Awesome hostel - clean, modern, 24/7 front desk, secure luggage storage, free breakfast, comfy bedrooms with AC, clean bathrooms, we had no complaints! Had a proper hotel feel in our private triple with proper duvets and two pillows each. The outdoor area was lovely to eat meals in and they put on good activities. Only downsides were the small kitchen (easily crowded) and lack of suggested activities around Brisbane which we would have appreciated. Otherwise, fantastic stay for an unbeatable price

Room was good size, and loved the fact there was a fridge in the triple room. Only the blind and window area was a downside. Looked like it was stained. Free breakfast is great, and only hostel I've been to so far that provided milk (dairy and non-dairy) for complimentary tea and coffee. Close to town and easy to get to from the Greyhound or train station

The room is clean and tidy, but the blanket is very thin, so it feels very cold when sleeping. A free breakfast is provided in the morning, and the food is nice.

This hostel is well worth the price and location is great too. The pods are really cool, you can tell a lot of travellers stay here for a long time. The kitchen is very well equipped also. The place has really cool vibes.

I absolutely loved my stay at Brisbane Quarters Hostel! After visiting the Gold Coast, arriving here felt fantastic. One of the first things I noticed was how clean and well-organized everything is—common areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and even a small gym area and pool. I stayed in Room 103, which was really nice. The room had a small locker for personal items, and the hostel provided fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and pillow, making settling in super easy. The basic breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day, and I have to give a special shout-out to the amazing receptionist (the friendly lady with tattoos). I had a minor issue during my stay, and she took action immediately to help—thank you so much for that! As for the facilities, there is plenty of communal space to relax, and the kitchen is spacious enough so you never feel crowded. However, if you’re a digital nomad, the internet speed might not be the best. Although Room 103 had some desk space, it’s not suitable for attending meetings, and there isn’t a dedicated co-working area on the premises. The only other minor downside for me was that while the beds were okay, they weren’t the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hostel. That said, the overall cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the convenient location make Brisbane Quarters Hostel a fantastic choice. Everything in the city is close by, and Brisbane itself is a wonderful place to explore. Overall, I’d recommend this hostel for travelers looking for a clean, well-run place with good amenities, friendly staff, and a central location—just keep in mind the internet speed and bed comfort if those are your top priorities. Enjoy Brisbane!

A wonderful hostel in the heart of Brisbane, very close to Central Station so easy transport to attractions. Staff are friendly and welcoming, accomodation is clean with fresh sheets and blankets available on request. Shared bathrooms are cleaned everyday and were overall very clean. Breakfast is served between 8-10am and consists of cereals, yoghurts, tinned fruit and toast. Entertainment throughout the week including pizza night, movie night, pancakes for breakfast etc. 15% discount for neighbouring bar/restaurant/coffee shop was very helpful as travellers on a budget! Only negative is that the walls are thin and the doors slam as fire doors (understandably) and this woke us up a few times every night. Communal areas shut at 10pm however some other guests can be heard when coming in in the early hours. We stayed in a private room which had a bunk bed. Rooms are basic but have hanging space for clothes, would be nice for shelves under hanging rail for clothes/shoes. I would stay again and would recommend to a friend.

While the location and amenities are good, the hostel is very tiny and crowded. The rooms are small with each bed in different directions and not much storage space for luggage. The common areas were super small and very crowded as well. Good for 1-2 nights stay.

Very decent hostel with lovely staff. They organise weekly events like cheese/wine and movie night. We were there for xmas and they had a BBQ and some other cheerful things. We especially loved the level of cleanliness. Bathrooms, toilets, pool were all very clean. The beds are comfortable but wonky and creaky. Could do with a more sturdier replacement. A shelf to put things on would also be a good addition, as especially the top bunk has zero space to put anything. There's lockers in the room and a good amount of floorspace for luggage. The main issue for me was the kitchen; despite making the most of it, it's way too small for the amount of guests. Same for the fridges, they have loads but you still need to fight for a space. A more structured approach with a dedicated box per bunk or something would be much better. They'd basically need to convert a dorm into a second kitchen + fridges imo. Same goes for the chill out/dining space; not even close to enough seats for everyone at peak moments such as dinner. Other positive points: free towels, could get clean sheets upon request, good location near the river, station, and supermarket. Thing to note: it's quiet time after 10pm and they do close all spaces! Sometimes annoying, but it does make for a good sleep so I think it's beneficial overall.
