We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, with a few areas for improvement.||Pros:||Room Cleanliness: Exceptional—definitely a 10/10. Both the room and bathroom were spotless throughout our stay.||Room Features: We booked a city view room. While the view wasn’t personally to my liking, it was exactly what we paid for. The room was very well-equipped, featuring an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, a spacious wardrobe, a mini fridge, and a few complimentary beverages.||Air Conditioning: The AC worked perfectly. Thanks to the solid construction of the building, the room stayed cool and pleasant after just a few minutes of use.||Breakfast: Served à la carte and included in our booking. While the selection was somewhat limited, the food was tasty and well-prepared.||Staff: All staff members were professional, polite, and clearly well-trained.||Facilities: The swimming pool and surrounding areas were immaculate and well maintained.||Beach: The small beach directly in front of the hotel was a highlight—crystal-clear water, super clean, and pleasantly warm from morning until late afternoon. The view of cruise ships arriving at the nearby port added a nice touch, and the port itself is just a short walk away.||Cons:||Dining Costs: We chose not to have lunch or dinner at the hotel, as the menu prices were extremely high for the portion sizes we observed. Instead, we dined at Margaritaville, located next to the British Colonial, where we enjoyed delicious meals, generous portions, and great value for money.||Lack of Atmosphere: Unfortunately, the hotel lacked any entertainment or lively ambiance. Given the quality of the property, this was a missed opportunity to create a more engaging guest experience.||Overall:||This hotel offers excellent service, cleanliness, and amenities in a great location. However, the lack of dining value and entertainment slightly detracted from the overall experience. With a few enhancements in these areas, it could truly be outstanding.

Some constructive criticism: our room needed a blind on the closet window or a way for the doors to stay closed- the lightening storms lit up our bedroom because of that. The rooms really need a full length mirror and a small make-up mirror. We had to request 20 additional hangers, there were only 5 in the room when we arrived. Despite us being out of the room more the majority of the day, everyday, housekeeping always seemed to come at the end of the day which was annoying, because that was when we wanted to go back to our room. The shower soap dispenser was really hard to use. The music around the pool should be shut off at night, we could hear it all night in our room. The bar/restaurant staff around the pool need some more training. It was day three when we realized they provided service, and they would bring a menu but never come take the order. One day we waited over 90 minutes for one burger. The great stuff: The service from your staff was always amazing (except by the pool) - the best we experienced of everything we did in Nassau, the pools and beaches felt very safe and were super clean. The room was very nice, the linens and towels felt luxurious, we appreciated the sunscreen and water that was available by the pool. Overall we really loved our stay, there were a couple minor things that could be improved but we really enjoyed our stay.

I used ResortPass to get a day pass while on a cruise. It was from 9-5 and my Option came with a day bed and 2 drinks. The pool area was very nice and like a lagoon. One side was walk in to 2.5 feet and the other went to 6 feet. The beach area isn't huge but it's clean and beautiful. Definitely worth getting a day pass over walking to junkanoo beach. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Kendria.

Didn’t stay at the hotel, but did a day pass to the pool/beach. Had an amazing and relaxing day at the pool and beach. The beach is gorgeous. The staff is amazing and the food/bar is great. Security is great as well to keep the area private. Will come back again!

The hotel has the history and elegance of the old times. We like the feeling of being transported to the colonial times, its warmth and class make it unique, stylish and modern. Beautifully decorated. The pools are splendid and the private beach is perfect for spending quality resting time. A luxury just a few will appreciate. Love the place. Stayed 5 days for approx $800. There’s a resort fee of $45/day per room. Not included on the price. Be aware and not surprised but it’s worth it. The staff is friendly. Taxis are the way to travel around and pretty much everything is at walking distance. Not too much to do after 5, everything is closed.

We went here, almost everthing is good but the service of the beach is HORRIBLE. Everything is bad to put an umbrella on the beach is a big wait and the servuce like kayaks paddle is bad it has hours to open and close who nobody knows and it close when they want. The beach has some trash but only good of beach is the food service and it can be also a problem. The hotel is good and everything of it is good but the problem is the beach. The food is normal but he prices are high in comparation with others. I had a good experience in the hotel but in the beach was bad they neee to fix it.

I celebrated a milestone birthday on August 31 at Woodes Rodgers Restaurant. It was quite a memorable experience. We took lots of pictures. The service was excellent way beyond what I had anticipated. The ambiance was perfect. Tameka Wallace was the reason I selected it. The service that she rendered was impressive and applaudable. Thanks so much Tameika for making me feel so special on my milestone birthday! Food was great also.

This would have been a 5 star review were it not for the terrible waitstaff pool side. We purchased a day pass for this resort from our cruise ship. The pool side experience was absolutely fantastic....except for the non-existent service. We were briefly greeted upon arrival. 25 minutes later we were brought 1 menu. We never saw her again. We finally got so desperate for a drink (we had limited time here) we ended up going straight to the bar whereupon we got great service.
