Super disappointing, cannot recommend. For how much it cost, this was a far inferior experience vs virgin, Emirates and most 1st airline lounges due to the service provided from the dinning staff.
The amenities, bar, front service desk was fantastic as you would expect from a first class lounge. Cabana/hotel room was great, terrace had a good view.
However, the customer service from dinning experience was like eating at a 1 star third world country spot.
-First we were outside in the terrace and being completely ignored by staff there
-Assuming they were busy, we moved to the fine dinning room where there were around 6 waiting staff. An Indian gentleman named Richard was our server made us feel very unwelcomed. For example, we ordered a 2014 Bordeaux, he comes over and fills my glass up to the top like we were drinking cool aid and rushes away. Beef came out well done and we had to explain to him what medium rare is. The asian lady with glasses who dropped off the food basically threw the plates at us and also brought us wrong dishes then tried to take it away. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and they cleared our whole table, lol. The only saving grace was there was a older white British lady who was a sweetheart and actually smiled and asked us how we were doing. Overall though, we felt unwanted and look forward to another opportunity to rectify this unfortunate experience as surely its not what BA aspire to
