If you're nostalgic for the good old days of Windows 95, dial-up internet, and questionable plumbing, then this backpackers might be right up your alley. The whole place feels like it hasn't seen an update since the late 90s — and that includes the facilities, the furniture, and definitely the Wi-Fi.
Speaking of Wi-Fi, don't expect to stream, scroll, or even load a basic webpage from your room. The signal is so weak it practically vanishes unless you’re standing outside in the courtyard, which ironically has the best internet reception. Because nothing says “modern travel” like huddling outdoors for a signal in 2025.
The rooms are cramped, the beds creak with every breath, and the "view" is… well, just don't expect one. A few of the taps and showers are broken or barely functioning, and everything from the toilets to the kitchen appliances screams "budget hostel, circa 1997."
Oh, and let’s talk about the key situation. Yes, an actual physical key (remember those?). No keycards here — just old-school metal and a $40 deposit for something that probably cost $2 to cut at the hardware store.
The staff were nice enough, and the location is decent with transport nearby — but that's about where the praise ends. For what you're paying, you'd expect at least basic functionality, if not a hint of modernization.
Honestly, this place needs a serious reboot — preferably one that doesn't involve floppy disks.
