Bristol Motel

Unique. Owned by a wonderful couple who are on site at all times. They are ready to accommodate the every need of guests. Small shop for items you may have forgotten. Excellent service. Housekeeping does a fantastic mindful job. Our room was always kept up. Clean and restocked. Free coffee and homemade muffins are available each morning. There is a BBQ that can be used also. Not often do you find such level of kind friendly and attentive service in 2020. Also room FEELS clean. Much Gratitude from us.

Stale greeting. Never got the room I was promised and reserved. Heat was horrendous and there was no AC. Made a complaint at 930 am told me to come back she would find another hotel room for me and when I got back 10 am from breakfast I noticed they took all my personal items out of the room and basically threw them at the door. I had til 11 am and they kicked me out. HORRIBLE ! I was told not even legal to touch people`s belongings. NO privacy signs on the doors and maid walked in on me even with latch the door opened wide enough. Folks I am a traveler and easy going guy and I have a respectable job I have never been treated like this by anyone in my life nor have I ever been kicked out of any place. Refund yes I got for second night only and I left it that until I seen my items at the door. It made me feel horrible. NEVER again !!!!

Its a older motel but well renovated and SPOTLESSLY clean! I came in soaked after riding 300 km in pouring rain. Even though it was still warm out and heating system was not turned on I was cold all my gear and boots soaked. The manager got me a portable electric heater from storage and I was able to continue in the AM clean warm and dry! Thank you very much for your kind friendly service!

The room was dirty, toilet not cleaned. The previous person left a charger behind and there was garbage beside the bed hidden just slight under near the table. It was cold, one of the lights did not work nor did the toilet flush properly. The towels smelled, nasty brown, bedsheets looked wrinkled and used up, door didn't lock properly. No microwave or mini fridge. Same owners as best northern absolutely equally horrible over there.

We had a great experience a couple nights ago when we stayed. A very friendly gentleman, William, greeted us when we got in. There was a mixed up with our room but William was quick to accommodate. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you William! And the homemade muffins were delicious.

I was in town for a funeral recently. The owners were very nice. As my daughter had decided at the last minute to accompany me on the trip, the owners offered me a 2-bed room instead of the 1-bed I had originally booked, for the same price. It was much appreciated. My only issue with my stay was the fact that, despite being in the middle of a global pandemic, housekeeping was entering and cleaning rooms without wearing minimal, appropriate PPE-a mask. I do hope she was at least wearing gloves and/or sanitizing her hands in between rooms. UPDATE: Reply to owner’s comment: FYI-Your housekeeping staff was not wearing a mask in the hallway, which is where I saw them. When someone wears a mask, it’s to protect others. I would’ve felt more comfortable and safe had they worn a mask while in my room, during my stay. It should not be an option.

The place hasn't been updated since 1970, booked a queen room, got a dbl bed. Room doors are old style hollow bedroom doors, extremely noisy. After charging my credit card, hotel employees called us twice on the day of check in to make sure we were coming in case they could rent out our room to someone else... DO NOT RECOMMEND EDIT: Sadly, instead of accepting the review as a way to improve the motel, the review was taken as a personal attack. The response from the owners was fabricated. My husband, myself and the imaginary 3rd person who shared our bed will steer clear of the motel in the future.

Loveeee this spot! So cute. The building has a retro feel, and our room was very cozy! We enjoyed the complimentary muffins in the morning, and loved the jacuzzi! Also was stoked that the fridge was already plugged into the wall, we got our ice from the lobby and froze our drinks nicely. And there are BOOKS that you can borrow! The store also had nice selection of items one would need by surprise like hats, postcards, butt plugs, and headache aids! The lady at the lobby was also very friendly and courteous!

This place is not available to be booked in any of the travel sites such as Expedia or Hotels. In a small town that has a couple gas station ms nearby, a few restaurants and a Tims. A few motels adorn the strip where this motel is making it an attractive place for night stop if you are going east (us) or west. Reached there at around 7pm and was greeted by 10/12 year old boy who checked us in and showed us the way to the room. The hotel dated but fairly clean. The two queen bed room was a room with two sections with their respective beds and TVs. A bathroom in the middle which is from decades ago. But still fairly maintained. There is a microwave on each of the floor if you bring food with you. The beds are OK for one night sleep and we didn't care much as we were leaving quite early.
