We complained the next morning and the hotel blamed "booking.com" and that their computer had been done for several days to booking.com|We were told someone would call us, as i felt our overnight was ruined, still waiting on that call.||We revisted last weekend on Saturday night, hoping for a much better experience and honestly this will be our last.|After 1st disappointed my husband booked a premier suite, what a waste of money that was.|Again in mid winter it was very cold.|We were told the heating wont be on till 8pm tonight🙃 its in a timer, yes its easily adjusted to suit conditions.|The attention to detail is nil.|There wasnt even a toilet brush in the bathroom which ive had in most cheap b and bs.|The final crunch came the next morning at breakfast when i asked for a latte was told only filter coffee.|I dnt care if i was charged for this "upgrade coffee" that seemed to be an issue, but no guest should be told no, if you have a coffee machine right in front of you.|Just laziness at its best by the woman who appeared to be a manager which was more alarming .|Its a very competition world we live in and sadly this hotel which was great by last owners, has truly lost their way in customer service.|Too much concentration on weddings. |Please dnt waste your money, and save your disappointment if your only there for an overnight stay.|Lastly i did emailed the hotel direct on Sunday after 2nd stay and yes you've got it im still waiting on a reply

Very modern feel, maybe too corporate for my liking, great position on the seafront, excellent parking right outside the main entrance, unfortunately the restaurant was closed for winter when I stayed but lots of good places to eat close by, the room was a good size but watch out for those snacks on the side.... expensive! Disappointing breakfast, I asked for porridge but they couldn't oblige, not even any decent muesli, I always find it odd how many hotels in Scotland cannot provide good simple porridge, the best porridge I had on our 10 day tour was on Arran and that guest house was run by a delightful German lady.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the sea with the most amazing views of sunset. Well appointed room with comfortable bed , rain shower , delicious tea/ coffee tray with luxury biscuits. Iron and ironing board. Beautiful smelling hand and shower soap. Delicious breakfast freshly cooked to order. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly. Will definitely return.

Stayed with Family and had an amazing time, the staff were so friendly and the hotel is lovely, the wedding we attended had a great atmosphere and was the perfect size to accommodate the full party, I loved the fact we could sit outside in the terrace and relax during photo, it was one of my fav parts of the day and I normally find it boring waiting for dinner. The food I found amazing, we had steak pie and it was super tasty, love how they catered to my children's allergies with ease. Breakfast was lovely continental, we did need to wait about 15 minutes for hot food but that did not bother anyone as we were busy chatting about the evening before.||I would highly recommend, well done on the work you have done to change this place||Hope you enjoy reading my first of many reviews to come on trip advisor!

This hotel recently re opened and WOW!! The staff were more than welcoming and couldn't do more for you. The rooms are immaculate and very well presented giving that luxury feeling. The hotel grounds are stunning and well maintained and offer some great photo options. The only downfall for me was the fact they only take card for transactions at the bar. In today's world that's pretty normal but still can be a little frustrating and inconvenient. Would I book again - without a doubt
